My First Night Before Christmas…
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Well, as most of you know…at Christmas time last year I had only been with Mom and Dad for about 3 weeks and I was still their “Foster Cat”…and I spent a lot of time UTB back then AND Mom and Dad didn’t think they wanted a full time cat furramily member…so I didn’t have much interest in the Christmas tree.
FAST FORWARD TO THIS YEAR!!
I know this is my furrever home. My confidence keeps growing and I knew the Christmas tree was MY OUR tree…so first, I knew there were four ‘pretend’ prezzies under the tree…for my photo shoots and stuff, remember?… Mom and Dad don’t gift so I figured that was that, and no problem…really…
Well…all of a sudden stuff appeared under my our tree that had not been there before…and this year, I was not afraid of the tree!…so I checked the new stuff out…
…hmmmm…look at that…something new….
….oh…there’s more…nice paper…wonder if I can have a sniff…
…ummm…better make sure this is still my our tree…
…what’s that on the other side…MEOWSER!…this one is big!…
…now that’s an interesting smell…sniff, sniff…
…maybe I can tell more if I get a teensy bit closer…sniff, sniff…this underside is interesting…
…I gotta get under it to get a better whiff…snuffle, snuffle…kerchoo!!!..wipes nose with paw, sorry…
…well, I wonder who all those prezzies are for…If any are for me, then I need to get my claws ready…
…and once more from the other direction…gets those claws sharpened from a different angle…
…oh! Look up there on the mantle…there’s stuff in my stocking!…
What Mom ???…what do you mean “wait”????
Mouses!!!…sometimes Mom and Dad can be so intense (VBP)…sheesh…don’t you just hate it when they use that word “WAIT”??? Na’mean???
