Friendly Friday Frolic…And Feeling a Loss
Hiya! Savannah here!
First about Feeling Loss. My Champion, big guy Jetty, has lost his feline brother, Fluffy. Fluffy went OTRB yesterday, August 16. He lived a long life but a companion passing is always tough. I know Jetty’s mom, Miss Lori, is missing Fluffy too, as well as Fluffy’s human sister, Rachel. You see, Rachel named Fluffy when she was a little girl. So if you haven’t already, please drop by Jetty, at Hey, It’ s Jet Here, to give them some healing purrrs and soft doggie nuzzles.
I borrowed this cute photo from Jet’s blog post, I hope he doesn’t mind. I never met Fluffy, but wish I had.
Now I will share my Friendly Friday Frolic with you…
I have some new stuff to tell you about…but mostly I’ll keep that for my “Monday Meowsie News”.
But I really wanted you to see something I did that was silly and fun yesterday..You know I have started to play some with Mom in our office…well who knew that Mr Apple created something just for us cats!! It is an Apply iPlay cat toy…
Using it for chasing does require a staff member…or…you can just let it lay on the floor and pounce on it…I tried both ways…and prefer the interactive version myself.
…Mom started by waving it at me…I couldn’t tell what it was, so I had to go into the office to check it out…
…OH CAT!!…there are two of them!!!…Now What!!!…

…OK…this one is moving…I better keep my eyes on it…
…I pounced on it…then had to take a good sniff…Mom didn’t get a good photo of me jumping all over this thing…
…when she tried all she got was a FOTO BOMB!!!…(behind paws…snicker, snork)…
And that’s my new Apple iPlay Cat Toy…I bet some of you have this very same toy…so I encourage you to get your staff to share it…they can just leave it lying on the floor for you to practice your attack moves, or they can make it interactive and wiggle it around so you can practice your pouncing moves…

I know. Miss Lori said it was only tolerable because she knows it was at the end of Fluffy’s life cycle, not at the beginning…
Yeah, we have a few of those IPlay Cat Toys here, too. We’re not so interested in them, we prefer the nip nanner………..

We are sorry to hear about Fluffy and will go over and send some purrs to Jet. As far as the toy, we do have those too – but we get yelled at if we play with it!! Humans…
I know, huh? Dad feels just like that…but Mom doesn’t care…mostly ‘cuz she is with me and knows I am not gonna bite it…she puts it away after we use it…somehow I never learned to chew on things??? Paw pats, Savannah
Sorry to hear about your friend Jetty losing his pal Fluffy. It’s always sad to hear this kind of news even if it’s someone we don’t know. We don’t have any Apples around here either except the ones my Dad likes to munch…..but I hope you enjoy yours!!

Mummy doens’t have any Apple toys for us to play with but she does leave her other chargers lying around. maybe she’ll let me play with them! It looks like fun!

We’re sniffling a little. Thank you for writing such beautiful words about our guy, Fluffy and sharing his healthier times picture. We noticed today that the house was so quiet, since he was the gabbiest of the fur family.
Your anipals are the BEST Savannah, so many of them stopped by to share their condolences. We feel so fortunate to have the kindness and support of the pet blogging community, with you leading the way. Just read comment above about memorial for Fluff… now Mom’s eyes are REALLY watery.
Please accept our deepest gratitude, paw pats, Jetty kisses and JJ hugs. (Oh, chin scratches from Mom and hugs from Mom to your Mom and Dad.)

Good to “see” you again miss Savvy. And yeah, we also have the Apple iPlay Cat Toys here. I personally don’t care much for them, just like to nibble on them a little but the kid… oh, she got in a lot of trouble the other day….
What a beautiful tribute to Fluffy. I am sure Jetty and his mom will be touched by it. Animals can break our hearts.
As for the new toy, heaven help all technology now.

Oh….we are SO mad at our Mommy, she says Apple is evil and all sorts of other stuff. So we only get USB stuff to chase.
Mommy is mean.
oh, well…this was the USB connector…and the charger end is what I played with! We have PC’s here, but we also have several Apple products, phones, iPad, iPods, etc. sorry Miss Trish…
Super great toy!!! We were very sad to hear about Fluffy too, we stopped by yesterday to offer our purrs…….

There’s no way Mommy would let us play with that type of “cat toy”. It might have something to do with the fact that we *killed* several of them before. Heh heh.

We were so sorry to learn about Fluffy’s leaving for the Rainbow Bridge, too.
There are so many furry friends going these days, I feel a little sad.
The humans also have the Apple iPlay Cat Toy… the girl was trying to chew on it yesterday… Kids!

MOL I knew other dogs and cats would have this iPlay available to them!! I am trying to get Ann of Zoolattry to do a memorial badge for Fluffy, but I also know her husband Vic is back in hospital…not a good time for her…have a great weekend! You cats all play nice with the new sister Kitska (is that right??)
