Monday Meowsie News…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

How can I say this…what Mom???…Oh…Ok…she says to say “the best laid plans of mice (seriously??!!) and men oft go astray“…whatever!!!

All that just to say…like I totally had my Monday Meowsie News all written and was ready to paw “publish”…then I get this email…and OH MY CAT!!! (sorry Miss Cat Forsley, no pun intended at all…ears turn embarrassed pink…)…

The email was from Miss Cat Forsley, this pawsome huLady song writer…who is passionate about animal rescue…and she and I had worked a bitty bit on a song, well…ummm…yeah…for me…I mean, what a compliment…and so Mom and I worked with Miss Cat…and then late today, Sunday…WHAM! There is it was…

So, my Monday Meowsie News will just have to wait until later this week…I like this song way better…purrrrrs

Now I am NOT THE FIRST paw blogger to have this incredible privilege offered…the ONLY REASON Miss Cat even knows I exist is because my bestest gurlfurriend Pyrenees canine pal, Clowie, from Clowie’s Corner referred Miss Cat to me!!!  Thank you so much Clowie!!  Miss Cat wrote a wonderful song for Clowie too…please hop to her post and listen…click here

And I know she wrote one for Rumpy Dog too…

Miss Cat is passionate about animal rescue, so please visit her website at  Cat Forsley, and her You Tube site…click here

Now, here is the song she wrote just for me…

I hope you enjoyed this video and Savannah’s Song by Miss Cat Forsley…

Humble paw pats, Savannah…(wipes leaky eyes, and drippy nose)

peeEss. Don’t forget to stop by Tuesday to meet a trust pawsome Real Rescue Cat Talking about  her rescue from being used as a breeder cat

Special Savannah Holiday Wreath

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Just going to make it simple today…hope you don’t mind me sharing more things about my first furrever Christmas in my final furrever  home.

This is special to me…and I hope my bestest gurlfurriend, Cathy Keisha, from Stunning Keisha (we met first on Twitter…she is a DJ for Nip Club!!) comes by to take a peek at what Mom found and bought special for me.

You see, Mom found me a wreath made out of my most favorite toy…PEACOCK FEATHERS!!!  Well, actually, the feathers are not real, I sniffed them and confirmed (VBP) that, but still…check it out! (click to biggify)

Isn’t it PAWSOME!  It is the only wreath in our whole house…and Mom hung it in a special place…

ct 18

Right up over our fireplace!!…she took down the Navajo Weaving that belongs there, but for the holiday, my Special Savannah Holiday Wreath rules our living room!!

And can you see the stockings?…Dad and Mom have the striped ones…a friend knitted them for them the year BEFORE they married…lucky they aren’t like in shreds because that was like a bazillion years ago! MOL!

Now can you see the one that says “MEOW” at the top??? Guess who that belongs to?????? YES!  ME! Mom brought it home and hung it using her special Tuxie Cat stocking hanger…she gave it to me for my very own this year…wait a minute…(wipes drippy nose and leaky eyes…sniff, sniff)…Ok..I’m Ok…it’s just a lot to take in…I never had so much that was just for me and done to make me feel special and part of a furrever family…I really, really like it.

ct 12

Now you can see my WHOLE STOCKING!  It has fishies on it…and I hope Santa Paws stuffs it full!

That’s it for today, thanks for letting me share my experiences from my first Christmas in my furrever home.

peeEss…Cathy Keisha has been posting about all the wonderful gift shops at the Nip Club Holiday Bazaar , she has worked her paws down to nothing fundraising, so hop over and check out her posts.

And another good furriend, Texas, A Cat in New York, also posted about a pawsome fundraiser called Winnie’s Wish Christmas Fundraiser, which Celestial Kitties is hosting, so scoot over to either of these two blogs to check that out too.

Great opportunities to shop for gifts AND give back at the same time. Have a peaceful Sunday.

Caturday and My First Furrever Christmas Tree

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Several of you asked to see my first ever Christmas tree in my now furrever home.  Last Christmas, I was still a foster kitty with then “Foster Mom” and “Foster Dad” (FM and FD in my earlier posts).  So, I mostly didn’t get the whole tree thing, and they had their, now our, god-daughter for Christmas visiting and then some other people over for Christmas dinner, so I stayed mostly hidden.

But this year!!! A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE FOR THIS KITTY!!!!!

You saw me doing my patrol and inspection of the empty tree earlier…I had to make sure it was ready for decorating.  I declared it was safe, stable and pawsome!

So we decorated Mom and Dad decorated the tree finally!

…hmmm…what does it smell like now that it is decorated??…

ct 1

…oh!!! Look!!!…prezzies!!!…wonder if they smell too??…

ct 2

…nope, the prezzies don’t smell…wonder why?…maybe if I check behind this one…

ct 3

…nope, maybe on this side…

ct 4

…hmmm…no smell on the prezzies…maybe I outta sniff the tree again…

ct 5

…shhhh…I’ll just try a teeny nibble…don’t tell Mom or Dad!…

ct 6

…WHAT???!!!…(who didn’t whisper like I asked??…which one of my furriends ratted me out???)…no, no Mom…not me…I didn’t bitey bite the tree…

ct 7

…harumppfff…thanks lots guys!…I got caught…mabe if I go behind the tree…

ct 8

…naw, now both Dad AND Mom are watching me like hawks!…

ct 9

…MOUSES!…might as well leave…

ct 10

After my inspecition and tasting of the tree…oh yeah, I forgot to tell you…the prezzies don’t smell because there is NOTHING in them…Mom just wanted to make my tree more photographic for my post today…Thanks Mom! (you can bigify the tree if you want to see the pretty ornaments better)

ct 11

And guess what???…I found a special spot just for me…I like to get back here for a bit of contemplation (VBP)…and Mom bought the tree skirt JUST FOR ME! It is like all soft and poofy…nice!

ct 13

MY FIRST FURREVER CHRISTMAS TREE…THERE ARE THREE OF THEM!!!

ct 15

My wish is for every cat and dog to have a first furrever holiday symbol to call their very own like I do this year.

I have some other stuff to share with you tomorrow, but I didn’t want to overwhelm (vocab buidling project VBP) you today.

Paw Pats, Savannah
