Thursday Purrsday…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I didn’t have full use of Mom’s brain or her fingers today…she had a little quick procedure, like she does once a year, to get her lower back some help. So she was not totally with it today…na’mean??

So we had a little chat in bed this afternoon…and we both decide I just can’t pass on doing a little short something for Pepi Smart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

My first thankful is for the marvelous song Miss Cat Forsley wrote, just for ME! Last year just about this time…in case you missed it….here it is again…

…some of you may not know but December 9th marks the date, in 2011, that Mom Linda and Dad Peter brought me home to foster me…I was a very very scared, timid cat. I did not even know how to play and did not trust people at all.

…I thought you might enjoy seeing some photos of things that gave me so much pleasure and courage in my first weeks and then couple of months in what became my furrever castle…

Friday Frolics…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know I have been sort of hinting around that not all things are as they seem here at my home…and that there are some blogville rumors I have been trying to validate to make sure what I heard is really true…and I know some of you have started to wonder if everything is A-OK with me and Mom Linda and Dad Peter…

Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and caring…let me assure you…we are all doing very well…but there is some stress and tension…due to things that seem to be visible at one time and then not there the next…not sure what that is all about but Mom Linda and Dad Peter keep on reassuring me…nothing is going on…I still wonder…

And I heard from somewhere that someone saw a strange shadow in one of my photos on my blog a while ago…just a rumor…but I have been checking that out and may have actually seen those mystery shadows myself…

Well, I decided to let that go for now…I had to go flirt some with Mom so she would get my mid-morning snack…(click to bigify and hover mousie over for captions)

But then I noticed the string Mom was playing with me had a totally distracting odor…

…does she never wash my toys???

Clearly she doesn’t bother getting my carpet cleaned…I really have to get back to training Mom and Dad again…sigh…a cat’s work is never done.

Well, I’ll let her pass on it this time….so I decided to pad over to my Fast Leopard Transport Tunnel…ya know…check it out…make sure everything is in working order…maybe even give it a spin before that snack I’m waiting on…

There is that pawful smell again?!!

…now I know I asked Mom to wash my tunnel before our next adventure…you know Nissy and I still have not found that long forgotten and thought to be extinct Necata canipbis variety of the Nip…I need this tunnel ship shape! We lost our best pal Dash after that last mission…but I know his staff will carry on in his paw tracks…

Ok, I better get in there and check it out

I didn’t find anything troubling…just that smell…again…and then there are those suspicious, moving shadows…here one minute then gone…only to appear somewhere else. Troubling I can tell you and very stressful for me…I don’t like not knowing EVERYTHING going on in my Castle.

I’ll let you all know what I find out…but don’t worry about us…everything will be just fine…What?…did I just hear Dad Peter gasp??? Now what?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Let me wish all my USA furriends a pawsome Thanksgiving Holiday…filled with family, furramily, furriends, friends and kindness and peace…

And I want to give HUMONGOUS THANKS to the bestest furriends ever…My Three Moggies…for lending us their humans’ incredible talent to create this totally, absolutely wondrous Thanksgiving AND Hanukkah video…filled with greetings from good furriends around the world…

My Purrs this Thursday, and all days, are filled with gratefulness on this and every day…because I have a home forever…and because now I am able to work with Mom Linda and Dad Peter to help others live the dream Leader Otis had for cats everywhere…none will live in Limbo…and as long as our humans continue to make decisions that bring US, Felines, into the Promised Land…we will…
