Monday Meowsie News…
Hiya! Savannah Here!
FIRST…KEEPING PAWS CROSSED AND SENDING HELPFUL PURRRS TO ALL OUR FURRIENDS, BIPEDS AND FAMILY IN THE CROSS HAIRS OF STORM SANDY
I have a very special biped niece living in Binghamton NY and she and her husband and family are in our thoughts constantly. They are expecting their first baby next March. Stay Safe Auntie Liz and Uncle Chris!
And I have Dad’s sister and husband in Philly…so hope they stay safe and dry too.
With so much happening today in the East Coast, I thought I would just share one new thing from this past week.
I discovered a really cool place I had not explored before…can’t believe I let this one slip past me…such an obvious choice for snooping!
I pretended I must have lost a toy behind this interesting piece of furniture…it has a ton of wires…must remember in case I want to go back for taste…and a bunch of other stuff with blinking lights.
…hmmmm….wonder where my special nip elephant got to….back here???…
…oh…maybe its over on this thingy that isn’t connected to anything else…I think it says something like Wii???…what heck is that about??…
…nope…the elephant nip toy isn’t back in this area…maybe over here where the music always comes from…
…nope…not back here at all…What Mom?…I was just lookin’ for my fave elephant nip toy…got a problem with that??..
Kind of dusty back here already Mom…just sayin’…
Paw Pats, Savannah

If you were like our little Sister Fidelma, you’s nibble and pull at all the “wonderful” wires and possibly get the whole thingy down! 😉
Take care,
Pit
no, no…not me…I don’t chew wires or even shoelaces…maybe because I am older, I am 5…and because I don’t think I had a very playful kittenhood…sigh
Well, Savannah, we hope that little Sister Fidelma will grow out of it when she gets older. Am sorry to hear you didn’t have a very playful kittenhood.
Btw, her “brother”, Mr. Pickwick [of course, he’s not her real brother] has had us really surprised lately: he can turn on the answering machine of our phone with his tail! That’s something, isn’t it?
That is a very talented cat
taletail! Did you know that Quill’s tail got so big it actually asked to have it own day to post on Quill’s blog, have you ever heard of such a thing?? You can read it here: http://housecatconfidential.blogspot.com/2012/10/mr-tail-tuesday.htmlYou have visited me for a while, and I just ‘followed’ you blog even though it is not an “anipal” or “paw blog”. Your photos look wonderful and my Mom is amazed at someone with your travels now living in TEXAS! What a change! And my Mom knows Texas a bit cuz she was born there like a hundred years ago! MOL
Hi Savannah,
Thanks for following my blog. You’re right, of course, it’s not an “anipal” or “paw blog”, but quite a few times I’ve blogged about my four-legged friends – as you possibly have seen. So, once in a while you might find something really interesting. 😉
And your mom knows Texas, then. Great!
Btw, I like it there, even with the heat and humidity.
Take care, and again thanks for following my blog,
Pit
P.S.: I like your blog a lot, especially your style. 🙂
Why thank you for such kind compliments. I try to make my blog interesting, fun and also thought provocative when I find something I really want to meow about. I really like your photos so following you is easy as can be!
Ahahahah! Amazing last photo!
Oh thank you, I do like to pose in pink for Mom! Hope Bartholomew is well and Luan and the rest, paw pats, Savannah
Careful – your peeps will make you hook up all the electronics!
Luv,
Dave
MOL…Dad just finished doing that last weekend
Oh Savannah… those wires are not for nomming. Please don’t taste ’em. And whatever you do… don’t pee on ’em! purrs
Nerissa from Nerissa’s Life
no worries Nerissa, I don’t chew or pee out of box! I was just being snoopy.
You should of given it a dust wiff ya tail Savvy..MOL, hate to see what the dust is like behind our wires. Have a great day and wez too are saying prayers for every one 🙂 Luvz your Alf xx00x
Mollie and Alfie
Still finding lots of interesting new spots to explore huh Savannah? FUN! I hope your niece and everyone else in NYC and up north of us are OK. We made it through the night – 8 inches of rain and 70mph winds but lots of places had it worse. Our purrayers are with EVERYONE as we all deal with the mess Sandy is causing. Have a super Tuesday!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Wow the last picture is great!!! Now I know who I should call if we have the next compawter crash :o)
We hazzes a Goddaughter in New York state, but she’s in Albany so we think they’re okay there. Such an awful storm!
I’m not interested in chewing stuff neither, Savannah. There are cords aorund but they don’t smell good AT ALL, not even in my new food-alert state!
You have a good night Spitty. We are keeping up on blogger furriends and Twitter anipals via twitter FB and blogs. Better than the news!
You did very good back there!!! We are all purring and praying for everyone dealing with evil Sandy!
same here and we have close family in Philly
You are getting very brave, you’re becoming quite the explorer.
heh…heh…yup…Dad didn’t know…he does now MOL
What a great hidie spot! Hope your furmily are alright in the storm! 🙂

no problem here we are on the west coast near San Francisco. How is Mom’s job?
Mummy says her job is tiring. She is doing a 45 hour wheek so the time she is home she spends with us. Today work sent her home cos she had the flu and she slept all day, wasting valuable cuddle time! 🙂
xxxx
oh dear! THE FLU! Ugh…we hope it passes us by this year. At least Mummy knows when she isn’t working or sick, she must spend cuddle time with you guys, paw pats for all, Savvy
Looks like a spot designed specifically for cat investigation. Cool of mom to make that for you 😀
should be OK as long as Dad doesn’t read this post…he doesn’t know I was back there…heh…heh
But did you find it in the end??
oh yeah, never lost it…but needed an excuse in case Mom caught me with all those wires…which she did…My nip elephant is on my upstairs scratch post, nice and safe…purrrrr
Savvy, that’s an excellent spot to go exploring! Prolly like ten times a day…at least!
just found it…pawsome!!!
Don’t bite the wires, Savvy…you will get VERY curly fur!

PS Mummy Janey is worried about the ferals who have no where to stay safe from the hurrycane.
I know, we are too. Even for the kitties who have homes, but whose “owners” let them out in bad weather.Being a feral cat is not a safe life. Our hearts hurt thinking about them. And I don’t really ever chew anything, not even shoe laces so I think I am safe from the wires, but thank you for warning me.
Oh dear, Savannah, that is one spot we think you need to stay away from. Any time we go near all the big mess of wires, we hear that NO NO word. Just be careful. Maybe that elephant is under the bed:)
All paws crossed for your family and for all our pals in the path of Sandy.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Mom watched me. And I don’t ever chew anything, not shoe laces, not my toys…well, maybe a tine nibble here and there on a toy or two…but I am really not a chewy cat, but thank you for caring and warning me.
I hope all the folks on the east coast will be safe from the storm. You are a thoughtful kitty:) Your adventure thru the wires looks very interesting. What an explorer you have become sweet Savannah! Nose kisses for ya!
I am getting so brave, huh?
Savannah! You have to stay away from those wires! You could be hurt!!!! We are praying for your friends and all of our friends all along the East Coast
Gosh thanks Cody for the warning. I was just telling the OP Pack that I am not a chewy cat. I don’t chew anything, never have at least not at the shelters or here. But Mom and Dad are already thinking about how they can hide all that
sh_ah, stuff from me and Mom hates looking at it anyways. Oh the joys of moving and having to give up a really really nice media cabinet with doors and stuff…sigh
