Do You Have A Thief In Your Home?

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Well I certainly DO have a thief in MY home…bet’cha none of you can even begin to guess that thief’s name. Go on, give it a go…try.

You are WRONG!! It is NOT Dad P!! He never ever never thieves anything, at least not from me. Of course, I have no interest in all things chocolate like he does, so perhaps that is why HE is not the thief.

What? Oh, finally. Someone guessed correctly…The Kid Sage!

She is a NATURAL THIEF!  Only just recently revealing this skill.

I am not sure what to do about this. Certainly I, personally, would never ever never do such a thing!

The Cat Caretaker Syndrome

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I don’t know what it is with everyone else, but when our cat caretaker arrives aka cat sitter, we immediately behave different from when Mom and Dad are home. Do you?

As soon as Miss Heather arrived, she snapped this photo of us…and then she found us just like this for the first couple of days she was here…’

Where are Dad P and Mom L and what have you done with them?

Where are Dad P and Mom L and what have you done to them?

Next, she totally busted me. When Mom L and Dad P are home, I always act fearful of eating in the kitchen with Sage in the mornings. That leads Dad P to do just what I want. He brings my soft food breakfast upstairs and serves me while I am snuggled next to Mom L. Perfect!

Then, when it comes to serving up my soft food dinner, I again act reluctant to dine with Sage, so I get served wherever I chose in the living room. Sweet!

Miss Heather sent this photo to Mom L and Dad P…and she tattled on me telling them I eat at my dining station in the kitchen, for both breakfast and dinner, all the time she is here! Bummer! Now they know my strategies for manipulating them at dining time, I have to come up with something else…any ideas pals??

Do All Cats Like Nip Toys?

J Lo 4

 Adopt J Lo

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you likely know by now, Mom L, my typist, is off gallivanting in Atlanta at the combined conferences for the Cat Writers Association and Bark World.  As you know, this has troubled me greatly.(hover over photo to view captions)

But…I managed to find this tell tail tale short video of The Kid Sage which proves yet again…cats are mostly into their nip toys for immediate gratification…after that…the motto goes something like this…

“When a toy has been tested, bunny kicked, covered in cat spit and guarded from any other cat in the household…said toy is now to be avoided at all costs”…so sayeth Ceiling Cat.

Such is the fate of this ‘at first glance’ kickable, spitable nip toy gifted to me and The Kid Sage by our fave DVM, Dr Josie, now a retired certifiable Cat Lady…heh…heh…and that nip sock is also “now retired”…na’ mean???
