Monday Meowsie News…Leo Is Looking
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!
ummm…shuffling paws…well, this is really hard to say…but Leo needs to find his own furrever castle. I am just to afraid to let him in the same room. And Leo, well, he is such a great mancat about all this…but he deserves a better quality of life than having to stay in his hotel suite most of the time.
The only time he can have the run of the house is when I take naps in my master bedroom tent…and truth to tell…I figured out that when I do that…I get shut in the room…and now I won’t go there anymore to take my daily naps. I am now staying downstairs…so Leo can’t be let out of his room.
This is not the quality of life Leo deserves and I want to get my routine back so I don’t have to keep going UTB if I am shut in our bedroom.
We all have very leaky eyes…but we are launching today a search for Leo to find his furrever castle.
I have created a Page at the Top of My Blog…”Leo’s Castle Search”… click HERE…I had Mom and Dad put up information that is impawtant to help Leo find his furrever castle…like I found mine.
Here are a few impawtant specifics he needs in his furrever castle…more are noted on his PAGE at the top of my blog:
- Must be an indoor cat ONLY…he has NEVER been outside…he is about 4-6 years old; he is micro-chipped; all shots etc. current
- It must be within a car drive from the San Francisco Bay Area…it can be in Southern Oregon, Nevada, or Arizona perhaps; but Northern California is our target search
- No little children under age of 12
- Preferably, calm home with one stay at home human: works from home/retired/etc.
Leo is FULLY RECOVERED from his episode with hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver syndrome). He loves his food…is an excellent player and has never ever had any issues with litter box, etc.
However…his Vet prefers that he not be subjected to any excessive stress right now…as it can be a trigger for this syndrome. Because of this, we do not want him to be transported a long distance.
We have had help from some good furriends in getting this started…and all of us working to find Leo his Furrever Castle are from all over the globe…this is the brilliance of social media…we believe that Leo is only 6 furriends away from making his contact with his Furrever Castle.
Even if you are in South Africa, New Zealand, Nova Scotia, Ontario CN, Sweden, UK, or East, South, North, Midwest, etc USA…you may know someone…who knows someone…who knows someone else…who can help Leo find his furrever castle…we are purraying for the ” Six Degrees of Separation” theory…
“Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of “a friend of a friend” statements can be made to connect any two cats in a maximum of six steps.”
…and we ask you to feel free to take any of the information, photos, videos from Leo’s page to include in a blog post, tweet about it, post it on your Face Book page…we need your help and are grateful we have so many of you to ask…thank you for sticking with me during the past two months.
It has been difficult to manage Leo’s care when he had a feeding tube in and also all the other stuff Mom and Dad are involved in for community volunteering and what not. So, Mom hasn’t been able to help me get ’round to visit lots. I am sorry. Once Leo has his furrever castle, I hope we can be back to normal soon.
…here are the photos we picked to help Leo’s search…they are on his Page too…
I guess that is enough Monday Meowsie News…it has us all wiping leaky eyes…but we hope we will soon have tears of joy when Leo gets that call from someone who wants to give him his furrever castle…and he does come with his “hope chest”…you can see what is in it on his page “Leo’s Castle Search”
