Words or No Words…I am recovering
Hiya! Savannah Here!
Just a teeny intro to my semi-wordless Wednesday post.
I want to tell all of my furriends how far I have come in my recovery from being a completely traumatized adult shelter cat who had no trust for any human.
Look at me now, having gone through a move from the only home I have known for 8 months to a new home. I am confident, I have claimed almost every room for ME, ME, ME…heh…heh
And I am making use of the boxes as they empty them…all with trust in my Dad and Mom and knowing we are together and they will keep me safe and loved.
Just yesterday, I was so eager (VBP) to get to my dinner Mom was serving…I tried to take a short cut under my pal Nanuk’s belly (he is my plush Sibe pal I do morning perimeter patrol with)…and I was too big to go under him and he fell over on top of ME! Eight months ago I would have run UTB in terror…but yesterday, I just stepped aside so Mom could set him back up, and then I walked over, calmly, to my dinner.
Let’s hear some APAWS! APAWS! And thank you all for reading my words on wordless Wednesday…

…OK, I know some of you look at detail…and yes, Dad said that is indeed a booze box…sigh…so embarrassing…
…what?…I’m just sitting here, minding my own business…OK?
…and sad but true…I had to perform for my dinner last night…
…Mom just can’t shut up and let me do my thing…no wonder I got nailed by Nanuk right after this performance…but I let her know just what I thought at the end, huh?!…the Global Cat Mark of Disdain…heh…heh…

Apaws to you Savannah….it sounds like your Humans have done alot to win your trust & love!!! I remember when NYLABLUE came to me; she was aloof & skittish & didn’t respond much to anything…..we spent 8 months in my old place & then we moved into a new apartment. She then blossomed; not sure how or why….I figured the fact we moved together helped her to bond to me. We’ve been together 6+ years now & are pretty much inseperable….LOVE conquers all doesn’t it sweet girl?? Have a great weekend. Sherri-Ellen aka Nylabluesmum.

Appaws! Brava!! *crude whistle* Let’s Go Savvy! Look at you in that box! That shows trust. You own the house and all its contents already. Dunno how I would react. If TW ever gets a job or Pop wins his lawsuit, she’d like to get a place with a catio so I can lay outside. Can’t believe you have to perform for supper. She deserved the back of disdain.
ohhh come on CK!…you know I do it ‘cuz I like Mom…and I really, really hope TW can land a job soon, this is a really tough time for humans, and it is really hurting all of us companion animals as well. So many cats, dogs and others don’t have what you do CK…or what I have…we are the lucky ones. Sending positive purrrs your way, Savvy
