Savannah's Paw Tracks

Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

Thoughtful Furriends…

What a great community we have in the paw blog, Anipal Twitter and FB world!  I am so happy to be a member of all and to have found such cool, talented pawtners!

Well, a couple of my furriends have gone and done it again…given me another shot of humility by passing awards to me…and both awards have been passed to me once before…BUT this time I want to take opportunity to ask some questions to help me think about my blog for 2013…so I can feel like I maybe deserve these pawsome awards…

…and she had such nice compliments to say…

” Savvy’s time is now cos she’s loved by everyone in the CB and beyond. She just celebrated her 1st Gotcha Day and has posted about her recovery as an adult rescue cat“…

How kind is that? CK like totally, totally ‘gets’ what I am trying to do with my paw tracks…leave a path for others to use to help them get to their own “recovery” to show as much as they can of their REAL SELF to their furrever families.

My question about having received this award: (anyone can leave a response in comments)

“For the year of 2013…describe what you hope to experience from visiting my blog that will have you reluctant to leave, hoping for more, and thinking ‘I (meaning you) can write about that too because it is impawtant’…”…and it is the NEXT BIG THING thing we all can post

  • Next, a very new furriend,  Angel Whisperer, from South Africa I think, pass the VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER award to me…

…Angel, at least I think that is her/his name…this is really embarrassing ‘cuz I couldn’t find anything about who she/he is on his/her bloggy…HELP??…

angel whisperer1

Anyways, here is the TOTALLY UNIQUE graphic Angel used to post who she/he passed the award to…

inspired blogger graphic

I read her/his post…and Oh My Cat!! There was my name!!!….and anypawdy can use this graphic application…

My question about having received this award: (anyone can leave a response in comments)

“For the year of 2013…describe what you hope to experience from visiting my blog that will leave you INSPIRED to do even more to help adult rescue dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, donkeys, horses, piggies, etc….find their furrever homes?

That’s it for me for now…hope you leave me lots of thoughts about how I can do more, better, etc in 2013 to truly live up to all your awards you have so graciously(VBP) bestowed upon me…

  1. Eeoww Nylablue here furst: You haz inspired me to work on learning new wurdz so me can bee understood (VBP) better by 2 & 4 leggeds. You helped me boost (VBP) my confidence (VBP) to meow wif you about me life befure comin to me Hu’Mum n dat waz so pawsum fer me!!!! Finally you extended (VBP) a paw to me in fur-endship n DAT meanz the world to me. =^..^= Nylablue.
Hi Savannah, Sherri-Ellen here second: Reading all your interviews has heightened my awareness that many 4 leggeds need help & to be more aware.
I am know feeding 2 ferals who were eating birdseed on my patio almost 2 weeks ago. I have always helped critters in distress; now it is something deeper….in fact my neighbor is no longer my friend because I took care of Shalimar & am now ‘back to feeding those *damn* cats’ (sorry her language; not mine!)
My resolve to help is stronger & I no longer care what people here think!
For a little cat you have made a B-I-G difference in many lives here!!!
Love you & your Mum & Dad for their kindness….xo Sherri-Ellen.

  2. Hey Savvy, Jetty here. Hi Miss Linda.

Normally, Mom would think long and hard about this, however, I’m pawing her incessantly to remind her that she and Miss Linda have already discussed!

  3. We agree, just keep doing the great things, you’re so great already there is hardly room for improvement!

  4. Concats on your awards… I think you can just be yourself Savannah. I haven’t known you very long, but you seem pretty pawsome.

I love what Prancer Pie said. It’s similar to what I was thinking when I went to comments. I will say that I agree with Prancer and what a beautiful girl you are, inside and out.

  9. I think if you just continue to be yourself, you live up to these awards just fine. Sometimes we feel sad cos you do so much for other anipals and we don’t do our share. Hopefully that’ll change.

  10. Congrat Savvy:-)
Reading your bloggy inspired mummy to start sponsoring a rescue doggy looking for his forever home. He’s a mallie like me:-)
Keep doing what you do xx

  11. Congratulations on your awards. We like to visit blogs and leave with a smile. There is so much going on in the world these days that visiting beautiful kitties each day is inspiring to us.

  12. You absolutely DO deserve these awards, Savannah — if for nothing else than being so SAVVY! We love you for who you truly are.

I know this isn’t the kind of comment you were hopin’ for but I just wanna say I love your blog just the way it is. IT’S PURRFECT! And yes, I realize we all always have room for improvement but still, if it’s not broken… well, you know… maybe fiddlin’ isn’t needed. I guess what I really wanna say is that if you feel the urge to add somethin’ or change somethin’ ’cause you’ve got somethin’ needin’ changin’… go for it. But change for change’s sake isn’t necessary. WE LOVE YOU SAVANNAH JUST THE WAY YOU ARE! purrs

    • oh Nissy thank you so very much. Coming from you I consider that exceptionally (VBP) high praise…as I think your writing is so very creative, unique and just like way entertaining…I can’t wait for your next alphabet challenge for the letter “B”…paw pats, Savvy
