My good furriend in England, Basil. let me know that sweet MJ (aka Mary) has a clear set of blood test results for her kidneys…now they just need to make sure her insulin is adjusted…and she will be ready for a FOSTER/FURREVER home!!
…and lastly but far from least…I received my Cathy Keisha “personal favorites” CD which I won in a hard fought auction…WOO HOO!!…whenever Mom Linda leaves the house she puts CK’s, who is of course my BFGF, CK on and I just chill’ax and snooooze to the toooooonnnnzzzz…..

…so being honest…I picked out some older photos ‘cuz the garden is not doing anything particularly spectacular…and we don’t really know how much longer we will have it frankly…the lady owner is gonna raise our rent…sigh…really a bummer…we have loved living here…sigh…hope you enjoy the color-ama…

That is the best happy dance from any kitty we have seen anywhere in the entire universe! Leo looks a little grumpy in his photo, but it is sure nice that he is healthy and has his very own castle. Glad you like the CD. Sorry you had to wait for it. We had it made but TW couldn’t haul her butt to the P.O.
You don’t have rent control in SF? When the peeps owned their house, they could only raise the rent 4% a year, while taxes when up 20%, which is why they sold. If the landlord didn’t live in the building, it was rent controlled. TW always jokes that when they turn 65, they’ll just move across the street into the Senior Center. Heh heh. The mayor even told them he’d get them in without waiting.
oh purrlease…you are gonna have to wait for the 3 way tunnel until Mom can find a cheap way to send it…LOL ANd nope not rent control in Walnut Creek. bummer…we have to wait and see…Mom and Dad talked about just moving into a small apt but they don’t wanna do that just yet as they can still go to the gym…LMFTO
I hope you can stay, your garden is so pretty and would hate for you to go through the stress of moving again xx

not sure yet Austin, but if the owner of our townhome raises our rent we can’t afford to stay…we pay lots already and Mom and Dad are retired. We still have like TONS to be thankful for…purrrs, Savannah

we just have to wait a few days until they decide how much they will raise our rent. If we can afford it we will stay but they promised us two months ago we would have same rent, for at least one more year maybe even a two year lease. We were excited and stopped looking…now there are fewer places for us to chose from if we do have to move; paws crossed we don’t

we moved Sept 1 last year, but we are renting (leasing). We do not own this nice town home so the owner can increase what we pay per month when we renew our contract for another year. hope not, but she has said she most likely will after promising two months ago that we would have another year at same price. paw crossed we will be Ok. We are not young and moving is costly and a lot of work…sigh…I am sure all will be fine

oh we have a red one too, it just is not blooming as much…not pink though. Nothing new has turned up in a couple of weeks, I think Mom is going to do some “trimming” so some of those roses will bloom more, paw hugs

The heat wave that swept the States sure didn’t help the gardens any. Your garden pictures are still lovely though. Next year our HuMom needs to get off her butt and improve our garden. In years past we’ve had hanging baskets of different colored fuchsia on the front and back porches and planted impatiens in the shaded flower beds. Of course HuMom just followed the GrandHuMom’s directions so maybe she can blame her mom for the lack of flowers this year.
We hope your landlady changes her mind about the rent when she realizes she’ll have to find new tenants. Finding people who treat your property like it is their own is difficult. Hopefully she’ll see having you and the ‘rents stay makes good financial sense.
We are glad you have your castle back and your “servents” as well. Plus, Leo has his own now. You must be very proud of your parents. They’ve really gone above and beyond. They are an inspiration to cat lovers everywhere.

Oh Savvy I’m sorry you’re going to have to move – I know you’ve loved watching the birds and having such a beautiful garden there plus all the great views out the windows! I bet you can find another place that’s just as nice. Changes aren’t ever fun BUT I remember when you moved there your parents were very careful that you felt safe and secure the whole time……..you’re in good hands Savvy!!! I’m happy Leo’s in his new home and that MJ is getting ready to find hers. Things are pretty happy in blogville for now….
