An Apology and A Favor Fulfilled

Hiya! Savannah Here!

First, my apology.  Yesterday for Monday Meowsie News, I told you about a really cool card I was given, from “Miss Martha”…she does some volunteer stuff with my Dad.

WELL!….let me meow it out right now to DINA, Miss Martha’s cat, I AM SO SORRY I GAVE YOUR PEEP CREDS THAT BELONGED TO YOU…so my really nice house warming card was from DINA, who follows my blog when her peep will help her out, ya know, DINA has paws, not thumbs and all that.

…so here is the card again…and my new furriend DINA sent it to me and we have not even had a chance to swap photos or meow with each other, and yet she sent me this lovely card….purrrrrrs to DINA!

…wipes forehead with paw…whew…that was soooooooo embarrassing…of course, Mom made that mistake, not me! Just sayin’…

Now for a Favor Fulfilled…when I was showing photos of what our old house looked like when we were packing, I posted this photo…

…my bestest furriend here in the San Francisco Bay Area, Spitty, left this comment:

“My Human, on the other hand, is quite intrigued by that adorable tiny striped red chair! Story, please?”

To which I responded telling his human about my Mom’s dolls from her childhood and that this little chair belongs to one of the dollies.  Then Spitty sent another comment the next day:

“I hope you post a picture of it with the dolly when you get all settled in the new house, okay???”

So I like to do favors for furriends whenever I can…and Mom finally got her dollies unpacked, even though they are not all completely settled in their cabinet yet…

Here ya go Spitty’s human…the dolly in her chair…and some shots of the other girls trying to get their home all unpacked just like us…MOL!

…the dolly and chair..

…the Ginny Girls trying to get all settled in…you can see their upstairs bedroom and the middle level is their living room and dining room…

…this is their kitchen and family room…

So I hope Spitty’s human is checking his furriends’ blogs today…’cuz this one is for her…meow…

Paw hugs for my furriend Spitty and his human, Savannah

Monday Meowsie News…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

I have lots of news: An Award; A Pressie; A Card…

The Award:

Well, as you ALREADY know…our move made me late on lots of things. Besides not getting to visit all my furriends everyday, I also missed posting about an award I had passed to me…and I got it not once, but TWICE!  How cool is that?

Misaki, The Misadventures of Misaki, was the first furriend to pass the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award to me. Thank you  my doggie girl furriend!

And then before I could thank Misaki properly (VBP), I received the award again just last week while I was moving…this time from my very good furriend Nerissa, over at Nerissa’s Life.  He is thoughtful like that ya know…

As always, I continue to be appreciative of all who think of passing an award to me.  Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated.  I do try really hard to post every day and to make some contribution to helping other adult rescue cats and dogs live as their REAL SELF in furrever homes.  So thank you Misaki and Nerissa for thinking I am a team member…’cuz I sure do try to be!

Basically the award protocols ask me to  display the award…DONE

Pass it on to 14 people…NOT DONE

And complete this phrase ‘A good reader is…’

“A good reader is one who gives up their precious time, which is not a limitless commodity, to stay in touch with furriends as often as life allows”.

I am continually humbled by the dedication all of you show in your words and actions to help rescue animals around the world, and to help all of us be more effective staff managers for our Guardians by sharing whatever you learn about the best practices related to our nutrition, care and overall health…(places paw to forehead)…I salute you all.

About passing the award to 14 other blogs I follow.  It is so hard to select only 14 when I follow over 100 and luvluvluv efurryone…so please, all of you, take the award and treasure it knowing we are all part of one huge Reader Team!

The Pressie:

I GOT A PRESSIE!!!   SQUEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…OMC!…what’s this…hmmm…smells different…

…WOW!…even upside down I can see my name!…and LOOK! IT IS FROM ENGLAND!!

…gotta get in this thing…I bet’cha my pal Alfie sent me something…my VERY FIRST EVER pressie and addressed to ME!

…squeeeeee again!!!!!…I got a new nip toy and some yummy salmon treats!!…

…and look at my card!…It’s a house warming card for me in my new home!!…wipes little leaky eyes…sniff, sniff…I never had anyone think of just me before beside Mom and Dad…

…and look!…a note!…OH WOW!…this is from Alfie and Mollie and their Mommy too!!…how very, very special…

…Mom filled the toy with some nip and I took it out for a sniff…thank you so very much Alfie, Mollie and Mommy…I am so fortunate to have furriends like you guys…

The Card:

…ANOTHER CARD CAME!…addressed just to ME!!!….Miss Martha volunteers with my Dad on this special jury thingy for our County and she sent me a house warming card…please notice that it is MY NAME!…she did not address to Dad and Mom…she sent it just for ME…she  takes time to read my blog sometimes too!…cool, huh?

…and some flowers came for all of us from Mom’s good girlfriend Miss Easter…nice, huh?…

That’s my news for today.  I hope you all have a great Monday

Paw pats, Savannah

Sunday Funnies…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

I am having an easy peasey Sunday…just me and a new sun puddle…you can see Dad took the glass out of this coffee table we are storing…but look at the great sun puddle enclosure is created for me…

…nice, huh?…

…and then I thought you would get a real MOL and BOL listening to Mom trying to make me feel comfortable the first time I explored outside our bedroom…

…I am in the guest bedroom for first time…can you believe it?!  The Woman never shuts up!…like I’m a kitten or something…

Come back and check out my Monday Meowsie News…some Awards, some new stuff I’ve been doing and some house warming pressies and stuff…Paw pats, Savannah
