HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Whoa!! Meow about being ungrateful!! My toesies turned TOTALLY PINK with embarrassment!
I FORGOT to YOWL OUT LOUD about my pawsome furriends Star and Leo over at Celestial Kitties…they passed an award to me…even tho’ I have it already a couple of times…I never ever want to forget furriends who think so kindly of me as to pass an award…THANK YOU STAR and LEO!!
The award is the new rendition of the Team Member Readership Award…
…I have already met all the protocols for accepting this a bit ago…so I now offer this award to any and all furriends who may not yet have it…again, very embarrassing…but I am not sure I even earn this award anymore.

…ahem….koff, koff…okey dokey…moving right along…here is something that will make all my furriends slap some smiles on those faces…be you woofie or kitty…you all luvluvluv rescue…RIGHT!!!
Today, Dad and Mom transported 7 kittens, all about 4 months old, to a vet clinic for spay and neuter..
My former Vet , Dr. Thompson, now retired, gives back big time to our community to help spay, neuter and rescue feral and stray cats…all ages. She gives her time and DVM skills, exclusively, with Community Concern For Cats (CC4C)…I have featured them before when Dr Josie was bottle feeding some of their rescues…click HERE…
And there is another PAWSOME DVM, Dr. Linda Miller, who is partnering with Dr Thompson to help our community kitties…she owns and operates Cat Hospital of Clayton…and she donates her surgery to Dr Thompson, who gives her time and vet skills free of charge, to do all this wonderful work for feral kitties seeking their furrever homes and/or just general good health.

Concats on the award. Bet you rolled over just to keep the Mom quiet. I think my post traumatic stress came out when I saw those poor kitties losing their kitty bits. EEK! Linda at A Call 4 Paws has a retired vet who does her ferals for like $10 each. A Call 4 Paws now has a FB page but I’m not sure they’re using it for anything.
Wow! That is a great price. Just learned last night that Dr Miller actually CHARGES for each spay and neuter EVEN though she doesn’t do them , Dr Thompson does all the work free of charge. I was really disappointed when I learned that. So Dr T and the vet tech are the only ones totally donating their skills and time so APAWS big time for them. And I never looked at the kitty’s losing stuff…koff, koff

We have awards that are so old we are almost too embarrassed to post about them. My Human gets soooooooooo behind–so your paws don’t need to be pink (besides, the HUMANS are the ones with the thumbs–it’s their fault!)
Your Mom’s voice isn’t so bad! But why does she keep asking you what you’re doing? It was nice of you not to say, “I’m taking a BAFF, Silly Human! What do you fink I am doing?” It’s so hard to be patient with them sometimes, isn’t it?

Thanks Ernie, Zoey and Wally…Mom and Dad actually hung around for a few hours helping weigh, take temps, and get cages ready for the kitties who were being prepped…it was a sort of line up MOL! There were about 15 kitties that were neutered, spayed or had dental work done. Pawsome day!

Wow that was really impressive. That is some very compassionate cat people giving back to help those kitties in need. WE all are very thankful for people like that.
