HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Well, it happened…Mom Linda and Dad Peter left me and The Kid alone…gonna be gone ’bout 300 hundred years…bummer, really…’specially because they left The Kid here…pfffttt…
So first the consequences of the cats being left with a new house/pet sitter. No blog visits…sorry…but Mom Linda has the thumbs…our claws just get stuck in the keyboard.

Just jump in your teleport contraption…whether you use egg beaters, whisks, closets, boxes…no matter…just jump in and set your controls for my Three Way Teleport Tunnel…be sure to let me know if you are planning on using the Red, Blue or Yellow exit tunnel..
Now, on a more serious note…I do have some Monday Meowsie News…that is going to make all of you who have been following me from the early days really happy…at least I hope so.
You know Mom can’t pick me up without me struggling pawfully. She and Dad have learned that I am very afraid of human faces to close to mine…so Mom Linda has been working her way from the tip of my tail…up my back…for TWO YEARS…a little smooch here, a little smooch there….and last week…FIRST TIME EVER…
I let her smoochie the top of my head all the time now…lots of smoochies…no picking up yet…but I even let her give me some tummy rubs in the morning when we are reading blogs together in bed. I think this is pretty big news!!
As for the news on The Kid front…well…I have learned she has some weird notion that she is related to my pal Easy’s turtle Helmut!! Seriously???
Really…don’t you think she is a tad strange thinking she is a turtle…and that no one can see her when she is in that shell??
We will have some more posts over the next 300 hundred years…but very few visits allowed…so sad…

OH NO SAVVY am I too late for the PARTY?????? I am gonna sneak over and use the yellow tunnel, bringing nip mice! Better late then never! I still don’t like head kisses, you are very brave. The Kid is pretty silly and does look like a turtle. Be there soon!

It’s very nice to let your Mom give you smoochies. Not all kitties like to be picked up. We are 50/50 here. Shelly and Tater will allow the humans to pick them up. Shelly likes it and Tater tolerates it. Andy and Cali will not allow the humans to pick them up.

Aw, Savvy, head kisses are one thing I LOVE and will let TW or Pop give them to me all day! Sometimes I kiss them back and sometimes I bite them on the nose. Gotta keep them on their toes.
TW is so sorry she didn’t get to wish Mom Linda a wonderful trip. She was at family upstate all day. I had my own house trashing pawty. I hope your peeps have a great time and come home safely in 300 hunnert years.

Hi, Savannah! Hitch here. Hooray for you and Mom Linda! Smoochies between the ears are nice. We’ve been dealing with some backsliding here. Mistletoe got upset about something and has gone in to hiding for the last week. HuMom thinks she’s disturbed by the time I’m spending with HuMom. I think it’s more about the limbo cats. Either way, Missy’s not meowing. HuMom is monitoring Mistletoe’s food intake and litter box usage and as long as she is doing both HuMom is trying to convince the other humans to be patient. Who knew, humans are harder to manage than us kitties! Well, we hope you and the kid get closer while the rents are gallivanting around the world. Meow for now, Hitch

Savvy now that you know how nice a warm smoochie is – give the “holding and hugging” a try because I think you might like it. I’m not super crazy about being held but one thing I DO like is when Dad carries me around with him and we look out windows together while he talks soft to me…..Mom has better luck holding me than HE does but our “window tours” are a nice thing to do. You might let your Mom do that with you once to see. Meanwhile, BIG BRAVO to you and Sage for getting along well – I think her “turtle” impression is pretty good – maybe she and Hel-mut ARE related?!?!

Savvy! How awesome that you get smooches!!! I just know that one day your mom will pick you up and you’ll be happy happy happy about it! I too have been working on something with Leo since he got here and I’m THIS close to getting to rub his tummy! I can pet the sides of it now, and if he’s asleep I can pet the whole thing. And if he wakes up while I’m petting it, he no longer freaks out and bites my hand, he just rolls over all out of reach. Silly boy, but he’s coming around too!
House trashing party! Leo and Star are on their way! Star will use the red tunnel and Leo the blue, heaven forbid they should use the same one, MOL! Leo’s bringing some rolls of TP to shred and hang all over the house and Star is bringing some nip to keep the party going!

Sparkle, we didn’t even get my scheduled posts done…sigh. Maybe Mom can do some on her net book on the long plane flight then load them on. My WP. And she will get about 15-20 min a day for two weeks to try to make some visits if pawsible
