Thursday Purrsday…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

DSC_3454

My purrs are soft and gentle purrs of gratitude for the home I have and the comfort I receive from my guardians Mom L and Dad P.

Those of you who know me well know that I have been here 2 1/2 years…and I have grown more and more brave and trusting…going from hiding UTB for 2 weeks, fearful of being touched…to finding pleasure and great comfort in the touch of Mom L’s hand as she holds my head while I sleep.

Thank you Ceiling Cat and all the powers that be for helping me progress to this level of trust so that I can have such pleasure.  One day…I will find Mom L’s lap…

Now I have something fun to share…there is a new video series working hard to get followers so I hope all my readers will hop over to their You Tube site and click ‘like’ and subscribe to their You Tube Channel.  That can help them find sponsors to help them make even more of these great videos.  Check them out at AdvoCatTV.

What a unique, creative approach to both delivering some messages about animal care AND show casing cats and dogs who are waiting for their forever guardians to find them. Pawsome I say.

And I want to deliver a short garden report to my girl friend Jonesie…I have not done so for a while because my garden is not in such great shape this year…we miss all the lovely bulbs that surprised us with their appearance last year.

Monday Meowsie News…Beware! They are coming…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

*looks over shoulder*…shhhhhh…there may be impending danger on the horizon for all the Cat Blogosphere…

Over there...what is that????

Over there…what is that???

What?  You don’t know what I mean???  Well, if you ever read The Blog of Otis then you will know exactly what I refer to…the LFDU!!! (long feared dog uprising)

Yes, that’s what I am saying!  Brothers Henry and Oliver have been carrying on Leader Otis’ work in keeping guard over all of catdom in anticipation of this uprising.  Nothing has occurred to cause them any suspicions…but my discovery may soon change all of that.

And this will be of special interest for Sir Thomas…as he has been ever watchful of all things long and canine

Now my update on the latest intel about the elongated canine revolt against all things feline…

The WDRP discovered

Unbelievable what The Kid Sage and I discovered this weekend…and…*shudder*…our humans are potentially part of this outrageous threat against all feline-kind…(click on any photo to bigify or to view complete caption)

And then we watched the WDRP (wiener dog recon patrol)  in training…PAWFUL!!! Simply astounding to watch…they are not taking any prisoners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*hangs head in shame*…and now the worst…the HUMANS are supporting this…AIIEEEEEEEEE!!!

And there you have it…the WDRP (wiener dog recon patrol)…it is RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO ME…AND MY HUMANS ARE PAWTICIPANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is my report…and I thank The Kid Sage for her help…just this once mind you…she is a menace herself as you all know…just sayin’…

Friday Frolics…Blog Paws Learning and Fun

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!

Like lots of others who attended Blog Paws in Vegas this year…Mom and Dad visited the kitties and peeps at Katnip Lounge (Miss Trish has “KATNIP” as her license plate; cool huh?!).

Miss Trish and Mr Scott and the cats were such great hosts! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Mom L attended a very informative session on photography delivered by the famous Glogirly…Miss Debbie Glovatsky.  So Mom L tested her advice to ‘GET DOWN’ to the cat’s level…clearly the concept is a good one…Mom L just needs to learn how to focus…at least she is trying…

All photos are out of focus, but Mom L ‘got down’ with us…gotta give her that…she will learn to use this point and shoot better before she approached Dad P about a new camera…heh…heh

Now for some Frolics…Savannah style!  Those who have known me since my beginning days of blogging know that I do not take risks, don’t get into mischief or do things I fear might get me in trouble.  So Mom L was stunned when a couple of days after she was back from BP…while she was watching a bit of TV…I hopped right onto the dining table for a look see…after all…The Kid Sage even takes a short nap up there now and then…must be something I was missing out on…

This may not seem like much of an adventure to many of you…but for me…it was amazing.  The Kid Sage is helping me find more courage…even though I still am reacting to her with very feral like hisses, growls and lots of smacks if she moves on me…I am also learning I can do more than I ever thought…isn’t life just wonderful???

PeeEss…Mom Linda is typing up her notes from three Blog Paw Sessions:

If you would like to receive her notes, in a MS Word file, she will be happy to send them.  Let me know in comments if you want to receive her notes…do not expect great notes…but expect some that will be useful.
