Why Does Change Make Old Seem New?

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Just a little something to ruminate (VBP) on…I am learning that changing our home actually made old stuff look like new stuff…new stuff needs exploring, trying out, sniffing, marking…you know…all the things we cats do to make sure every other cat and human knows we own the stuff…right?

Anywho…we still have the same couch…Mom just sits on a different end of it…she still puts up the footrest…but somehow in our new home this old stuff seems more trustworthy and less scary…why is that I wonder???

Phooey!! Who cares…

…I am liking this couch…even better with my fave blue afghan on it…thanks Mom…

…Moooommmmm…you know I can see you, don’t you??…give me a break…trying to sleep here, OK?!!!…

A Photo Update For My New Home

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Dad and Mom are still sorting, tossing, unpacking, putting away and all that stuff.

I, however, am exploring!!  Because Mom is totally busy…I told her just to post some photos she captured of my first visit downstairs with her (I had already been down every night by myself heh, heh!) and a couple of others I thought were catgone fun!

Hope you enjoy these.  And I promise I will be posting on Monday Meowsie News my appreciation for some awards I have received during my move and some other news about MY HOUSE WARMING PRESSIE!!  Woo Hoo!!

…first…I just want you to know how much I totally luvluvluv my new scratch lounge…Mom bought it because she has seen it on several blogs over the last few months…so thank you to all of you who posted photos of you enjoying this same scratch lounge!

…and guess what I have discovered???!!…I have suspected for days now…but finally put it to the test this morning…Thursday…YES! EVERY CLOSET HAS A BUILT IN CAT CONDO!!

…some even already have soft stuff on the lower floors so I can have a really good nap…Mom found me this morning taking my ‘after brekkies nap’ in this Cat Condo in the guest bedroom…what?  Mom?…what do you mean “I am lying on your sweatshirts and your Mom’s sewing kit??”…and I should care because?????…
