Food Hog…Busted Again!!
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
I must say, it is actually very amusing watching The Kid Sage get busted every now and then. It usually is over her constant search for food…soft food, treats, human chicken dinners…you name it…she believes her name is written all over each and every morsel.
I can tell, she’s behind me trying to excavate under the pillow
Now I don’t care for human food and I am happy to wait for my brekkies and dinner…but *looks over shoulder then whispers*…I can’t say I mind so much when The Kid Sage wrestles our morning treat bags out from under the pillow where Mom L ‘thinks’ she is hiding them.
The Kid Sage (aka TKS)…tries to be discreet…”surely, no one will see me doing this…”

TKS: “Yes, I have my paws on the gold now…”
What do you mean??? PAWS UP???!!! I’m innocent, I swear!!
TKS: “Whew! almost caught in the act…but I am not called Sneaky Sage for nothing…”

…TKS: “…there must be more…”

TKS: “…I wonder if there is even MORE???”
Oh, hiya Mom L, this was just lying here, really…honest…
TKS: ” I just know Mom L keeps like a TON of our fave treats under that pillow…”
Mom L saw me again, right?..MOUSES!!!
And here is the treasure trove TKS searches for…every single morning…to the delight of us all.
NOMMIES!!!
TKS: “Ok, I totally confess…I have a small addiction to high calorie, yummy tasting GREENIES!! I have been TOTALLY busted…there is even an iPad video…sigh”
With TKS at work, we usually get our treats earlier than planned…heh…heh

Wow our Mom could never do that because Anne would’t give her a moment of rest! Mom keeps my treats in the refrigerator or I would have them on the floor and the Girls would eat them 🙂

Treats under the pillow. We have never heard of such a wonderful thing. If our mom did that she wouldn’t get a moment of sleep. We’d be trying to dig those out all night long. We hardly ever get regular cat treats, but when they are in the house, mom keeps them in the fridge. It’s the only place she can be sure they are safe from our chow hound, Ocean.

We were told that teeth were hidden under pillows for the tooth fairy, but we didn’t know about treats ! Mom L has got a magic pillow !! Purrs

Well it seems like Hitch isn’t alone in his enjoyment of the hunt for the elusive treat package. He’s got a couple of fans here because he manages to claw/bite them open about half the time and then the yummy mess is shared by all. So enjoy Savannah! There are some pluses to having a younger sib.
Ha! Those bags seal up pretty tight, Sage. Mom keeps my morning treat on the high dresser. I can’t even reach the low dresser, so ugh. I just have to wait till she gets up to make her tea.

MOL! We have a food hog, too. Ashton shows up everywhere there is food, whether it’s for humans for cats. She isn’t picky. But she didn’t know that there were treats under the pillows! She’s sending a thank you wink to Sage and is off to check under our pillows right away.
Morning treats are fun……you girls are getting to be fast friends…..it makes my heart happy to see that!

Oooh – a combination of the two methods my two are using. Diving into caves is my little one’s favourite way of finding out – and using his paws to get something hidden is my tom’s favourite way – Sage, you are a very inventive little cat!
