Hey Savvy, Big Guy here.
So great to see you enjoying the view and the scents… whoo hoo!
miss you guys, not sure when we will ever get back to “normal’…now Mom has a cold! I had to spend the WHOLE afternoon taking care of her which meant I had to nap the WHOLE afternoon with her in bed…bummer, huh?!
Good to know you’re keeping an eye on things! Hope the smells are good ones!
yep, I keep that back yard under my eye!
Now that is an exciting yard to look at! Has yous gots a bird feeder out there so the bird TV is spectacular?
Kisses
Nellie
Oh Nellie, yes, we do have 3 bird feeders, but so far only the hummers come to the hummer feeder and some chickadees are using the seed feeder. They are not liking our usual suet feeder and the squirrels have not yet found the corn we leave out for them…darn!
If I sniff on the window it’s always opaque behind. Maybe it’s something wrong with our glass…
maybe you just huff and puff a lot Easy! MOL
What a GREAT spot to look at the world Savvy…….your new yard will be attracting a lot of wildlife – LOTS of “squirrel/bird/cat TV” !!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Sammy, we are hoping to get a bird population learning about our feeders and also to get our water dish out for them soon
What a great window you have to keep your eye out and have whiffies 🙂 Wez so pleased you have settled in Savannah 🙂 Your Alf xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
awwww Alf…thanks buddy! I know you and Mollie have my back if I get scared, means lots to me
We also love the outside smells!
luvluvluv outside smell, but don’t want to BE outside…too scary
Just wait til the peeps start grilling on that great patio of yours. It will smell divine!
oh we already have. Weird, but I don’t seem to have the least interest in peep food or their food smells!!! What’s up with that???
It’s good to have a window onto the world 🙂
isn’t it just Zena, especially when you are inside all the time like me
I enjoy the view from my front window. HuMom has several birdhouses on the front porch, so every front window has an interesting view. I especially love the early mornings when the birds are all twittering. HuMom likes the chipping noises I make while watching the birds. Last winter, huMom left a can of nuts on the shelf outside my window. She likes to feed the squirrels and I like to watch them come on the porch. One brave squirrel tried to help himself to the nuts. He was hanging from my window screen, trying to reach those nuts on that shelf. Lucky for him the window was closed. Otherwise I would have gone through that screen and had squirrel for breakfast. HuMom decided she didn’t want to wake up to that view again, so she moved that can of nuts and now squirrel sits on the porch rail and yells for his treat. I love that my window has become interactive! Birds and squirrels are the best! Other cats are another story though. They need to stay home and write blogs, not sit on my porch and make faces at me! I hope you have nothing but squirrels and birds out your window in you new home. If that black cat is bothering you huMom read somewhere about setting up a hose to give them a sqirt when they trespass. She’ll root it out if you want the information. Just let us know.
Purrs to you!
Mistletoe
MOL MIstletoe!!! YOu are so like ME! I luvluvluv watching the squirrels and birds and Mom and Dad know I won’t try to get to them…but another kitteh…oh yeah! I have already put a small tear in the screen and now they have to get it replaced cuz we rent now…but they know they need to put a stronger screen in so I don’t do that again…that black cat won’t come back again any way soon…paw hugs, Savannah
If I were a normal kitteh, which of course I am not, I would be exploring that GIANT RED BAG, my darling! Who knows what treasures might be lurking in there for you??
Also, we hope you are meowing really loud for our GIANTS over there!
yes we are meowing loudly for the GIANTS!!! GO GIANTS!!!!!! and I have already explored that red bag, and got my head trapped in the white handles which Mom promptly whacked off…bad night that one…
Oh, darling! How horrifying! See, it’s things like that that make me soooooooo leery of bags and boxes and other terrifying enclosed spaces. Those things might EAT a boy (or girl, even!) and Then What???? It makes me ::shudder:: to think.
I’ll be glad when the last out comes!
oh, are you afraid of bags Spitty? Don’t you ever play in them??? I just got my head stuck in the red bag handle and Mom cut them off, she forgot to do that right away…not a good moment for either of us
We loved getting some window sniffies ourselves this past weekend.
purrfect!
So…. anybody left ya any peemail yet?
oh yeah…a local wandering black kitty…hangs out from time to time…I already made a small errrr, ummm…ahhhh…well, ya know…rip…in the screen cuz I got so worked up over that kitty in MY NEW BACK YARD…sigh
What a beautiful cat you are Savannah!
Hi! Please tell your mom she is more than welcome to write about any animal, even if they have passed on. Thank you for asking and look forward to her story.
oh thank you so much! We have it on our calendar for posts now! play bows…Savvy and Mom
Window sniffs are great ! We don’t get any in the winter because our noses would freeze off.
The Maple Syrup Mob
xxxxxx
uuuuhhhh…that’s why we like living in the San Francisco Bay area! Mom and Dad had their SNOW experience which we will try to show tomorrow…but then came back home to sun…paw hugs, Savvy
New smells are so awesome! Looks like you have a GREAT door to sniff them in too!
Hi Leo and Star, and I have TWO big doors AND now we have a screen door on the front door so we leave that open too in good weather….nice!
Savannah we are so happy that you appear to be adjusting to your new home quite well!! Love, Cody
Cody, I am doing great…we all just wish I would let at least Mom pick me up. Sorry I have not been around regular to your blog or Dakota’s. We got so far behind Mom fears she won’t EVER catch up and she still keeps having stuff to do in the new place to settle in
So glad you are settling well enough to.simply enjoy new smells
oh yes! I am doing really well…except I got my claws whacked off last night…not a pleasant event for any of us!
Oh, I love new smells! Are you having fun?
Play bows,
Zimmie
PS: Sorry we’ve been slack about commenting. Remember how my mom said she’d either have lots of time while my dad was gone or she’d be going crazy? Yeah. And she’s still going crazy. Ha roo roo roo.
no problem, and I have been absent from all my furriends blogs visiting for so long I am surprised ANYONE still visits ME! I just really hope Mom can do the interview because I am really looking forward to it…play bows Zimmie and Dave
Something good on bird tv today, Savvy?
Hi Austin! Yes, always birds to see in this new yard, but not as close up because they don’t come much to the feeders yet and the feeders are farther away than they were at the old house where they were right there on the deck…sigh
Smell squirrels?
maybe, they are out there, but not like right on my deck like at the old house, these squirrels stay up high in the trees. Mom is trying to entice them down with corn hoping to get them closer so I can see them…heh…heh
Looks like Mom has your attention-must be something different! Nose kisses sweet Savannah!
I luvluvluv the smells in our new yard
What do you smell? Tell your Mom to cut the handle offa that shopping bag. I got stuck on one and it wasn’t pretty.
MOL already cut off…already got my head stuck in it and it wasn’t pretty at all…I was going into the bag and plowed my head right through the handle, right in front of Mom…she saw it happen even BEFORE it happened, so grabbed me cuz I was in a panic and of course, I don’t let anyone pick me up so I scratched her accidentally trying to get away from the bag and someone trying to hold me…pawful! She has always cut off the other handles, just forgot this time…thank for watching my back Keisha furriend
That looks like a nice spot to take in new smells and watch what is going on.
Hey Clowie, you would like being in my back yard, nice and cool…lots of shade and birds and butterflies and stuff to watch and listen to
You got lots of new smells that will keep you busy for a while sweet Savannah!
