Well, just when I thought things might get a bit quiet what with all this heat and whatnot…I get a surprise…the heat clearly is not bothering these birds!
Yes, that’s right…I have birds taunting me AGAIN!!
…what the???…is that bird crazy out in this heat??
A bird! Get down low…
…and then he starts hippity hopping toward ME!!…
Doesn’t he know I’m here?
…he moves right past my Big Screen Bird TV…

…aiieee!!…so exciting…my door is cracked and I think…oh yes…he is close enough to catch a whiffie of him!

Really and truly…the only reason Leo can’t share my castle is because of ME…I am very afraid…I know he just wants to meet me, play with me…but I just can’t bring myself to do that…so I am starting to hide UTB more and more…and not play with Mom and I don’t sleep with her and Dad right now…it isn’t Leo’s fault I am not able to have him join our furramily…he is very polite and loving…and he does luvluvluv to play!

Isn’t bird TV just the best?!?! We have a big tree outside the bedroom window and its full of birds every morning. All five boys get up on the window ledge and the bed and are transfixed!!! Our Jimmy is a major chatterer and tries to lure the birdies in with his calls…never works though – LOL!
Savvy, those burds are CRAZY. You could almost have reached out and patted them on the head they were so close! We are purring and praying for Leo to get a forever home. We’ll tweet about him again!

Wow! Sweet Savannah you have two burds and they are good sized ones too. We think you are a very good teaser when it comes to those burdies. Your mom captured some great pictures of you talking to those burds. Hugs and nose kisses
Those birds do tease! Sometimes they sit on the top of our chimney and have meeting – the noise echoes down and Mulberry gets very cross about them.

We’re still crossing our paws that Leo’s castle search pays off soon. we wish we lived nearer, because he and Newton would make great bookends. The head peep will keep spreading the word, especially when she talks to anyone on the west coast.

We honestly thought Leo would have his forever home by now with so many people spreading the word. So sorry it’s taking a while Savvy – hang in there – we know Leo’s angel is out there somewhere!
