Hiya! Savannah Here!
Well I only have a couple of things to tell you about from the last week.
First, I had an award passed to me from two of my bestest girl doggie furriends…and both girls passed the same award to me! What Fun! They passed the One Sweet Blog Award. My canine girl furriends who gave it to me are Clowie, from Clowie’s Corner and Misaki, from The Misadventures of Misaki.
I do already have this award, but I feel so appreciated to have two such great blog furriends pass it to me so I wanted to share it with you. And the award Clowie passed along looks different from the one I got first and have posted on my blog page.
…check this out…really SWEET! huh?!…MOL…
I don’t seem to have any requirements for this award, but I would like to pass it to a few blogs I have started following…you all may already know them, but here they are, in no order of preference…
dogdaz, a new blog I am following even though it is not new to paw blog world. I like it lots and hope you stop by if you haven’t already
Nylablue (my new cat furriend) and her staff Sherri Ellen have a Purrfect Pad, and write a sweet blog and I think they need this One Sweet Blog award and please hop over and say Hi if you have not already done so.
Growl Tiger & Company, is also a new follow for me and I think his “Mancat Monday” photos today a pawsome…just sayin’…
Pluma Blanca, from Funkykarmamagic’s Blog, has just become my newest mancat furriend and he was so ‘sweet’ to share some of his very own homegrown NIP with me! More about that in a minute.
And for anyone who just luvluvluvs how this One Sweet Blog award looks, then purrlease take it! If you like it, then you must be super sweet! MOL
Now for my other news…I GOT ANOTHER PRESSIE!!!!!!!!!!
From my good mancat furriend, Pluma Blanca. You see, I read his blog post for Oct. 1, and he was…ummmm….ahhhh…how to say this kindly…hmmmm….well, I guess he was kind’a ‘whining’ about his Mom harvesting all his Nip crop and preparing it FOR SALE IN THEIR SHOP!!!
The HORROR and SHOCK for poor Pluma! So I tried to cajole(VBP) him a bit, and happened to mention that I had never tried fresh homegrown Nip myself. Mom has a purple thumb, Dad doesn’t get the concept of “grow’ anything…so I have never tried it and I seem immune to the store bought, even organic, nip.
Soooooo…Pluma bagged up some fresh nip, wrapping it in a moist paper towel and then put some loose nip with some flowers in a paper bag so it would start drying on its way here.
…this is what the postperson dropped at my front door a couple of days ago…ADDRESSED TO SAVANNAH!!!..
(apologies I had to delete photo…I was stupid enough to forget to black out my address)
You probably can’t see my name unless you make the photo bigger, but trust me! It is addressed to ME, Yours Truly, Moi!!
I have enjoyed trying out this wonderful gift. When Mom first let me sniff some, it was the dried flowers, and I started to eat them and was pretty interested…like for about 10 seconds! I don’t think I was born with the “Nip” gene…I thought sure this great pressie from Pluma would be THE ONE I would just luvluvluv…alas…no. But thank you ever so much Pluma for thinking of me.
Finally, I have been using my Bird Watching Tower, for play and for napping. It catches great afternoon sun puddles…just look…
…and Dad took a close up too…
That’s it for my Monday Meowsie News. Be sure to come back tomorrow, Tuesday, for another pawsome LIFE CHANGING INTERVIEW WITH SAVANNAH: REAL RESCUE DOGS ARE TALKING! You won’t want to miss this guest…his story is told so well, and he speaks with great candor (VBP). I know, now you are curious WHO this might be…well let me tell you all…you will be flabbergasted (VBP) for sure!!
