And YEP! I am pooped from having so much to be grateful for over the last few weeks…whew!!

As the peeps say…”All Is Well That Ends Well”…and MOUSES!!…did some great adoptions end well!   Ummmm…first let me just say that I luvluvluv all my woofie furriends…but…we cats have added not one, not two but THREE cats to Twitter Anipals, Blogville and maybe…paws crossed…to Face Book too….

Of course the first kitty is MOI!!…I blog, Face Book and Twitter…next up…

Next up…you remember Cousin Leo created his “Paw It Forward Project” to help sweet Mary, aka MJ, now aka Mimi…find her furrever castle..and then she was diagnosed with diabetes…and of course you ALL KNOW she now has a furrever castle of her very own…ahem, koff, koff…well…she must share with a new older brofur named “Jasper” but fondly known as “Jazz”…

….Mimi in her new home…and yes she has a bare tummy…from her lab work and ultra sound to diagnose her diabetes…

…this is her new brofur Jazz…and you can only imagine if HE lives like this…what can MIMI expect…SPOILT furrever!!!

…and as so many of you helped with the Hope Chest for Mimi…first, the 50GBP goes to Blue Cross of England to help with her insulin costs…

…Second…one of the contributions was specified to go toward special items from Miss Stella’s shop…Mollie and Alfie snoopervised EVER single item…and both Mimi and Jazz received something from this bounty!!!

Their Twitter Handle is: @jazzandmimi…

And if you care to send them a warm welcome message, as well as encourage them to do a blog, you can send a message to both of them HERE

Mimi’s new Mom Helen wrote this to Basil and his typist:

Honestly Basil, I cannot begin to describe how happy I felt to be taking her home for the first time. She is such a darling.  Most of Saturday afternoon was spent in bed with her watching films on the iPad  Her first injection from me went well and she slept on my chest all night. She can’t half eat for such a little thing.

Jasper hasn’t moved away from the bedroom all weekend.  He is desperate to meet her but I am going to hold off as Mimi seems to be a bit hissy at the moment.

I’ve attached a photo of her in her new collar.  Pink of course.  Please let everyone know how settled she is already and if they want to get in touch feel free to pass my details on.”

Much love Helen, jasper and Mimi xxx”

I am so hoping you are all standing on your hind legs and shouting WOOOO HOOOO…what a great adoption!!

YEA!!! Cousin Leo “Paw’d It Forward”…we all need to keep on doing that…IMHFO…

Monday Meowsie New…Cousin Leo and Sailing???

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

First, I thought I hit the “schedule” button with my paw as I was closing up last night…but nope!  So I am a bit late this morning…oooppps…so here is my Monday Meowsie News…

DSC_3411

Bet you can’t figure out what “Cousin Leo” and “Sailing” have to do with anything…right???   And nope, Cousin Leo has not become another Bailey Boat Cat…heh…heh…

First, I know most of you have found your way over to my Cousin Leo’s new blog…Leo Land SV.  For those who may not know, Leo lives in what is known around the world as the “Silicon Valley”…that’s where like a ton of tech firms call ‘home’; so that’s what the “SV” stands for.

Leo has been having Dad Dave (DD) keep in touch with texts and emails and he has some photos sent along to make sure we know he is doing great.  I have already shared a few, but thought I would put ’em all together in one place..

…and here are a few from more recently…

So, Leo is really doing just great!

Now about the sailing part…Dad and Mom went to San Francisco, across the bay from where we live…to watch one of the races in the Louis Vuitton Cup which is part of the America’s Cup sailboat races happening in our bay this Summer and early Fall.

They watched the Luna Rosa team from Italy against the Artemis team from Sweden.  The Artemis Team was a sentimental favorite as they had crashed their original boat in May, killing one of the team members from Britain.  They had only 12 days with their new boat to get used to sailing it.  For those of you who are interested, click HERE to learn why these boats this year are so very different from others used in sailboat racing…and they are HUGE…72 feet!!

It was a fabulous day on the bay…so I asked Mom to share some of her photos…she FORGOT her camera…these were all shot using her iPhone!!…

Great day, wonderful weather…purrfect!  Oh, and they bought t-shirts MADE FROM PLASTIC BOTTLES!!! Cool huh?  And after they had lunch at an incredible vegetarian restaurant called “Greens“….yum yum…I know Rumpy’s human Jen and The Maple Syrup Mob’s Mummy Janey and Dad Chris would all have luvluvluv’d this place!!

Lastly, I was contacted by a really nice woman in the UK who is collecting data about the ways in which animal charities communicate with their supporters/potential supporters.  Mom and I completed her survey to help her collect data for her university dissertation…here is the linky to a short survey if you are willing to help her with her project…thanks lots in advance!

All that sea air and fun in the sun made me tired…
