I have lots of news: An Award; A Pressie; A Card…
The Award:
Well, as you ALREADY know…our move made me late on lots of things. Besides not getting to visit all my furriends everyday, I also missed posting about an award I had passed to me…and I got it not once, but TWICE! How cool is that?
Misaki, The Misadventures of Misaki, was the first furriend to pass the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award to me. Thank you my doggie girl furriend!
And then before I could thank Misaki properly (VBP), I received the award again just last week while I was moving…this time from my very good furriend Nerissa, over at Nerissa’s Life. He is thoughtful like that ya know…
As always, I continue to be appreciative of all who think of passing an award to me. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated. I do try really hard to post every day and to make some contribution to helping other adult rescue cats and dogs live as their REAL SELF in furrever homes. So thank you Misaki and Nerissa for thinking I am a team member…’cuz I sure do try to be!

I am continually humbled by the dedication all of you show in your words and actions to help rescue animals around the world, and to help all of us be more effective staff managers for our Guardians by sharing whatever you learn about the best practices related to our nutrition, care and overall health…(places paw to forehead)…I salute you all.

…gotta get in this thing…I bet’cha my pal Alfie sent me something…my VERY FIRST EVER pressie and addressed to ME!
…squeeeeee again!!!!!…I got a new nip toy and some yummy salmon treats!!…
…and look at my card!…It’s a house warming card for me in my new home!!…wipes little leaky eyes…sniff, sniff…I never had anyone think of just me before beside Mom and Dad…
…and look!…a note!…OH WOW!…this is from Alfie and Mollie and their Mommy too!!…how very, very special…
…Mom filled the toy with some nip and I took it out for a sniff…thank you so very much Alfie, Mollie and Mommy…I am so fortunate to have furriends like you guys…
The Card:
…ANOTHER CARD CAME!…addressed just to ME!!!….Miss Martha volunteers with my Dad on this special jury thingy for our County and she sent me a house warming card…please notice that it is MY NAME!…she did not address to Dad and Mom…she sent it just for ME…she takes time to read my blog sometimes too!…cool, huh?
…and some flowers came for all of us from Mom’s good girlfriend Miss Easter…nice, huh?…

oh Sammy, I did really well making this move. I am pretty much fine already. I tried to get to me dinner last night, and decided the shortest way was ‘under Nanuk’s tummy’…not quite enough height, so he fell over ON ME! Mom thought I was a goner and would run away, but I only hopped to the side about a foot, then came right back for my dinner!!!! I wasn’t even scared! Now THAT is progress, huh?

Hello Sweet Darling! My Human doesn’t even have a good excuse (like “Sorry–moving!”) and she has not been furry helpful to me at awl. She has helped me visit again after slacking for a couple days last week, but today which was *supposed* to be a stay-home-with-the-kitty holiday-day turned into a “I have to go in to work for like 7 hours” day and I hardly got played wif at ALL because then she bringed a bunch of work HOME with her. Sigh.
I’m glad you is getting all that cool stuff! We always THINK about doing nice things like that, but then the Human just about NEFUR follows through. She’s l-a-m-e.
no worries Spitty,I know what it is to have the best intentions and then discover I don’t have enough time to follow through. Mom keeps telling em we will visit efurryone efurry day now, but so far, I am still very sporadic (VBP)…and they are planning a “little overnight get away” for Dad’s b-day later this month…so there go my blog visits again…sigh
Concats on the award and the package and the cards and the nommable flowers. I never get mail anymore. I haven’t gotten a package since—I don’t know—Friday.

maybe I can start posting a photo here and there of my new backyard…the owner of our new home planted a whole “English Garden”…we are not sure what all the plants are, but some of you can help us know. Thank Ceiling Cat we have a weekly gardener the is paid for by the owner so we are not ‘responsible’ for the garden…but we really, really like it!

Not sure I understand the first sentence, but I certainly do the second one and I so cherish all my furriend…and so hope they like me too…I am just a shy, scared adult shelter rescue cat hoping to tell my recovery story over time and also help others to tell theirs…sigh
