How To Have A Sibling And Never Meet…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Well, got’cha with that title, huh?! I know, I know…some of you have been hoping the “Pets Add Life” feelings would grab hold of me…and I would see my good furriend Texas and his new sister, Kitshka, and watch Jazz Cat Jay learn to be furriends with Miss Satchie…and VOILA! SAVANNAH WILL WHINE TO GET A SIBLING KITTY!…HEH…HEH..so not happening!

I GOT AROUND THAT URGE…AND STILL GET TO HAVE A BROTHER…

Remember when Zee and Zoey had that Cat Ruler of the World election? If you recall, Katie, of Glogirly fame, won…

…and she was running to benefit Blind Cat Rescue.

Well, I was just pawing around the Blind Cat Rescue site, looking at some of the kitties…and one cute Tuxie boy caught my attention…I meowed for Mom and Dad…and we all met Boots together…

“Boots is a nice fellow who is FIV+

He was found as a stray and the people did not feel safe in keeping him with their other cats (they apparently are alpha type cats who they felt would fight with Boots) so they asked us to take him.
He is very sweet, a little shell shocked but I think he will do ok.
We recently removed his one bad eye. He is recovering nicely from surgery.”

At that time, he had only one supporter. So we all continued to paw around and we learned we could sort of “adopt” Boots, for $30 USD/month, we get to contribute to his quality of life by helping make sure there are funds there to take care of him. He now has like 5 supporters…isn’t that pawsome??!

So I DO have a fur sibling, I probably won’t ever have to meet him but I can love him from afar and help make sure he is loved, has a warm place to live and gets lots of scritches and stuff…I will probably send him Christmas gifts too…makes me one purring happy ladycat…

…isn’t he just the sweetest Tuxie?…

And I just luvluvluv his little black button on his left lip…

That’s my new sibling bro’ Boots…a very, very special addition to our family…and I don’t have to share my toys or Mom’s time with him…works out pretty good, don’t ya think???

Monday Meowsie Belated News……Sorry

Hiya! Savannah Here! (finally)

Well, by now you all know the news…I am alone, with Auntie Shannon when she isn’t working (like she is gone for days at a time…ok…maybe a few hours…but still..)…what is a ladycat to do without her staff…

I am so stressed

Let me get you caught up on a couple of things…most impawtantly…

My new furriends, Trouble and Mischief, from Decca”s Cats, have passed an award to me…they know me from Twitter , they are @DeccaCats.

I am very apologetic because Mom just kept putting it off, ya know, letting me THANK THEM for thinking of me….sheeesh…she was probably doing something with that paws-pert thingy of hers!

Anyway, Trouble and Mischief passed the One Sweet Blog award to me, which I already have…but I want to let you all know about them in case you haven’t visited them before.

I would like to officially thank them and of course, pass this lovely and fun award to ANYONE who doesn’t have it yet…it looks good on almost any page layout…give it a try…

And…one more award passed along to me by special furriends…Alfie and Mollie so thoughtfully passed the Seven Things About Me award and of course, I already had received it….but they wouldn’t know ‘cuz…koff, koff..ahem…no blaming…BUT…MOM FORGOT to post it on my blog page!

Anywho…I let Alf know I had it already…and WHAT A GENTLECAT HE IS!!! He said...”Savvy (he calls me that)…you take the Family of Bloggers award ‘cuz you donz haz that one…I wantz yuz to have one yuz donz haz…”

Not An Easy Sunday…No, Not At All…

Hiya! Savannah Here (barely)!!

So here I am …just kicked back last night…watching a bit of TV when I am not “resting” my eyes (wink, wink)…

They think I don’t know what’s up

…and what do I see Dad bring in from the garage???…

I know what one that big one means

They are gonna be gone a long time…probably about 5 years…AND…they are gonna be outta the country…whatever the flipping heck that means…MOUSES!!!

peeEss: Message from Mom…Savvy and I have labored long and hard to try to schedule 9 posts so she doesn’t miss letting her furriends know she is around. But, please don’t blame her because I am not home to help her visit you all who are so kind to always drop by and read and leave a comment when you can. I will try to do some visits for her from my iPad, but it is an unknown. Please, everyone, look out for Savannah whilst we are away…she is our heart kitty for sure. Scritches from Mom for All
