And the beat goes on…

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Yep, that’s about all that’s goin’ on around my castle these days. Kit Katie, aka KK, is just keeping up on her tempo to try to win me over.

Just tidying my white paws Your Highness Savannah

KK continued to hang out close to where I prefer to take my long morning nap. She even tried to take “getting closer” just one paw forward from pretending to clean her little delicate white paw…harrummppfff!!

There she goes with her “show me her tummy” routine…sheesh!!

Good news for KK is that I did not give her a smacky paw this morning. I’m saving up for when she isn’t being caught on camera by Mom L being so “cute and submissive”. EERRRRGGHH!!

So that’s the “beat” in my castle. What’s the “beat” in yours this week?

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Mom L and Dad P have been working for like a year to get our city to build and install feeding stations at an abandoned cat colony that exists in a city park really close to our current and final castle. Our city had these built by Future Build, a job training non-profit program in our city.

I have some photos that will show you the design, adapted from Project Bay Cats and where a couple have been installed. We now have four in total. Now if Mom L and Dad P and the primary colony feeders for the last thirteen years can get the 27 cats to actually “eat” at these stations!!! MOL!!!

If any of you have suggestions about how to move colony cats to a new feeding area, we are all ears!!!

The Gathering

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you can see from my photo, KK aka Kit Katie, is continuing to encroach further into my peaceful castle. For some reason Mom L and Dad P seem to think that allowing her access to every nook and cranny is all part of her further socialization process. Supposedly this will lead to her ability to find her own forever castle. I WISH!!

You got it right. There she is right in the middle of the bed, between TKS and me. Please notice I am giving her a most proper “back of disdain” while silly TKS is looking at her in amazement. KK even gets TREATS when she joins us in my our master bedroom! Something always reserved just for me, the Princess, and TKS, the lady in waiting.

KK was supposed to go to two adoption events at a local Petco this past weekend, but that smarty pants developed conjunctivitis so the rescue rightly so, wouldn’t allow her until her eye is cleared. She also seems to have developed kitty cat acne on her chin, likely from stress and that plastic water dish that is long gone now.

I promise, against my better judgement, to keep you updated on Katie’s health and what’s going on in her path to adoption. She did have one inquiry after Mom L posted her on Petco’s “re-homing” site, http://www.adoptapet.com. You can view her profile here and please do share!

PeeEss…sadly, dearest Lilly was again returned after her adopters had her only less than 3 weeks. They returned her because she was “stressing out” their two year old resident cat from whom Lilly was adopted as a “playmate”. The other resident cat is about twelve years old. Poor Lilly was set up for failure. Please give her some POTP. Thankfully she returned to Kitty Corner and is still her adorable, loving playful self.

How tolerant must I be?

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you all know, that little foster kit is back again. Bummer to say the least!

Wait! What? You want ME to be more TOLERANT? ppfftttt!!!

I think I am the epitome of “tolerant”. I mean look, I did put TKS through her paces when she first shoved moved herself into my castle. But hey! I have Mom L so I donated Dad P to TKS. They seem to like the decision I made.

And NOW—they want me to accept another youngster running around my castle?? No sireeee!!! Not happening. Why I have had to get Mom L to warm a bit of water just so’s I can gargle to soothe my overused throat. I ask you, just how many hisses, snarls, guttural growls and sheer screeches does this kid Katie need from me?!!! I need her to learn I NEED MY SPACE!!!

“Mom L, could you get me some more warm water? I feel another need to growl and hiss coming on.”

There, see what I mean. I have to be on duty day and night now that Mom L and Dad P are letting that Katie cat have the run of my castle.

Why even TKS is havin’ her own problems with this returned foster kit.

What??? Is that kit Katie on the other end of my fevver??

See what I mean?? TKS didn’t realize that kit Katie was havin’ her own fun with the feathery end of that peacock fevver. What a shock to TKS’ system to learn kit Katie was only like two feet away from her!

What did you say Mom L? Oh, well I guess TKS doesn’t need her eyesight checked but I’m sure she didn’t realize that she was gonna have to share that fevver!

Hey big cat! Wanna play with me?

And now Mom L and Dad P are lettin’ this kit Katie roam all over my castle! Why I had to watch while she mauled my favorite Nip Nanner!!

I just adore this Nip Nanner. Is this mine?

You can see what I have cut out for me until this kit Katie gets her own home. So please my pals, my loyal reader…SHARE this badge for Katie so’s she can find her own castle!!

Here it is in two sizes:

And a smaller one:

I sure would appreciate it if my loyal readers will use this badge and the You Tube video to share across all your social media networks to help me help this kit Katie find her forever home FAST!!!
