Boldness Part Two!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know, I keep harping on the same old subject but come on my pals, how much more do I have to take in my own castle??!!

Banished from my own couch!

See that? There I am, forlorn, in a sun puddle on the FLOOR!!! Know why???

THAT’S WHY!!!! Kit Katie is takin’ over my place, using my special towel that Mom L puts there for ME in the Summer when I don’t need my blue afghan anymore. KK gets there first and stakes out a spot and I am left on the floor! I ask you, what’s fair about this??

Why only today, Mom L had to walk toward KK to get her to dash away. You see ever since Mom L and Dad P had to use so many meds on her draining eye, she has become hand shy again. So they are workin’ on her for that, but thankfully for now when Mom L approached MY COUCH KK ran. Then Mom L sat down and invited me up to my personal spot.

Finally I could settle in for my nice long morning nap downstairs, on MY COUCH, where it is cooler on this hot Summer day. Then I hear the softest paw pat on my nice cool towel. And I feel something moving slowly past me on MY COUCH. I peek open an eye and what do I see??!!!

The gall!! Sneak past me and steal my space!

And now let’s make matters worse. Check out this!!

And if this isn’t bad enough, I have also had to tolerate KK and TKS trying to sneak closer to my tent on my bed.

What? She couldn’t find another place to nap???

KK also comes right up in the morning when I get my morning snack along with TKS. KK acts like she is part of our family. What?? Did I just say that?? *slaps paw to forehead*—please tell me this ain’t so!

Good morning Princess Savvy. How was your treat?

So you see my life is becoming more and more intruded upon. Everywhere I got, KK wants to be right there and then, after she shows up, here comes TKS. Sheesh! What am I ever gonna do??

Now we are practically nose to nose!

As you can see in the photo above, KK was even bold enough this morning to turn around and face me—on MY COUCH!! *shudders* This is getting really hard to take my pals, really hard. What can I do??

PeeEss—Mom L here…Katie’s eye has apparently cleared up with the antibiotics so that her tear duct is no longer clogged. She still has her limp and gingivitis, but all in all this is the most healthy she has been since coming to us eleven months ago. For all intent and purpose Kit Katie is now home. For good.

The Kids Are Getting Bolder!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you know, I have been putting up with The Kid Sage for a few years now. She has learned that the left side of the couch in MINE!! And Mom L sits on the right side and no one sits between us ‘cuz sometimes I like to get close to her and get some brushies and chin rubs. That’s how it is in my castle and TKS has learned that. But now, this new kid Kit Katie (KK) is trying to undo all the training I have been giving TKS.

This is MY side of the couch!

You can see that KK has decided she can sleep on the couch which has been forbidden to TKS. But this new kid seems to think my rules don’t apply to her. Mom L put some pillows in the middle and gave KK a blankie on Mom L’s side of the couch hoping she would go over there and leave me in peace on MY side of the couch.

Well that works OK whenever I am using the couch. But you see I taught TKS that even when I am NOT using my side of the couch, it is to remain open just in case I wanna take a nap there. TKS understands and leaves it empty.

But KK just hasn’t learned about what part of the couch is MINE!.I caught her on MY SIDE and there on the side Mom L set up for her I find TKS!! What’s up with that? Something is mighty wrong with this picture, don’t you think so???

There KK is just as happy as a little clam on MY SIDE of the couch!! Why there is no space for me at all!! This couch is my special place to be near Mom L at night when we watch TV or read. It has been mine since I first arrived here in my forever castle.

If you have any ideas for how I can get KK to leave my side of the couch alone I sure would like to hear them in comments. I am just gobsmacked that these kids are getting so bold together. Do you think they are trying to gang up on me?? Take over my castle???

Monday Meowsie News

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Gosh, where to start???!! So much going on around here. Let me start with an updates from the past.

Do you remember our foster kittens from 2017? We had three siblings, Rocky, Chloe and Jessie. Well I have an update on Rocky, now Nick, and Chloe, now Nora. We know Jessie is fine but just do not have a recent update.

Here they are, Nick and Nora, together and snuggling just like when they left my castle in November, 2017.

Gotta luvluvluv the Happy Tails Endings! And here is another one for you. Remember one of the friendly adults cats Mom L pulled from our park colony? Her name from the feeders was “Whitey” because she has four white paws, BUT one paw had a little black tootsie. You can see her searching for her forever home in my link to a long ago Friday Memes.

Recognize her now?? The photos below are from her new forever Mom. She is now Whitney, and totally loving being an indoor cherished kitty.

Now how is that for Happy Tails Endings all around??

More news on my home front. My castle is being overtaken by some uppity brown tabby Kit Katie!! Just look at her! How much more intrusive on my castle can she be??

She has even become part of our morning routing with Mom L and Dad P. We all hang out on our bed while they watch the morning news, drink their coffee, read the paper etc. And now, KK takes over a WHOLE corner of the bed for herself!! Cheeky kid!!

Oh I luvluvluv this corner!! What? Oh, was this yours Princess Savannah?

Things are gonna have to come to a point soon. This KK kitty is just too intrusive. Why this morning, while I was quietly nibbling on my brekkies in our bedroom ( I like eating with Mom L and Dad P)—KK actually snuck in behind me and sniffed and snuffled my TAILEO while I was nibbling away!!! And no, there is no photo proof of this happening, but trust me, it DID!!

And there is even MORE! I have this very special sun puddle that occurs every Spring. It is on Mom L’s side of our bed, and I can lay on the floor rug in front of the balcony slider and have a lovely morning sun bath. WELL!!!

Sheesh!! Do I have a brown tabby shadow???

There KK is, right on my “six”! A Princess has no privacy nor privilege where this KK is concerned.

Last but not least in this Monday Meowsie News post, is my latest Paw It Forward project. Mom L was contacted by a neighbor across our water channel who has been caring for a sweet abandoned adult lady cat. The neighbor is so very allergic to cats. Even though she has tried desperately to be able to give this abandoned cat a home, she simply cannot do this any longer.

My name is Miss Kitty and I am searching for my forever home. Can you help me?

We are working our local rescue contacts and will keep you updated on Miss Kitty’s search for her forever home. And yes, those people loaded up two of the cats they liked best, and drove away leaving more than Miss Kitty to fend for themselves. Working to humanely care for and rescue abandoned community cats ROCKS!!!
