He’s doin’ it again!!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

So I need some help from some of my senior kitty pals who have had to train a juvenile male kitty about how to approach his senior cat. Any of you ever have to train one of these types of kitties? Remember when I posted about him tryin’ to take over my place on the couch? The Domino Kid , aka Domie, is back doin’ it in the same place again!!

You can tell by my alert ears that I may be deaf, but I sure as heck can feel his fat butt against my taileo. He starts to clean himself as if there is nuttin’ wrong with him landing on my hind end! The nerve!!

Then he starts to take some freebie whiffies of my tail and my butt! Good grief! Who teaches these juveniles their manners???? I can barely twist my head around ‘cuz I have arty-right-us in my neck. I sure wanted to give him a dragon hiss!

Then he gets all still and like “I’m not doin’ anything Princess Savannah”. HAH! I say. I am on the alert and ready to smacky paw him if he gets any fresher.

Next think I know, he is tellin’ Mom L that I INVITED HIM UP!!! SHEESH!!! As IF I would ever do such a thing.

Domie thinks he is all “innocent eyes” but I know the truth. And, thank Ceiling Cat, Mom L does too! Can you see him holding my taileo down? Like he thinks he can keep me from turning around to give him his comeuppance!!! Again I say “HAH”!!

Unbelievable!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Ok, ok, ok. I guess a senior ladycat, aka Princess, can learn a new thing or one. Yeah, only one. For those who have followed my blog since the beginning, you know that I had a really tough time accepting Sage aka The Kid Sage aka TKS. And when sweet KK aka Katie arrived, she was easy to accept because she is so very timid of not only other cats, but also of Mom L and Dad P.

So then we were a threesome and I was ok with that. I knew I was THE Princess of my castle.

Enter The Domino Kid, age now at eight months, aka Domie aka juvenile delinquent! Yup! This kid just doesn’t know what “by your leave” means!! He just goes about “his” business assuming all of us ladycats are gonna make room for him. HAH!!!

*ears turning red*—ahem…koff…koff—well I may be relenting just a teeny tiny bit. This boy cat is not only very humble around me, he is also kind’a warm. And my old bones like extra warmth, na’mean???

So here he is this week, trying to get as close to my royal body as possible whilst I rest in my lovely warm tent on my our master bed.

Mom L comes in to find only his feetsies showing??!!

Now she fears the worst! He is trying to interrupt my afternoon nap time. There he is, spread out like a long sausage against the pillows that make up my napping tent.

Holy Cat!! Mom L finds that he has stretched out so that his paws are nanoseconds from MY ROYAL PAWS!!

My pals, my pals. I had no idea he wanted to be so near my royal presence—sigh—the price of being a royal.

Then just yesterday, Mom L was sitting on my our couch, near me; and this boy cat jumps right up behind Mom L and glues himself to ME!!

Mind you, I am deaf so I did not hear him—but I certainly felt him. And …ahhh…hmmmm…he was kind’a warm and comforting. Wait!! No, no, I don’t mean I actually “liked” his smelly boy cat body next to mine. No, no—not at all. But then—

When Mom L glared at him, he turned and stuck his wet, drippy juvenile nose into my furs!!! And, well—I never hissed, grumbled nor did I snarl!! So unlike me!! Finally, he walked right over my body and settled himself in, tucked up a bit next to my royal self.

And, well—I could not help myself. I just finally relaxed with Mom L stroking me, and I settled in and yes, I slept. He was very nice and warm.

UNBELIEVABLE!!

Me and moi and I

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I decided I wanted this post to be all about me! Mom L has a tough time finding me in enough light to click her smart phone and  grab a couple of photos of me. As you all know, I am a truly senior catlady. Nonetheless, Mom L managed to get some pics of me in one of my fave places—reclining on our stairs. Ya see—our stairs are the only place in our home that has carpet. Every other floor surface is wood or tile. BUT Dad P and Mom L made sure I had carpeted stairs for the rest of my life ‘cuz they know how much I do love me some carpeted stairs!!

I still so enjoy hanging our on my stairs.

And now that Dad P put on our special electric blankie on my our master bed, I like to have my cushy flannel beddie to nap on when the blankie is turned to low during the day. Yes, they do this special , just for me!

Do you have favorite spots in your castle that you like to visit most often? How’s about stairs?? Do you have them? Do you like them? Let me hear in comments how you manage your humans to make sure your home is just the way you like it!
