HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
I can only apologize for this post…Mom was desperate…I have not posted for a couple of days and she is convinced NO ONE will remember me…so she just had to do this post for Saturday Photo Hunt…COPPER…sigh….give me a break…just cuz she went to CAL in the 60’s…she just HAD to make me wear this stoopid hat…hope I don’t get caught by a real ‘coper’…

…and I am sure WordPress will now cancel my blog ‘cuz Mom Linda did not learn enough about using photos off Google…well…she did take notes…just can’t read her own handwriting…sheeesh!!!
We won’t be doing this again…using Google photos…we now know that it is not “free” and we need to learn how to find the source and ask permission…thank COD for Blog Paws Learning…WHAT??!!!…MOM!!! Who is at the door??? What do they want ????…MOUSES!!! They have nets and PTU’s…(wringing paws)
The ending in a later post…heh…heh…
What Mom??…oh…OK…you can have my post right now…
” Hi, Mom Linda here. First let me thank everyone who participated in the incredible Save Leo Campaign mounted by one of Savannah’s very best UK furriends and his sidekick…Alfie and Mollie. I was off to Blog Paws Conference when Miss Stella told me that she was going to do an auction and raffle to help support Leo’s medical costs; click HERE for the winners. I was flabbergasted and humbled all at the same time…and I could not do anything as I was traveling for a week. And Mollie sacrificed her very fave and special bra for this auction…what a girl furriend she is…

Savannah and I will have a proper post up next Thankful Thursday about all of this. Let me just update everyone on Leo. He is now back with us…living in Peter’s office…so he has company periodically all day. He is more energetic; but has nausea issues yet to deal with. He is still not eating on his own. Otherwise, he appears to not have any other underlying issues our vet or a radiologist can find through ultrasound. We are very hopeful that he will start eating on his own, but only time will tell.
I hate this tube…
bit more to the left
oh yeah..purrfect
Yup…this is good
Nice, thanks
Luvluvluv ya too
I will make sure Savvy can give you all much more news in the next week. She has so missed visiting all her furriends and she knows she has missed impawtant events and she is very upset with Mom Linda for failing to help her post more regularly and visit more often.
Please do not hold my, Mom Linda’s, failings against Savannah’s Paw Tracks. Savvy is still very committed to animal rescue and especially working hard to help all the adult cats, dogs, bunnies, horses, etc. who are in need of help…even though they are older than a year or so…they so deserve to have happy furrever homes…Savvy’s work has only begun. She has much in store to build her blog to help animal rescue over the next year. I, Mom Linda, hope you will all stick with her to see what she has up her tail…heh…heh”
…and this is what she thinks of having a temporary foster brofur…

Seriously…he’s back???
Sigh…we do have many challenges…but we are all committed to making sure Leo thrives.
Please stay tuned for more from Savannah…I am just overwhelmed with how much care Leo needs. He must be fed every 4 hours from 8 am to 8 pm. Making the mixture that can be fed through his feeding tube is a challenge for Peter and I as newbies to this level of care; we have never ever had to do this before for any of our cats nor Sibes. But Leo is such a great positive thinking kitteh…he purrs, then sleeps during feeding. He is a joy and we hope he can find a furrever home very soon once he is over this syndrome. We would love to keep him here…but Savannah is having many problems and we will not sacrifice her recovery progress after 17 months of hard work on her part. And Leo will have a purrfect home as our vet, Dr Ellis, who owns Civic Feline Clinic, and Leo’s shelter Contra Costa Humane Society will make sure of that.
For now, he is safe and loved with Savannah, Peter and me and everyone at Civic Feline Clinic and Contra Costa Humane Society…and all of the PAWSOME Savannah furriends who worked so hard on the SAVE LEO CAMPAIGN. Please take this lovely badge created by Savvy’s furriend Misaki and post it on your blog, or Tweet it or share it on your Face Book page. Help keep Leo’s challenges alive and help others learn about the dangers of Fatty Liver Syndrome in cats.

Ok Savvy…back to you...
Thanks Mom! So all I can say is…I am trying…but it is hard.
Paw Pats, Savannah
