Savannah's Paw Tracks

Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

Thursday Purrsday with some gardening!

Well…first…I hated seeing Faraday, from A Ton’s Tail,  muttering to himself trying to calculate who was up and who was down between ‘The Cats’ and the ‘Humans’…*giggles*…bet you Allie was over in the corner LHFTO!!!

You must be kidding!!

You must be kidding!!

Anyway…the only comment to get it correct was over at Timmy Tom Cat!! You guys have been taking that online Cat-mat-i-matiks!! Pawsome!! RIGHT!!  The Cats are up 1.75 and the humans are down .75!!

So, I have not done a garden report for Jonesie, the Emeritus Founder of the Society of Feline Gardeners…like furrever…sorry Jonesie.

I do have something to share this week as a few things are coming back in the landlady’s garden…so sad to see it becoming so overgrown and un-cared for..but Mom and Dad were told ‘hands off’ so they are following that…but the gardener is not very attentive. Any way…here are some of the few plants blooming as we zoom from ‘not Winter’ to early ‘Spring’.

So I am purring as I enjoy my garden such as it is…I know I am fortunate to even have one and my furrever home.

Also..I cranked up my motor to LOUD when my pal Nissy, from Nerissa’s Life passed an award to me on Wednesday…I just luvluvluv that Picnic Award and I was finally included in Nissy’s Picnic…I am so humble to have been included…and I do have the Plumeria Nissy asked me to bring along…

…ummm…I could not make up my mind so I brought a variety…

Here is the lovely award…

picnic award

I will post about my own picnic invitations on my Monday Meowsie News…luvluvluv it Nissy!

And my purrs are cranked on HIGH for the wondrous ginger mancat that Sparkle’s human wrote a Twitter story about…if you have not read the Twitter Story…you must, simply must CLICK HERE to hop over to Sparkle’s blog to read this amazing two part story. Her human did this so creatively ALL ON TWITTER!!  What a challenge and what an ending…go on…CLICK and go read about this ginger mancat and tuxie ladycat he meets when she is suddenly and accidentally ‘on the streets’…Part one…HERE… for Part One…and HERE for Part Two.

The bottom line is that the ‘Red Boy’ character is REAL…and this marvelous mancat, CItrus, is in desperate need of his own home. He has been waiting for ever so long. Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue..please Tweet and Face Book share his need for a home.

That’s seems enough to every so Thankful for…and so I join Pepi Smart Dog in his Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…click the badge to read more Thankful blog posts…

We are waiting for Dad Peter to come home late tonight…again…ever so thankfully…this is what The Kid Sage does as soon as he walks in…

Suck up Sage

Suck up Sage

But then I have been doing a lot of this while he is gone…I get lots more time with Mom Linda…

  1. PepiSmartDog: Love your gardening posts – so beautiful! I always really enjoy them. :=o)
Good Lord! I’m one and a half weeks late but I’m here now! ‘She’ and I are “first responder anima rescuers” and we had some serious animal rescues to deal with, which meant we ran out of time to do some of our regular jobs. Sorry we are so late; hope you understand.
Thank you for joining Thankful Thursday and I hope to see you again and again. Really appreciate your support and input. :=o)
