What a pawty…all my furriends are so incredibly(VBP) enthusiastic (VBP)!!!…And Loud!!
We are still waiting for the final total comments as we prepare this post…but Mom and I decided to take it easy today, Friday, January 4th…we had great plans to post all the extra cards, money (yes, I got MONEY), e-cards, etc….but Mom (sends direct message to Mom via ‘eye contact’) said she was “too tired”…WHATEVER!!
So…this is just an easy day for us…thought you might enjoy a couple of photos not published yet…and then on Saturday…we are gonna post all my other e-cards and stuff…hope that is OK…And purrlease, purrlease forgive me for not visiting any furriends today…I tried to make sure I replied to every comment…and Mom promises I can visit tomorrow and over weekend…
You all are the bestest ever…thank you so much for making this adult rescue shelter cat’s First Gotcha Day Pawty such a memorable (VBP) event! I am honored by your commitment to adult cat and dog rescue and adoption.
Basically, this is what I did to take a break today…when the sun came out…
…a ladycat has to catch some sun puddles when they show up, ya know??…
Ok Mom!…I am coming back to the pawty…ok, ok…sheeesh…what a nagging Mom!!

Are you a lucky cat. Sun puddles are super, but unfortunantely our sun hasn’t shown up lately, so no puddles for me. Enjoy… but don’t get burn 🙂

Hello Savvy Darling! Even though I was a tiny bit late last night it WAS well before midnight so I hope I squeaked in under the commentathon deadline even though the wonky timestamp made it look like it was 5 a.m. or something! Honest—I wasn’t **that** late! 😉 I am just the eensiest bit hungover today–you was pouring stiff ones over there! I guess that’s how you East Bay kittehs roll, MOL!!!

Whoa! Sorry I missed most of the pawty. I do try to visit every day and catch up when I can. If you’re following Pearl, send her a DM. When you’re as popular as she is, you sometimes miss Tweets. I look forward to your posts and then your 2nd Gotcha Day pawty. I promise I’ll be there. My Gotcha Day is the 29th but I don’t have a pawty. I had a huge Nipclub pawty for my 5th, which raised a lot of money for A Call 4 Paws. Enjoy the sun.
