Getting Real About Moving…
Hiya! Savannah Here!
Well, I am getting real about how much time this move is taking for Mom and Dad…and I am trying really hard to nap through most of it…
So, I asked Mom to feel free to do a few posts that repeat of some of my very first ones…I didn’t have many readers and so maybe some of you will enjoy seeing where my thinking was at the beginning of my blog career!
…this is one of the first photos Dad took of me…it was the first time I initiated making contact with Mom…I am sort’a resting my butt on her footsies…
…it was a beginning…
So here is something I think is so impawtant that I wanted to repeat it too…I hope you will all agree with the Tem Commandments for Animals…my former shelter Kitty Corner gives this to all new adopters…hope they read it…
The photos are my before me brothers, Boris (orange and white) Popcorn (orange fluff ball) and my sister Tasha (yes, she had the ‘tortie-tude!’)…and of course there is one of me lying down…you can see my cute front paws with white tips…
Thank you for your patience and understanding. I won’t be visiting much at all for the next 4-5 days. I will try to respond to comments on my posts. And I will post once a day…repeats from my beginning…but a post none the less.
OH YEAH! Mom just reminded me…yesterday was my 200th post!!! Woo Hoo!!!…

I do feel you seem much more “at ease” now though.
We are with you in thought and purrs! Soon the moving will be over and it will be fun to explore the new place.

I have been behaving weird yesterday and now today…we all think I know something is happening…I am sticking pretty close to Mom…and I come to check up on her often…
Awww sweetheart, of course you can feel the change is coming and that must be scary for you. Stick to your Mom, she is there for you. Purrs!
You really should let my mom help out. She LOVES to move and re-organize and stuff.

runs to laptop…pulls up Travelocity…Ok Zim..what airport do you want your Mom to fly from?…we will pick her up at SFO (San Francisco)…we will come over on BART train to fetch her…when do you guys want her back???

Hi Darling Sorry I has not visited in a couple days–my Human has been “wurking” too much and has not provided the kind of service I deserve. Sounds as though your Peeps are not providing your usual 5-Star service either.

Don’t worry; all this “moving” stuff will be over soon. When you get to your new house, all your stuff will be there and most important your Mommy and Daddy. It’ll be fine.

Congratulations on your 200 posts! I know that the move is going to make you nervous, but there comes a day, soon, that it will all be over and you wont even remember the scary bits!

Congrats on your 200th post! Major accomplishment! Moving isn’t THAT bad!!! We have done it a few times (with cats) and all went well! Hang in there!
Thanks Cody and Miss Caren and Dakota. We have moved across the US with 3 Siberians and 2 cats. Cats flew with Dad and Mom drove the dogs. We just have never done a move with a cat like Savvy that we cannot pick up. She has to cornered and we hate doing it): And, we giving our home back to the bank and renting first time in 30 years. So sme sadness involved for sure. But, we are moving forward and that is always good. Hugs Mom and Savvy

thanks! I didn’t have any followers for a while, so most of my current readers will find my beginning story about my rescue as something a bit new. ANd my writing style is changing over time too…who knew!
