My Progress is Showing

HIYA SAVANNAH HERE!!

Oh My Cat! What a most incredible week I had! Talk about makin’ progress in my recovery from trauma I experienced before my current castle home—and all in just ONE WEEK!

Guess it takes a couple for biped little people to push me into becoming more and more brave and confident. Mom L and Dad P continue to tell me I am safe in my castle home, but I still worry a bunch sometimes. My castle home was invaded by strangers from another country. There were four bipeds and two of them were like tiny little bipeds—sort’a like kittens, na’mean?

I know that I was teased by high pitched, frantic voiced bipeds before my forever castle home, because I cannot stand hearing high pitched noises that are loud.  Those sounds are much like the  tiny bipeds who visited me last week.

Check out my coolness just hangin’ around when the little bipeds were playin’ just above me in the dining room.

Yeah, I can hear them but I'm kind's curious

Mom L  was astonished that I was chillax’in on my fave spot on the couch when the girls were just above me in our dining room playing.

Yes, their voice were strange cuz they talked with this accent that I couldn’t figure out. But, I got curious about two days into their stay and started to hang out under that dining table to just listen to them.

That morning, I was so chillax’d just like nothing else was happening. (hover over photo to view captions please)

I started doing this almost everyday when those little female bipeds were within’ my hearing range.

Mom L and Dad P made sure that TKS and I both had a sort’a “sanctuary” space in our master bedroom where we could just hang out and nap without little bipeds hoverin’ around.

And the first thing ya know, there we were sharin’ that special sun puddle upstairs just a foot apart.

What? I am just here in the cool part of this sun puddle, nuttin' to do with TKS so close

Now no little biped got to touch my glorious Russian Blue furs, but as you all know, TKS is not so particular.

TKS was not above getting those pets from just one little biped.

Now I know my photos are not top drawer and that Mom L has one of our litter boxes in the background. But let me tell you, just try gettin’ photos of four and half year old bidped twins AND cats that don’t have some clutter somewhere, na’ mean?

Those of you who have followed me my whole four years of blogging know that this was a REALLY huge step forward in my progress toward recovering from unknown, but serious, trauma before Mom L and Dad P snatched me up to give me my forever castle.

And now why did Mom L scratch out all the other mentions of my castle, and change it to my home? Because even though I am still my Dad P’s Princess, I now have a friend in TKS and my  home is indeed a home, not just my castle. Hope you understand. If not, just ask me in comments what the difference means to me.

Joy and Sadness—Rescue Hurts

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

*wiping leaky eyes*

Oh, hey everyone. Glad you stopped by to have a look at my favorite Sunday Selfie contribution of the WHOLE YEAR! I am again joining the gang Kitties Blue for their infamous Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. Paw that badge and be transported over to some of the most fun photos ever!!

Sunday Selfies Badge

Yes, I am serious, this is, and will always be, my most fave photo submission for 2016. And it hurts as much as it gives joy. Trust me. Remember the kittens and their feral Mom Cat. I introduced the kittens about eight weeks ago? here, here

The kittens slept through their first Vet visit. Mom L had to haul each one from its slumber to get weighed. They are so very confident, thanks to their foster family and their feral Mom Cat who trusted this family to protect her and her kittens.

They settled in quickly at Contra Costa Humane Society‘s  free roaming small shelter for cats, Kitty Corner, my former home.

Oh, hiya! we are just waiting for our permanent home

Oh, hiya! we are just waiting for our permanent home

The Mom Cat, Muñeca, has been crying and crying hoping to find her kittens and bring them to her. Mom L and I have been helping the foster family understand the joy and heartbreak of helping a feral Mom cat and her kittens. Thankfully, the foster family wanted Muñeca to be returned to them. She will be forever cared for and loved. She has been spayed, microchipped to the foster family, vaccinated, combo tested, wormed etc. She will have a safe life free from further kittens.

As Mom L has told me before, there is always great JOY and sometimes great HEART BREAK when we get into a PAW IT FORWARD project.

Let me know what’cha think of our latest PAW IT FORWARD project and PLEASE share with our readers what your experience is with doing the same thing.

Where Do They Hide That Option?

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Kitties and Woofies one and all. I have a total conundrum. I am sure it is just me, but I can so use your assistance.

Where, oh where, do these evil online products HIDE their “auto renewal” agreements?? I mean, here’s the deal. I must justify all my expenditures to Mom L, as she does have those disgusting but usable opposable thumbs, na’ mean???

Once again, I decided, as is my right ‘cuz I own this blog, to experiment with a particular product which shall go unnamed. Now when I experiment with said product types, I always, always try to insure that I have hunted down and killed deleted any and all buttons that force me to agree to “auto renewal”.

Sadly, I must admit, I missed one. Yes, yes—Mom L found one of those ridiculous charges on my our credit card bill.

GOBSMACKED I WAS!!!

Say what? I most certainly DID NOT PAW THAT BUTTON!!

Say what? I most certainly DID NOT PAW THAT BUTTON!!

But, now whoever “THEY” is, seem to want all my special ID numbers. Do you all think this might be someone attempting to steal MY IDENTITY??? *SHOCK*

Have any of you been held hostage by that unfound “auto renewal” button? Please, please share with me in comments how in Ceiling Cat’s name did you get OUT OF IT!!
