Ahhhh…Friday Scritches…MMMMMMM…
We love Friday!!!…not sure why, ‘cuz Dad and Mom are RETIRED…but they still treat this day like its, well, like…ummmm…aahhh…like it’s SPECIAL…???????????????
Anyways…I wanna share with you one of my morning rituals me and Mom have…after I have my brekkies (thanks loads Dad for the nom noms)…and after Mom and I read our bloggies we follow…
Then I snuggle down next to her and I get my morning SCRITCHES!!!…mmmmm…
…first she starts under my chin…just above my gorgeous white diamond neck accessory…
…then she starts to move up…along my cheek…ahhhhhh….nice…..
…can ya see I am now kind’a like in a trance??…mesmerizing (vocab builder)….now she is doing the thingy she does on top of my head…Oh My Cat!!!…HEAVEN!!!…
…MEOWSIE WOWSIE…that’s just the spot!!…yes, yes, yes!!!…(now efurryone is gonna want what I’m havin’, huh?! MOL)…can ya see the little smile on my lips??…I know her next move is gonna be down to my eyes…OH COD!!!…I LUVLUVLUV MY MORNING SCRITCHES WITH MOM!!!…
ahhhhhhh…just had to share our little routine…so nice to start a day like that…
Ok, so…shakes head to clear it, strokes whiskers with paws…now…about my post tomorrow…
You are totally not going to wanna miss this one…I am going to “open my fur coat” as we cats say (we don’t do kimonos)…and share a secret, a never before witnessed hidden pleasure in which I often indulge…just sayin’…you are gonna wanna see this…emmmhmmm!

I wish I had a morning routine which started like that!
ok, so Basil…you have to get better control of your bipeds! You must show them the way to get your morning routine just the way YOU like it…they always like it when we are “cute”…and from your pics, you should be able to do ‘cute’ really well…start with that
There is a new puppy who is after my job, and the attention *Sob* this is an old picture I am a bit more grown up now *bigger sob*

Basil, you just hop on the next flight to San Francisco and we will meet you at the airport…nuff said…you just get outta there if you are no longer the TOP DOG!!! sending you soft paw pats to comfort you…reaches over from Savannahs Paw Tracks to wipe Basil’s eyes…soft paws stroke his ear…whispers in his ears…you are good, your are smart, you are special…
I am packing up my treats and toys as we speak *rushes off to find suitcase*

Oh Savannah! Me thinks you’ve got those parents wrapped around your paw girl! I love face rubs and scratches – especially on my ears. I think it reminds us a bit of when we were little kits and our Moms groomed us….now our HUMAN Moms groom us and we remember…..

Feels good, doesn’t it? Something I love absolutely too is when my human puts her head very close to my body when I am napping so she would hear me purr. That makes me purr even louder!

Oh Cat! aren’t they just the best!!! I push so hard into Mom or Dad’s hands it surprises them…then I whip my head around and sometimes I make them poke me in the eye or ear…MOL…totally my fault!
