Thursday Is For Thankfulness…
Hiya! Savannah Here!
Mouses, can you believe another Thursday is here already???
I have decided to join the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop today…
This Blog Hop is hosted by Pepsi Smart Dog.
I have already posted something today, but it was a REBLOG from my Mal Pal Rumpy’s feline sibling, June Buggie…and he had something to say today that I thought was really impawtant. So in case you missed my earlier post, click here, and go see what June Buggie had to say.
Now, let me share some of my thoughts about what I have to be ever so thankful for…
First, Mom and Dad are home, with ME, and we have our tree decorated…I made sure it was safe for the ornaments by testing underneath…Can you see me????
…how ’bout now?…see me now??…
…now you can see me, huh?…
…I declare this tree inspection is complete…ready for ornaments!
So I am really thankful I have this furrever home for this Christmas. Last year, I was just a “foster cat” during all of December. But this year…this home is MINE, MINE, MINE!!!
I am also very thankful that Dad and Mom still volunteer at my former shelter home Kitty Corner. I don’t even mind when on Thursdays they come back from cleaning KC and smell like the other cats. I know they are just making those kitties feel as special as they can, just like they did for me before they took me to foster.
Something else to be thankful for is that my very good furriends, My Three Moggies, SAVED their blog!! AND, their Mum had an operation and she is home, doing very well, now being tenderly cared for by the 3 Moggies…of course, Archie (isn’t he cute!)…is keeping her the warmest ‘cuz he has lots…ummmm..ahhh…oh dear…how shall I say this???…koff, koff…well, there is a bit more of him than the two young boys so he can keep Mum even warmer…whew….hope I missed offending him…
My other thankful thought is that my Champion Jetty’s feline sibling, Puffy, is no longer in any pain. And I am thankful for Puffy that his furrever home was with Miss Lori, his Mom, who kept her promise to Puffy and his brother Fluffy (he crossed to the Bridge earlier this year) that they would live like Princes, never go hungry again and always be warm and safe and that she would be right there with them at the end…and she was for both of them. Run free Puffy and play with Fluffy…
Hope you spend a couple of minutes thinking about your thankful thoughts today…
Paw pats, Savannah

Firstly we are excited to see how your tree is going to be decorated and have a picture of you by it :-). Secondly wow you are a lucky one finding a fur ever home and we are so glad you did and you landed we super slaves we mean humans xxx. Thirdly lovely of you to mention Puffy as we thought about the fur all this week 😦 and agree with June buggie’s post about pets and Christmas. Finally thank you for mentioning me the big boned fur ball with mum 24/7 at the moment as she finally needs me for once to help her :-). Mum was in agony last night but after some painkillers calmed down and got some sleep. Overall she is making good recovery :-). Xxxx

hey Charlie Rascal, don’t you think I was pretty thorough making sure the tree was ready for ornaments?? Wait ’til you see it finished!
You did a great job with the tree, Savannah! I liked what June Buggie had to say so much that I wrote some thoughts on the same subject for my newsletter.
oh great Sparkle, I must read it as I think the topic is really impawtant
Darling, One day, will you explain Blog Hop to me? Also, I am trying sooooooo furry hard to understand your comment yesterday about education and not being able to park cars in San Francisco that my brain is about to ‘splode from trying. Heeeellllllp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. XOXOXO
Well, Spitty, I sort of ‘get’ blog hop…so that will be a good chat….as for my comment, purrlease pretend I never said it, ‘Kay? I sort of recall context and seemed funny at the time, but confused myself on second reading…chalk up to Mom is older than dirt
We just got a makeover for Christmas. Check it out now.
I did! I totally luvluvluv it! I am gonna do a whole makeover after the New Year, but I really like my new Holiday banner Zoolatry made for me
Hey Savvy, Your Champion here. Hi Miss Linda.
First, you were so cute under the tree. We saw you, peeking out here and there!
Thank you so much for remembering Puffy and sharing his badge and some memories. Miss Susan who visited your blog stopped by to leave a thoughtful comment which meant so much.
You are such a great BFF, we’re so lucky to have you, your Mom and Dad in our lives now.
Sending Jetty kisses, JJ hugs and ear scritches from Mom. xoxoxo
no prob guys, we are here for you for sure…and you know Miss Susan Mullen, does not seem to have a bloggy, but she has been following me since almost the first…she is really special, so glad she visited you
You have much to be thankful for, Savannah! We’re glad you have a furever home now.
why thank you so much and I am one fortunate ladycat for sure
I send you a star RIGHT now! You a star to me always. And bewteefuls too. xoxoxox
oh Katie Isabella, how can I thank you…I don’t know what I did wrong…but no one returned my star award…and I don’t care about the “award” part…but did I do something to offend???…bummer…maybe I just messed up in how I passed it forward…but you are so gracious…ummmm..so how can I get the star you just gave me…sorry, we are confused
oh Katie Isabella, thank you thank you…I have to admit I have been a little hurt about the star award thingy and no one giving back to me…I was taking it down today, but if I can figure how to add one from you, I may leave it up.At least then I will have 2 stars. paw hugs, Savannah
Whoa Savy, you must come visit our house and show us how to inspect the tree! You were so good we almost didn’t see you do it. We hope you have a very happy Friday. Nosetaps and headbumpies from all of us at Prancer Pie.
thanks so much efurryone…I apologize I have not been regular visiting…no more excuses…I just have to spend time to get all caught up…a couple of more marathon sessions and we should be good, paw pats, Savannah and Mom Linda
oh thank you Prancer, Princeton, Precious and Princess! I send you headbumpies too! I thought I did a good job making sure it was all ready for the ornaments
Lots of good things to be thankful for. I’m thankful I met you.
Oh Cat! Right back at you…purrlease purrlease…help us get back to Twitter…we find it a much more ummmm….forgiving community…just sayin’
awwww…shuffles paws…blushing…and I am so thankful I met you. I know you and TW can help us get with it on Twitter, we wanna be like you CK. We really like it lots. And my Mom is gonna try to do people talk with TW soon about Twitter. Wait ’til you see the wreath Mom bought me today…you are so gonna luvluvluv it!!
I am thankful you are home too and that you started blogging. The blogosphere is a better place with you delivering smiles.
why Brian, you and Mr Terry just brought leaky eyes to Mom…she thinks we have disappointed followers, visitors, commenters…I have fewer of all…and we think it is because when we moved, we got so far behind visiting everyone, we can’t catch up. Mom and I tried really hard to pawticipate in the Twitter Santa Paw Pawty and we failed. We donated, but we wanted to pawty. We luvluvluv this paw blog, Twitter community. Oh Mouses…I sound like I am whining…thank you for your appreciation, paw pats Savvy
Savvy, we are so glad that your home is yours yours yours! You’re a very good tree inspector!
oh yes, did you see how much better it looked once I tidied up under it, checked the light switch and stuff? I’ll show some pics later
Those sure are pawsome things to be thankful for!
thank Maxwell and Faraday and Allie, I think so for sure
you are a very sensitive and wise kitty Savannah. Like you, we try to be thankful every day
why thank you Cody, I try to be
Yes indeed, you have so much to be thankful for, Savannah, and it’s good that you recognize it. I didn’t realize that you had so recently been a foster kitty. You must have worked your considerable charms because obviously your pawrents couldn’t resist you.
And sometimes, yes, we have to be thankful even that our friends have crossed the Bridge, especially if they have been suffering.
thank you Miss Wendy. ANd yes, my first Got’Cha Day is Jan 3, 2013!! Exciting, huh? And Puffy and Fluffy were both well loved by Miss Lori and Jetty and JJ
Hi again, I just wanted to apologize as I saw the “Wendy” and assumed you were Miss Wendy from Wendy’s LOL SPot. Mouses! am I embarrassed. I am so purrleased you dropped by Dante to visit. I have to tell you that my Mom is in love with you. One of her 3 before me cats, Popcorn, looked so much like you…you can see him on the page on my blog called “OTRB”. He had floofy tufts between his toes like you, and the tufts in his ears…and the same kind of lion mane around his neck…he was a feral cat Mom and Dad tamed and brought inside. He was not a Maine Coon Cat, but they always thought he might have some in his background. He was large, his largest weight was 18 lbs but he had to slim down to like 14. He was much loved by Mom for sure, he was her main lap cat. Paw pats, Savannah
This is so inspiring! We’ve been very, very lucky cats and it’s sad to realize there are so many others worrying about where they’ll sleep, where their food will come from and if they’ll ever have a loving “furrever” home. (We like that. It’s not a home without some cat fur!) We must do more to help them.
hi guys!! waves paw…I haven’t seen you for a while in my email…I’ll hop over to see what I have missed, paw pats, Savannah
RIP, Puffy and Fluffy. I am so glad your Mom took such good care of you. And thanks, Savannah, for passing the word. Puffy looks so wise in the memorial photo. I’m sure he and Fluffy taught Jetty some really important things.
oh yes Miss Susan. And Jetty and Miss Lori have a really lovely memorial for Puffy to day
