Hiya!! Savannah Here!
And I have finally made up with Mom and Dad…I know they need to have their little get-a-ways…and they have been showering me with attention!
…of course I hid in my closet after they got home…it always makes Mom and Dad fret a bit when I do it…pitiful looking, huh??!!
Of course I was not being spiteful at 2AM when I upchucked on Mom…she woke up, comforted me, took off the bedspread, then started to go back to sleep, and just to let her know how much I was still hacked off appreciate her attention, I got back in bed and talked to her for about 5 minutes and gave her some head butts…ya know…stuff to keep her awake let her know I missed her…but as I said…I have totally forgiven them…(snicker, snork, snork, bwa hahaha…)
Alrighty then, on to my newsy stuff…
First…I GOT A NEW AWARD!!!
My Weimer pal, Easy, over at Easy Blog gave me the Beautiful Blogger Award!!
I hope that means he thinks I am BEAUTIFUL!!! And that he thinks my blog is nice too!
As always, the award requires I share some things about myself…so I will add 5 more things to stuff I have already told you…
- I have nightmares!…no, seriously, I really do…I wake up sort of half asleep, cry out very pitifully…Mom comes running…and last time it happened, I was on my fave step at the bottom of the stairs and Mom was upstairs and she called me from the top of the stairs and I literally RAN up the stairs mewing to her every step of the way…and let her stoke me and baby talk me and I finally laid down and relaxed. It was a terrible nightmare.
- I don’t like bacon…sorry furriends…I am not a “treat” kind’a ladycat I guess
- I have started to sleep on the floor outside our office waiting for Mom to come play with me
- My fave time to play is about 10PM
- I still want to do my Precious Prancing Pony Movie….sigh

I know…but you know what???…when Mom and Dad were gone and Auntie Shannon stayed with me, (she also does our house cleaning) she TOSSED THOSE NICE PAPERS IN THE TRASH!!!…MOL…so Mom took some tissue paper out of a shoe box for the time being..but those other papers were stronger…paw pats, Savvy

Packing paper are such fun toys. We used to have one that we played with and RIPPED apart. Then Mommy got another piece but used it to wrap up a box of broken dishes! WHAT!!??

I like playing with paper things too, my fav is the toilet paper roll. btw: you’re right, posting the awards in blogs makes absolutely sense, why we didn’t this? I will tell this immediately to my staff!
I played with the TP roll for a bit, then I got bored with it…I keep getting bored with my toys…Mom keeps getting more and when I don’t play with them, she takes them to the shelter where she and Dad volunteer and gives them to the cats there. The awards just got so hard to keep up with. We did not know about all this when we started and we have only been blogging daily since March. And if you do everything asked to do for the award, it takes so long to post and then you can’t do the post you had planned…sigh…paw pats Savannah
I know Savannah, sometimes it is stressy,our first blog-victims were burnt potatos … I’ve read at Sammies you will move soon, so I think you are currently very busy…I hope your new home is comfy and you all are feeling well there. If you need some help, we are good in fly-screens and wall painting but we can try other DIY-projects too, why not…just call…

Nice to find out more about my sisfur from another mother. We have 1, 2 and 4 in common. TW doesn’t know if I have nightmares but I jump/jerk so hard during the night sometimes, it wakes her up and then she says some comforting words. Not only don’t I like bacon but I don’t like prawns either.
oh my, I certainly don’t like prawns either!! in fact every time Mom tries to give me fish, I don’t like it. And yes, CK, I think we are sisfurs from different Moms…sending you Savannah paw pats and purrrrsss

not sure many peep Guardians would recognize the difference between a cat or dog having a ‘dream’ versus a ‘nightmare’…but there is definitely a difference
Hi, Savannah. You Go Girl! Congratulations on the award! Regarding treats — you might like freeze-dried chicken. It’s much easier on the tummy than bacon. I really like to give it as a treat because it’s just plain chicken. You can also get some other freeze-dried meat treats. I’ve only tried chicken, although I’ve heard that the freeze-dried salmon is great too.
About the cold shoulder you gave Mom and Dad — a lot of us humans wish we could show our feelings. I’m glad you are in a safe, loving home where you *can*.
oh hi Susan!! and Mom is already on the freeze dried chicken, and I just turn my nose up and go back to my favorite prescription kibble, that’s all I like…and yes, I can be ‘me’ and this home is very safe

Oh, how does your Mom know it is a nightmare and not just chasing rabbits??? My Mom knows ‘cuz of the sound of my ‘meow’…it is different??? just curious ‘cuz I don’t think many peeps would know there is a difference for us cats and dogs…I think they believe we are just “dreaming” something fun???

no, really..Mom and Dad both have seen me cry out in a pitiful mew..then I kind of wake partly up..and look around very anxious…and this last time I ran straight to Mom and practically into her arms…only I can’t be picked up…I sure could have used some holding that day…when I dream nice dreams of mice, I sound very different…
