Peek-a-boo Katie

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

My little KK enjoys my carpeted stairs almost as much as I do. For KK, the stairs are a place she plays “peek-a-boo” with anyone in the living room!

KK enjoys hangin’ down from a step to watch what’s goin’ on in the living room and to find out what’s up with the TV. She has to lean over pretty far to check out the TV. One of these days she is gonna go tumblin’!!!

Watching her go through all her stair antics is a favorite pass time for Mom L. That’s because Mom L knows that from her perch, KK can also keep track of the comin’ and goings of the litter box behind Dad P’s favorite chair in the living room! MOL

What can I say? KK is a cutie pie, don’t ya think? Let me hear in comments what you do to play peek-a-boo in your home.

When belly rubs are safe

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Sometimes we kittehs just don’t like to have out bellies touched and other times, we just totally luvluvluv it! Katie used to let Mom L and Dad P give her lots and lots of belly rubs when she was first with us. You remember we rescued her from a terrible hoarding situation when she was only about five months old. By the time she was about nine months old she was really getting the hang of making her tummy available for belly rubs.

Sadly, Katie stopped letting Mom L give her those belly rubs a couple of years ago. No reason, she just stopped once she left the confines of Mom L’s office where she lived for a couple of months to get further socialized after we adopted her. Sweet girl, no one wanted her ‘cuz she was so shy. She was adopted twice and returned both times. That’s when Mom L and Dad P said “she isn’t going anywhere else again. She is ours.”

So you can imagine how excited Mom L was yesterday when Katie let her give her lots of belly rubs for like five minutes!!

Katie let her rub her up and down her whole underside and she even posed for some photos and never rolled over and ran away like she has been doing.

Can you tell that Katie hasn’t grown much bigger than she was in 2018? She is still a little kitty compared to me at ten pounds and TKS at twelve pounds. KK is a petite seven pounds.

Hope you enjoyed seeing Katie let Mom L give her belly rubs.

Just the three of us again!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

If you have been reading along with my posts over the last two to three months, you probably remember me mentioning my introoder houseguest, Gigi. Well, she has finally joyfully made her way to her furever home. I’ll give you some of that back story next Monday, purromise!

I am celebrating having my castle back with only two introoders sisfurs, TKS and Katie, by sharing some recent photos of each of us. Just in case any of you have forgotten what we look like.

Me first, of course!

Next up, our beautiful house panther, Sage aka TKS.

And never least or last, little Katie aka KK.
