Moving Day…The Movers Arrive…

Monday we moved…finally!
I already showed you the sign Mom put on the door to my hotel suite…but in case you missed it on Wordless Wednesday’s Post…
…and yup..you guessed it! NOBODY entered my hotel suite…I mean like ABSOLUTELY NOTBODY!!!…heh…heh…
So, my day started off with me in the master bedroom of my suite…I was pretty tense…
Mom put my fave bed from our office next to me…but I was just too worried what with all the noise of wrapping stuff and men’s voices…remember, I am pretty scared of male peeps.
So I just stared at Mom…like, “what?”…”you want me to move from this safe dark corner?”…”…into that wide open bed???”…”are you crazy woman???”…”that is so not happening!!!”…”just telling you…”…
So days and days went by (like about 3 hours)…I was trembling, shaking…mewing softly…no one heard me with all the racket going on outside my hotel suite. I was petrified! (VBP)…I could really have used my blog furriends to hold my delicate little trembling paw…(wipes leaky eyes with trembling paw)…
Finally…Mom came in to check on me…after days of being alone with little to eat…cold…hard closet for a bed…I tell you furriends…it was pawful…
…errrr….ummm….”what?”…”what do you want Mom ? Can’t you tell I am napping??”…”sheesh!..what does a cat have to do to get some privacy??”…”What?”…”oh, time to go….”…stretch, yawn…”ok”…”let’s do this thing!”…
You can all see how terribly stressful the whole moving day was for me…yawn…..
And then Dad had to do the ‘nasty’ scruff thingy…and plopped me into the PTU

You brave lady, toughing it out in the suite. So sorry you experienced discomfort at any time. You know as your Champion, I would do ANYTHING to protect you. 🙂

LMAO. Says Mom. Those are just letters she types to save space for photos. Word Press acts different when you use Chrome or Internet Explorer. She forgot to scroll down and delete those letters. Big loops! So embarrassing

Oh my sweetheart! I totally understand!! When I came back from being ::tutored:: I went UTB for hours and days!! The Human kept putting nice inviting beds around and stuff–but honestly! Did she **really** expect me to just plump myself right on down when only hours before she ripped me from my sleep and did you-know-what?? I think not!! We kitties needs our little safe corners and hideyholes till we are sure it’s safe out there. Good for you for staying in your little safe spot.
Can’t wait for pix of the new place, though 🙂 I will come hold your little paw anytime, Savannah. Always remember that! XOXOXO

Aww, poor Savvy! What a shame they didnt put the comfy bed on the hard shelf! Then again, I suppose you would have just shoved it out of the way anyway to get behind stuff.

Well, if it gets too bad, just call me. I recently had my catnapper in tears and babbling with fear – I am sure I could do the same with movers!
Moving is very stressful, Savannah – we hope things get back to normal soon for you. Then you can out so we can all see and enjoy your pretty face.

Whoa! I bet your thought once you had a furever home, you wouldn’t have to go through this anymore. Well at least the humans are familiar and you know they love you. Can’t wait to see pics of you getting comfy with your Mom and Dad.

Well Savannah, maybe by now (it’s Thursday and I’m only NOW reading this post!!) – you are feeling a bit more comfy in the new house? I hope so! I’m sure it will take a while for you to find new “safe spots” but there’s always your parents bed you can count on!!!

Hey Sammy…wait ’til you see some of the photos of my in my new home. I am still confined to our master bedroom and bath…and still spending lots of time UTB. So Dad and Mom are keeping me confined until the rest of the house is set up. Probably will be done by Sunday.
Moving is so stressful, I hear anyway, I’ve never had to do it, but I can imagine how scray it all is – all new smells, nothing familiar.,
it is scary for sure. And think Cod I have some familiar smells with our furniture and other things

MOL I am getting more comfy in my new bedroom..I am confined to our master bedroom and bath right now and that has cool places to discover. Wait ’til you see me in a new place…heh heh
You’ll be fine once you get settled in the new place. Just think of all the places to explore there will be.
