EB Feline Condition—Nature or Nurture?

HIYA!  SAVANNAH HERE!!

I am going to raise a concerning condition, found in some cats, but not all. For myself, I believe I have had it for a very long time. It comes and goes, but nonetheless, it appears to endure. For myself, I believe it is a “Nature” condition—meaning inherited from either side of my family. My readers must ask themselves, should they find the courage to speak about EB, whether or not is it “Nature” versus “Nurture” for themselves.

There is a clear sign, for me, when this condition is coming on. Some believe that I am in pain, and begging the human to leave me alone.

You really wanna do this?

You really wanna do this?

And even with my bonded human, Mom L, I appear to have the same look before my EB kicks in—*hides face in paws*

I just do not now how to control this condition

I just do not know how to control this condition

And then EB kicks in, and I cannot control it—please, please tell me in comments if any of you cats, or even woofies for that matter, seem to have this same/similar EB Condition. It is embarrassing to speak about, but we must come out into the open and share how we manage this condition.

Feline Veterinary medicine has yet to determine if this is based on our “Nature” or on how we are “Nurtured”.  What say you all my pal???

Here I am, after the first suggestion above that my EB Condition is going to kick in—

oh yeah...engaging EB

oh yeah…engaging EB

And most recently with Mom L, I once again caved into this EB Condition—

Even as a senior cat I continue to have this affliction

Even as a senior cat I continue to have this affliction

I first mentioned this most concerning feline condition last year. I would so treasure learning from any and all my feline readers if you suffer from this ailment which no cat will ever speak of. Now I confess—Elevator Butt is the unspeakable condition. I do believe that cats are the most prone for this ailment, but perhaps my woofie pals will chime in with additional information.

Human Domination in Two Easy Steps

HIYA!  SAVANNAH HERE!!

I bet’cha I have your attention now, don’t I?

The steps are actually very simple, unless you happen to be a woofie over about twenty pounds (nine kg)! I can’t demonstrate this process myself and you will see shortly why. I asked The Kid Sage (TKS) to step up and do the demo.

Here ya go—

First Step—step lightly onto your human’s lap (see, I can’t get to the first step—really a bummer). No eye contact to start. Be sure to snuggle up close to their body and spend a bit of time arranging your front paws for maximum “cuteness”. Adopt a relaxed, serene pose and stare off into space as though you have much on your mind.

I am so gonna own Mom L

*sigh* So relaxing, so much to think about—

Second step—Let me warn you, don’t try this on your human’s lap unless you have practiced this technique in front of a mirror. This is the crucial step to achieve human domination, and you will get only one chance to get this right.

After you have been on the lap long enough to allow the human to feel your warmth, maybe even the soft rumble of your purr, then when you feel you have the human in a state of bliss—turn your head slowly, tilt upward toward your human. NOW make direct eye contact, and show your adoration of your human with a look, you know the look, and the human will be dominated for the rest of the day. You will receive anything you want. Trust me.

You have dominated the human—score one for cats!

You are the most special human in my whole life—I love you

My thanks to TKS for the demo, she does it better than I do. Well, of course I can do the “look” part, I just don’t do the “sit on the lap” part. Which, I must say, is very important to lasting domination. Hope this helps you. Let me know if you have that “look” in your tool kit for managing your humans.

Smudgy Selfie

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I had Mom L use two different filters in Photo Shop Elements after she did some airbrush work using Pic Monkey. I think I am liking this selfie a whole bunch. What do you guys think?

This is my Savannah stare—intense huh?
