Are You A Bunny Kicking Cat or Woofie?

HEY HEY HEY!! THE KID SAGE HERE AGAIN TODAY!!

Lucky me! Lucky YOU! Mom L has more photos of ME she hasn’t used than of HRH Savannah. That means I get to share one of my most favorite games ever with you. In fact, I am the cat who taught HRH Savannah to play this game.

Now I believe this is NOT ONLY a game for us cats. I believe that our woofie pals play this game sometimes too. Be sure to let me know in comments if I am right about that, ok?

I just can’t get enough of my game called BUNNY KICK. I don’t even care if I play it with one of our toys OR just with our Nip N Nap mats or even a plain old floor rug.

My Bunny Kick moves are actually rather expert, don’t you think?

Smooshing the rug just right is important

Smooshing the rug just right is important

Sometimes I have to smoosh that rug over and over again.

*ummpff* *ripp, shred*

*ummpff* *ripp, shred*

Now you would think all that would ded it for sure. But not this particular time. I had to go back and really give a lot of extra bunny kicks to get that rug to lie down and be dedded.

*kick, kick, kick* Ha! Dedded ya!

*kick, kick, kick* Ha! Dedded ya!

Just to make sure the Bunny Kick game is finished I usually give that rug a couple of chomps as well.

One more good CHOMP and my work here will be done I think.

I can play the Bunny Kick game all day and all by myself. Problem is, sometimes Mom L and Dad P think I am really going to cause some harm to that old rug. Seriously?

Oh Hi Dad P! You want some of this old rug for something?

How do you play the Bunny Kick Game?

And no. I am most certainly NOT giving my blog over to The Kid Sage. I will be back on Wednesday for sure and she will be where she belongs…in the background…heh…heh

The Discovery of Kleenex Tissue & A Birthday Wish

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

This is a special day. You see it is Mom L’s birthday TODAY! I helped her prepare this post before her ouchie surgery back on December 11.

She wanted something fun, funny and happy to motivate my readers to chuckle, smile and enjoy. I tapped my claw on the desk for about 2 nanoseconds before I came up with the following about none other than The Kid Sage.

She is usually good for a laugh…na’mean?

The photos are certainly NOT top quality as this all happened one morning while we were all hanging out in my master bedroom, watching the news and what not. TKS likes to explore the humans’ nightstands. She has been doing this for a year now.

Suddenly, she took notice of something on Mom L’s nightstand. It has always been there, but this time, unfortunately, TKS decided it required further inspection and sampling.

What is this? Has it always been here?

What is this? Has it always been here?

And then the analysis, sampling and discovery began.

Oh! It moves

Oh! It moves

Now testing for texture and durability.

I better take one to test it

I better take one to test it

Testing one was not enough.

Probably need several...*pull, yank*

Probably need several…*pull, yank*

The discovery continued. She found she needed more than her mouth to get her test samples where she wanted them for closer inspection.

Meowzers! I need my paws for leverage

Meowzers! I need my paws for leverage

It was unbelievable she paid absolutely no attention to Mom L’s attempts to distract her. Mom L moved the box to a lower level closer to her. TKS did not let it slow her down.

I can still reach it Mom

I can still reach it Mom

The shredding and ripping continued.

*sniff* wonder what they use this for. It certainly is fragile and tears easy

She finally reached her objective. The sample was placed just where she wanted. Her inspection and analysis of the tissue was about to swing into full action.

Now I have you just where I want you *shred, tear, munch*

Now I have you just where I want you *shred, tear, munch*

At this point…Mom L said “enough”!. And The Kid Sage was disappointed for about 2 -3 nanoseconds until Dad P caught her attention with her favorite wand toy…a wand, with black string and nothing attached to it. So much for all those feathery attachments.

The end result of Sage discovering Kleenex tissue

Should any of you be wondering; this discovery continues to catch her attention. Now, she never passes up a tissue box without trying out the tissue. We fear the end result if she ever discovers the toilet paper rolls….*shudder; rolls eyes*

Do Cats Change Their Mind?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

My guess is that lots of us cats, lady cats or man cats, change our minds about lots of things and we do it lots of times…even in a short amount of time…na’mean???

Personally, I find that I can keep Mom L dancing around on her toes trying to keep up with me IF I change my mind frequently. This works especially well when she is trying to make sure I have my fitness time aka ‘play time’.

Next move…

Wait a minute, I wasn't ready yet

Wait a minute, I wasn’t ready yet

Sometimes a distraction comes along and as a certified cat, I must give it some attention.

Did you see that over there??

Did you see that over there??

Then the quandary is “Do I inspect the new element?” or “Do I continue to play?”

Yup Mom, I'm watching you out of the corner of my eye, but let me see what that is...

Yup Mom, I’m watching you out of the corner of my eye, but let me see what that is…

Well, what are you waiting for? I have been like this for the last at least 10 nanoseconds…

Heellloo up there! Let's get this game going

Heellloo up there! Let’s get this game going

Then you all know how it goes; there is that tickle that tells you something on your body needs attention…and you simply can’t wait.

Ah yes, I knew this paw was just filthy and in need of a few good slurps and chomps

Ah yes, I knew this paw was just filthy and in need of a few good slurps and chomps

By now, Mom L is sure I am ready to get into a full on hard playing work out. Guess again Mom L.

I'm all done now. Got some squirrel TV to watch

I’m all done now. Got some squirrel TV to watch

If we don’t change our minds often, in a split second, how ever will we keep our humans entertained? They are so needy and it is our duty to see to it that their smaller brains are kept in top working order so that they can meet our every need and whim.

And that, my pals, is all I am going to say on the topic of “Do Cats Change Their Minds?”

As If They Care: An Update

I am stranded here with The Kid Sage and the human cat sitter who cares not one whit about getting my second breakfast to me, in bed, slightly warmed…*deep sigh with a sniffle*
