Friday Frolics…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

You know that Mom Linda has been helping our good friend Miss Josie with her foster bottle kittens…not that I approve, mind you…

…but I know that every kitten deserves a loving beginning into this world…and I am proud that Mom and I have had a teeny paw in helping these 3 kittens grow up and thrive and be ready to move on to being adopted into their furrever homes….of course their foster Mom Miss Josie…well…she did all the work…and we just luvluvluv her and her Kitty Platoon.

…Sammy, the runt of a litter and his ginger sisfur Ginger… (YES!! a female ginger kitty only found in less than 1% of ginger kitties!)…were trapped by Community Concern For Cats (CC4C)…their Momma cat had moved all her other kittens, so they left her with them and were able to bring Ginger and Sammy into a foster home…my former Vet…Miss Josie.

…and then there is Flower, who is probably a couple of weeks older…she is a “pistol” according to Mom Linda…Flower is so rambunctious and playful!!…

Mom Linda said good-bye to these kittens Wednesday, May 1rst, and we may have a video of their last play session next week. But for now…here are some photos of their last play session.. purrlease send your woos, woofs, purrs, squeeks, quacks, neighs…to speed them along to furrever homes…

It Doesn’t Get Much Better…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I always feel really great doing my Thursday post…I get to be “Thankful” and I get to share my garden and even sometimes…I get to share the pretty places Mom and Dad go on their little “Get-a-Way”.

Totally one of my most favorite posts of the week!

I want to thank all of you who stopped by yesterday to leave your comments and let me and my furriend Nissy know you were sending him your very bestest healing purrs, wheeks, neighs, woofs, quacks, woos and all…Nissy heard them and he came through his surgery Ok so far. Thanks so much for all your healing energy for Nerissa.

Now I get to acknowledge him again as a most wonderful furriend. Just before Nerissa had his accident, he passed an award to me…

It is a brand new award for me and like Nissy, I just luvluvluv the “bling”…according to Nissy, these are the rules for accepting this award…

I am also very thankful that Mom and Dad came back to me safe and sound from a little overnight get-a-way. It was a belated celebration of their 36th Anniversary. So I was totally fine with them going away for a night down to the coast.

Healing purrrs for my furriend Nerissa

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am wringing my paws with worry for my furriend Nerissa…he and I are great Face book pals and Twitter pals and blogging buddies. I even interviewed his sisfur Tobias as part of my Real Rescue Cats Are Talking: Life Changing Interviews with Savannah…click HERE to read the interview. Nerissa suggested I should have a meow with her and he knows a good story when he sees one.

Nissy, his nick name you know…well…he has had a terrible accident and is having orthopedic surgery this VERY DAY! Yes, I mean TODAY…this is to save his hind leg cuz he tore all the ligaments that hold his knee cap on.

If you don’t already know Nissy, you really must go over to visit him. He is just about the most entertaining paw blog writer and always has lots of interesting thought provoking stuff to get you to thinkin’ about. In fact…he is a finalist for our very own Blog Paws Nose-to-Nose Award for “Best Blog Writing”.

My request of all my furriends is that you send all your very best purrs, woos, play bows, woofs, squeeks, quacks, neighs or anything else you can to Nissy…let’s get him through this surgery and HOME to heal and be back runnin’ around on all fours…
