Hiya! Savannah Here!
Well I don’t have news from the move…we are doing that today…but…I do have some news from Friday night in our old home.
Remember, I said I have been behaving differently as the move got closer and closer. I really kept track of Mom…and I started to come into our office more if she was there, get in my window and watch her and our street and all the going on of the neighborhood. I haven’t come to the office much for a while, that is with Mom there too…so this is different..
…oh, Hi Mom!…I didn’t see you over there typing away on my blog…go figure…
…wow, look at that…my bed…hmmmmm….maybe it needs me to nap in it a bit…
And then the really big news…Friday night…while Mom and Dad were watching TV in our family room…wait, wait…first you have to know that Dad washed the nice floofy white rugs they had in their bathroom to keep their tootsies warm…and he left them on the couch to take to the new house…
Ok, now I can go on…you needed to know that the rugs were spread on the couch next to Mom…so I had my snack…walked over to the couch…Mom patted the rugs, then she did a little “Oh, No! Mice in the Run!”…and well…you can see the rest in the slideshow…

Just think Savannah……soon this will all be over and things will calm down again………it’s just scary at first. You’re doing REALLLY WELL! Hope last night was nice in the new house with everything that’s familiar.

Oh Sammy. Yesterday was not fun! But Dad and Mom made sure the master bed and bath were totally set up, with my toys and scratch post Last night I actually slept OTB with them. Now, I am UTB for a rest this morning. MOL
O and a tip for your new house, which was given to typist to help her nervous dog settle when she moves, if your humum/dad gives you something that smells of her/him (unwashed) for you to sleep on in your new house it may help you settle!
Thanks Basil, good tip. They had the whole master bedroom and bath all set up before moving me. So it has all the things I remember and that smells like me.

Under the bed…we cats go there immediately at any perceived threat. That is where I am right now in our Jew home. Just lived here for our first night. Very scary for me right now. Thank Ceilong Cat I have the iPad under here with me!

Wow Basil! Your calming thoughts were totally potent! I just hd a really nice play session with Mom and I haven’t been in new home for 24 hrs yet! How’s that for progress. I am still just in our master bedroom, but still…

Hmm, I wonder if you’re following your mom now because you know what it looks like when people move…
Before we met, Greg took in a kitty who’d been outside his house for a while, and when it looked like they were moving (they werent, but boxes and stuff were coming and going) the kitty freaked out. They wondered if perhaps that’s how she’d gotten homeless in the first place, someone moved and tossed her out.
Well, we hope you know that you’re going with your mom and dad!
Love the slide show! Sounds to me like those rugs need to be part of the couch from now on so you can have your comfy spot forever!
Oh my! That is a very useful insight! We don’t know how I ended up at the county shelter night drop cage. But clearly, moving is not any cats fave thing

oh thank you so much..it is so noisy here now…movers are awful noise..I am hiding in darkest corner of my hotel suite. Mom can’t even be with me because she has to do stuff and Dad is taking things to new house. paw covering eyes…little leaky tears…sniff

Hope you like your new house. A lot of the smells should be the same unless your peeps are getting all new furniture. Whoa! You jumped up on the couch. I sit next to Pop on the couch and he has Keisha and a Movie! He likes that.
oh Keisha, I am in my hotel suite now (feels like prison but I know it is to keep me safe)…and all furniture is same. Nothing new, whew! We gave house back to bank and now rent for first time in Mom and Dad’ marriage in 30 years+…lots of sadness now..will be better later…purrrrsss
Oh Savannah… I just had an idea! Maybe your mom and dad could get you some rugs like that of your very own. You obviously like ’em. They must be comfy. purrs

tonight is first night in our new bedroom…I am still in my hotel suite at old home waiting for movers to leave…noise is so scary..
Oh Clowie, the movers are so noisy! It is so scary! And Mom can’t stay with me she has to tell them what to take and stuff…wish you were here to protect me
