Hiya! Savannah Here!
Whew! Over 11 days we had two separate intruders visiting!!!
Thank Ceiling Cat the last one left yesterday…and by the way intruder…don’t let that door smack ya on the toshy going out!
I have spent the last 11 days mostly in this very spot…all day long…this is Mom’s side of the bed of course…
…and I have kept my eyes and nose covered so the intruders’ nasty cooties can’t get me…
…AND…Dad and Mom have hardly played with me at all…(wipes leaky eyes with cute dainty white paw)…
But, the nasty intruders are gone and we are working on getting back to normal…and MOVE!!! Already the boxes are appearing…but I’m thinking I may have opportunity to explore some…so I will keep you posted on what I find…
Oooopppss…I digressed…appologies…back to my Monday Meowsie News…
So, even tho’ it has been a harsh past 11 days, I have done a couple of things that were noteworthy (vocab building project VBP)…
…first, as you know, I am not really a “nip” kind’a girl…but Mom did get me this really cute mousie nip toy sometime ago…
…and…she caught me playing with it!…yeah, you got it right…I am giving it the old rabbit kick of death…heh heh…
…now gnawing on it a bit for taste value…hmmm, not bad…
…WHAT MOM??!!…sheeesh…first you give me no attention ‘cuz of your intruders guests, and now you expect me to keep performing???…NOT!
I thought I gave her a pretty good “stinky eye” look…don’t ya think so??
And my other Meowsie News that is really pretty big…I had my brekkies with Dad and Mom and THE INTRUDER!!…TAAA DAAAA…getting braver all the time….(those are her toesies in the photo so I was pretty close)…
I also had to endure getting my nails whacked before both intruders showed up…once again…traumatic (VBP) for me, Mom and Dad…but now I am not getting stuck in the carpet when I play on the stairs or make biskits on my afghans, so it was all good.
ONE LAST THING:
PURRLEASE, EVERYONE…ACCEPT MY APPOLOGY for not having been a regular visitor to your blogs over the last week or so. And I know I have not been responding to your thoughtful comments regularly either. Because we are moving I may have to be irregular even more over the rest of September and that makes me so upset…I miss efurrybody!
Perhaps some of you have moved on or don’t visit as often because of this, but I hope to win you back. I can see my readership has consistently dropped for the last couple of weeks so I will be working with Mom to get a survey out to all of you, in a couple of weeks, to help me learn what I can do to improve.
I made a commitment, it’s in my Mission Statement, to blog every day for at least one year to share my daily progress as I recover as much as I can from being an adult rescue cat…and I have added trying to share the experiences of other adult cats and adult dogs. So, my visitors are impawtant to me…

1. Proud of you for breaking bread with intruders!
2. Our readership dips when we cannot visit much either, we do our best. Mom and I, Your Champion, never judge or count your visits, comments, etc… we know you visit when you can and we pledge to remain connected no matter what! Jetty kisses and JJ hugs and lovies from Mom to seal the deal.
3. Life happens and moving is HUGE…
4. We diligently participate in a hop or two and then our pals will return…
you gave me and Mom leaky eyes…thank you..this is really really hard…but we are all together and that’s what counts..and we have furriends and champions too!! paw pats and Savvy smoochies…

My Mom and I love your blog Savvy…..and like I said, don’t worry if you’re out of action during your move – we all should be taking a break once in a while ANYWAY!! Hope the move goes QUICKLY and well…..then as soon as you unpack your box of toys and find your treats, hop back on and visit us all!!

Your Mom has certainly been busy with the introoders and now that they have left, there’s all the packing, moving and unpacking to do. AND making sure YOU adjust well to your new home. Once that is done, you can start over with increasing your readership. Don’t fret about it now. 🙂

Darling, Not to worries! Somedays lots of kitties visit me and other days not so many. I think it’s just a natural flux! We all still loves you! Sometimes furiends don’t drop by for a month or two and then suddenly reappear…it’s just the way of the blogosphere, I think. I will follow you to the ends of the earth…or at least the end of the BART line, ha ha meow!
We try to visit as much as possible, but our mom is traveling a lot for her job. Good luck on your move.

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I still enjoy reading about your recovery. I reminds me of my own progress and encourages me to keep going forward. It is so easy to get in a routine and become comfortable. I know you play with you huMom regularly; sometimes you enjoy playing with a peacock feather. So it occurred to me that while I love cuddles and conversation, I rarely play. I leave the rough housing to the boycats. Anyway, you reminded me to play. Just my huMom and I. It’s great fun to pounce on the peacock! So don’t think people aren’t visiting when they don’t comment. I know my huMom has had some difficulties lately and hasn’t been able to participate in our favorite blogs as much as she’d like, but we’ve read everyone. Hopefully the huMom and my beanbro will be back on track soon. But remember, we’re happy to read whenever you have time to write; please go easy on yourself and you huMom.

We know that things happen that make it hard for our hoomans to keep up with the things we hold dear. Like the past few days, Mom has been so troubled by my, well, er… blocked colon. She has been watching me like a hawk on prey. Today I got to go Vet Jail. Thankfully I am out, but now I am hiding and napping (although I am eating…Mom served it to me). So stuff happens and people drop in and out. We have always missed those who drop out permanently and never know why. But we understand it will be hard for your Mom to post much of anything while you move. But we know you will have some great posts about the move after it’s over.

Ah. Well, my readership is nowhere near yours but it also went significantly down after my human went away and I couldn’t visit anyone’s blogs or post anything.
I don’t think people are moving on, just that they a friendly reminder that you’re still around
