Savannah's Paw Tracks

Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

Thursday Purrsday…

Where to start…lots of purring going on around here…Mom has been home now for 2 whole weeks…and I am finally starting to chill’ax a bit like I used to do…check out our little love session on the couch…sigh…heaven!!  (remember, cursor over photos for captions)

Yes, I have been allowing Mom to touch my toesies…ever so briefly…and just the other day….she actually had the nerve to give my pink jelly bean toe pads a fast smoochie…my hind toes on one paw…so she was just out of reach of my ‘ever ready’ front paws…which I use  whenever I need to smacky paw her or Dad…it made her happy  to smoochie my toesies…so what the heck….heh…heh

She is even getting more and more tummy rubs which I think I may be starting to like…sort of…maybe…

And now that Mom and Dad have this new consulting project (yep, they are even going to make some green papers to keep me and The Kid Sage in stinky goodness)…they realize how much they need my snoopervision.  I just know they will not be able to be successful without me keeping a close eye on them and this work stuff.  Meeting supervision and making sure all the papers are in order is sort of a little ‘expertise’ I have…

Kind of messy Mom

Kind of messy Mom

Let me tidy this stack

Let me tidy this stack

Let Dad help, Ok?

Let Dad help, Ok?

Dad, you need to help Mom. got it?

Dad, you need to help Mom. got it?

Ok, think I can delegate the rest to them

Ok, think I can delegate the rest to them

But, I am going to keep my eyes on them

But, I am going to keep my eyes on them

Honestly, a cat’s work is never done when the humans are supposed to cooperate and work together AND make sure I and The Kid Sage get fed right on time.  I just have to purr though because I know they need me…they are so cute in our meetings…*MOL*

Well I hope you all have a pawsome Thursday Purrsday and that you take time to ponder all the many things you have to purr about.

Maybe that long trip away from you by the Mom and Dad made you realize how special those tummy rubs can be. Such good news to hear, Savannah.

    Happy Thursday Purrsday!

Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  4. Let me tell you, Savvy. Tummy rubs are next to heaven, but that toe touchin stuff, well, not my fave either.

Project management is an important job. Keep up the good work!

  5. Mom’s getting a little greedy, isn’t she. She wants the head. She wants the tummy. And now she wants the paws too? If you give her those, she’ll have the nail clipper out because you can say Stunning Keisha. Keep your eyes on her.

  6. You’re a pawesome snoopervisor, Savannah. We hope you’re getting a percentage, since you’re subcontracting part of their job for them!

  10. Tummy rubs are the BEST! So glad you’re gettin’ some of those, these days.

  11. delegating stuff is the most important part of work. Only a cat can do that, you need a lot of “felinesse” for doing a good job. Have a super thursday!

  12. It’s hard work keeping humans in line Savvy. I have to give the big bed a good scratch before Meowm will jump up and feed me! She grumbles about it being 6 in the morning which I have no idea what the problem is with that!

  13. Haha! What would they do without you!
It’s funny, my one kitty Winter loves belly rubs, but KiKi, its all how she feels at that moment. Usually she will let me for a minute or so, then she digs her claws in and runs away as if to say, she doesn’t like it! But she does! She is just in denial BOL!

If I didn’t snoopervise, NOTHING would get done.

  17. Seriously savvy humans need constant helpz from the felinez…they slackz off and goofz around too much…I let them kiss my tootsiez but not pick me up fur long…they unnerstand and love me just the same as picklez who is a cuddle tart! mum can carry her roun all day…she just goes wiff it……..MOL MOL paw pats Dinnermintz xx

  18. Snoopervising is important work. You’re smart to keep an eye on them. Left on their own, they will get nothing done. I know this from experience….

    Love and licks,

  19. Well Savvy I do hope you’re on the payroll since you’re providing guidance to your Mom and Dad now on their project! I’m glad you’re getting the attention you deserve now that they’re back home though – tummy rubs and toesie massages are impawtant!

    Hugs, Sammy

  20. I hope you get extra treats as a thank you for all your hard work!!

  21. I’m glad things are going so well at home, Savannah! Of course the humans need your supervision! Who knows what would happen if they were left on their own?

  22. Oh boy do they need help, how to humans manage without us eh?? Snoopervise with a firm paw Savvy!! Oh and BTW brave work with the toesies!

  23. Those hoomans are lucky to have you around to snoopervise!

    Happy Thursday

    Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil

  24. Hehehe yes you gotta keep an eye on them, hope you get some more loving to sweetie,xx Speedy

  25. Our Mommy has been kissing your toesies on our puter screen for some time now. MOL!
    Great snoopervision work, Savy.
Hope you have a great Thursday!

  26. Isn’t it so hard keeping the humans on track? I find it so tiresome some days. But hey it’s our job to supervise. I do the same here. XOXO – Bacon

  27. The humans are hopeless and useless without us kitties. We have no idea how kittieless humans manage at all. Keep up the good work, Savvy. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Waving paw...HI!...what'd 'cha think...??
