HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Oh Cat!! Lots going on today…sorry to be late…Mom and Dad and I were watching out Presidential Inauguration ceremony. Whew…what an event!
It was kind of a busy week…you know I partnered with my good furriends Texas and Jetty (he is also my Official Champion) to launch our new Vocab Building Project Blog Hop…take a look here for the post. We hope you will all give it a try. The best part is you can do it ANY day from Thursday through Wednesday and on each Thursday we will post who joined us over the past week AND we will start a new VBP Hop…cool,huh?!
So here was the other thing that kept me really occupied this weekend…a “house guest”…!!!…and may I ask…who INVITED that person??? Certainly not me. I don’t usually go into the guest bedroom, but I made sure he was gone AND that the bed knew it was in MY house…and that I could use it any time I wanted to…and those quilts, well…they are MINE too…
…and here’s the close up…can you see my glare at Mom and Dad who were both taking photos with their iPhones??…I was making sure they knew not to lease out this room again without MY permission.
…and of course, I am starting to snoopervise Dad more and more when he changes our bed linens. I never understood the pleasure of sitting in the rumpled bed blankets…but I am learning…
…I may decide to try burrowing under one of these days…
The other thing I have started to do that is unlike me…I learned that our master bathroom has this really nice warm tile floor heater thingy in it…radiant Mom said…anyways…I have never ever used my nose to push into or through anything…not a slightly open door or bag, nothing…NOW…I am pushing the partly open bathroom door to get into that nice warm room…and I sit on my hammik Mom put in there when she is taking her shower, doing her hair and stuff. I am getting more confident again!!
One more thing…my pal Speedy passed an award to me just this weekend…AND he was featured on the Saturday on Pet Blogs United…purrlease be sure to visit PBU and read all about Speedy in case you missed it this past weekend.
The award is one I already have, but I am so honored that Speedy thought of me when he passed it forward…it is an especially nice award…and I have it proudly displayed on my blog page…

Aaah! i forgot alla bout the new hop, should have done it yesterday! Well perhaps will have to put in a extra post! Savannah looks like she found lots of new cuddly spots, and glad she told the house guest who’s house this is!
oh yes, once that introoder was gone, and Dad stripped the bed and remade it…I stomped right in there and reclaimed that bed! MOL
but just think of all the treat you can get!

I like to sit on the bedsheets when they are being changed too, it drives mummy crazy BOL
hope you leave some furrs on them so’s Mom and Dad can stay warm…in those clean sheets with your furrs…heh…heh
Oh Savvy – you need to explain to your parents that it’s important you be consulted before guests are invited to YOUR house! My goodness…..! As for the piles of covers on the floor – I quite like to leap into a puddle of covers especially if they are warm – like fleece blankets or quilts. Sheets – not so much….. Radiant heat sounds quite delicious….wish we had some of that!

Oh I wish we had them….Mom says she had them in one house many years ago and her kitties LOVED them. They had radiant heat in the whole house!

OMC! That would be a very toasty house to have Sammy! We think having them in the bathroom, because our master is pretty big, is totally amazing
I *HATE* it when visitors come! How dare these Humans invite their friends and relatives to stay in our homes without so much as ASKING us! Honestly, it’s an outrage!!!
In other news, speaking of new behaviors, *I* played in a box today. Yes, okay, it was a shallow box. But still.

When extra humans enter the house we make sure we inspect and get the attention we want :-). Henry will scream at humans he wants to leave the house no joke xx. Mum sends love wherever she is in the world xxx
And my Mom sends luvs and hugs right back to your Mum! That cracks us up that Henry screams at guests he doesn’t like, pawsome!

OMC, visitors!! Nothing throws our house into disorder like the peeps having some strange, loud human sleeping in our spare room. They need to make reservations with *you.* (And you can then mark all the days as “unavailable”!)
I would mark them unavailable for sure…I just like Mom and Dad…I don’t often show up for anyone else, and then only in a flash

Speaking of that – you shoudl see OUR world right now. In complete and total upheaval. Why, the refrigerator is even in the FOYER. And nothing at all in the kitchen or hallway or any other place where those floors are wooden. And papa’s using this horrid loud sanding machine thingy – and *horros* the VACUUM cleaner. A lot.
We want our home back pleez.
On the other paw – we’re sooo glad you discovered the wondcerful warmth of the bathroom. It’s our FAVE spot – especially when the heater’s on. We THINK you’re referring to something the mom is investigating for the next *shudder* project: redoign the bathroom: heated tile floors?
YES!! we rent, the owner remodeled a few years ago, and she has tile floors in the bathrooms with radiant heat UNDER the floors. So when you walk on them you have toasty paws…very nice
If Mummy Janey ,or sometimes EVEN Daddy Chris Vacuums on a day that isn’t a vacuum day,then we know that ‘people’ are coming to our house. We get into our hidey places when the people arrive.

Concats on the award. Uncle Vince came yet again yesterday but didn’t bring the SLH. Thank Ceiling Cat. We loved the POTUS’ speech. It was very powerful.

I think it is a terrible imposition when humans invite guests over without asking us kitties! I don’t blame you for being a little ticked off, Savannah. I think it is going to take lots of bed linen changing games to make up for it!
Sparkle, why must humans have anyone come stay overnight?? We kitties don’t usually bring another kitty home just for ONE night…what is up with that anyways????

Oh Savvy…I know how you feel when unexpected “houseguests” (I call them unwanted intruders) show up. Everyone wants to pet the cat. …that is until I give them the ears. heh, heh.

Oh Savvy, sad that those quilts are yours – we envy them big time! Now, you most certainly are in thick with those bed linen monsters, we have days when we have to wait hours before we can get the bed re-made 😀
those quilts were made by…hmmm…oh yeah, the top one was made by Mom’s mother and the one under it was made by Mom’s Dad’s mother. The bedspread cover is store bought.
