Monday Meowsie News…CELEBRATION!!!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

NEWS!!! I HAVE GREAT UNBELIEVABLE NEWS!!!!

I have always hoped to find something special about my Russian Blue, with white accents, furs. And I did!!! Besides the fact that it does indeed have a bluish sheen to it…and I am considered a “Tuxie” because of my white accents…but there was always something more I just didn’t know ‘what’…hidden in my furs…somewhere….TA DA!!

I am so happy I can’t stop shouting!!

My badge was sent to me over the weekend…isn’t it simply PAWSOME!!!

i would never ever have thought this was possible but then I saw a post from my BFGF Cathy Keisha…SHE discovered she had stripes on her tail. Well being the great investigator that I am…I found just the right setting, just the right lighting…then I directed Mom to shine that flash and click box on my tail while she also turned on the flashlight…and BEHOLD!!…..there are the stripes!

Gorgeous! Right!??

I have to come up with a really good first post on The Tabby Cat Club blog site…be sure to visit Monday because Raz from Friends FurEver is hosting a fun St Patrick’s Day Pawty. I am so so excited!

Now for the half good half not so good news. Mom and Dad were BOTH going to be gone for a day and night on bizness…bummer…BUT…Mom caught Dad’s horrible cold and so SHE can’t go…SCORE ONE FOR THE CATS…minus .50 for the Pawrents (secretly…I know she didn’t wanna go anyhow…shhhh). Now Dad is feeling lots better except for that one ear that he still can’t hear out of…hmmmm….guess I would make that a PLUS .50 for the Pawrents…with a small deduction for the ear…like .25

BUT Dad will be all alone in some hotel room for FOUR whole nights…Minus .50 for the Pawrents…and Sage will be alone in her bedroom unless she allows Mom to join her for a few hours…minus .25 for The Cats. However, I, HRH Savannah now have Mom every single day and night this week…add .50 for The Cats

I will certainly get more snuggles and attention from Mom than the pet sitter….score .25 for The Cats…but Sage will get less than if the pet sitter stayed with us (‘suck up The Kid Sage’)…so minus .25 for The Cats

So if you do the math…like I did…The Cats SCORED on this situation…let me know in comments how you came out in your math on the points…and I will announce THE TRUTH on Friday Frolics…

As for The Kid Sage…she helped Dad pack…but it wasn’t all that pretty…(hover over the photos for captions and click on photo to bigify)

Ahem…just to be honest…I miss Dad Peter almost as much as The Kid Sage…he is THE food source…Mom doesn’t ‘get’ just how to heat it up nicely in the wavey machine to make sure we have warm, not HOT or COLD food…Dad is the expert. Mom Linda, well, she is second best to be sure…sometimes she just plops it down ‘as is’…pfffft!! Dad would never do THAT!

Paw Pats, Savannah….and Head Butts from The Kid Sage

Just a couple of my readers tried to identify where they saw my now ‘Cuzin’ Leo and my now sisfur ‘Sage’…here is the outcome and the picture again..

The photo…with Cuzin Leo and Sisfur Sage circled…

Cuzin Leo is so distinct with his green eyes…and Sisfur Sage because has a little bald spot on her chin,just like her sisfur Rosemary who is just to her left as you face the photo…it really is very cute…and Cupcake found Leo purrfectily! (shhh…Cupcake is my secret BWGF (best woofie girlfriend)…I haven’t even let her know yet *giggles*…And Nylablue guessed Leo right her first guess…but missed on Sage…it is that distinguishing bald spot on her chin…not ALL BLACK CATS and WOOFIES look the same…all have special markings…just sayin’…

Monday Meowsie News…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Finally, finally….I can show my appreciation to some furriends who passed awards along to me the first couple of months this year…if I have left someone out…*points paw at Mom Linda*…ask “her”…”she” is the laggard you know…no, no..I am not sticking my tongue out at Mom…just have a little tickle on my nose and trying to get at it…heh…heh

So without further delay….first off precious Little Binky passed the beautiful Excellence Award to me…

…and I am so grateful she thought of me…thank you so much Little Binky.

And then just after I receive it from Little Binky, my new Sibe pals from Love Is Being Owned by a Husky, Lexus, Koda and Mika, also passed the same Excellence Award to me AND they added one more award new to me called Best Blog Around the World!

MOUSES!! I sure do hope I can live up to both of these awards.

Now just today, when I hopped over to visit my Canadian furriend, Miss Sweet Feet herself ,Nylablue , passed along the Sunshine Award to me…I do already have it…but just check out how pretty this photo is! Makes me think of Spring for sure.

I do try you know…to help adult cats and woofies find their furrever homes just like me…and I try to help raise funds for those in need everywhere. And without all of your support I could never ever accomplish anything…so to all of my readers…I say a very heartfelt “Thank You”…

Now on another front…thank Ceiling Cat I managed to visit my pal and mentor Sammy…otherwise I would have missed out on his incredible new journey…WE ARE GOING ON A MOON TRIP!!! I had Mom Linda get busy with her ‘sewing’ so I could have a new space suit…and I even caved in and said “OK” to letting The Kid Sage join in all the fun…what the heck…she’s only going to be young once…Thank Cod!

So check out my suit…nice, huh?

Then Mom read, too late, that my suit needed to be decorated for the contest…bummer…so she was pretty lame, but here is what we hope I got into to Sammy on time to entered…I really do just hate leaving home without my potted plant, it needs my loving purrs and every ladycat needs some flowers behind her ear to feel special…right?

And The Kid Sage got my hand-me-down suit…but it fits her pretty good…just look at her…yelling “Infinity and beyond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” at the top of her lungs…silly kid…

So the trip leaves February 27th…you still have a bit of time to get a photo to Sammy’s staff so you can make the trip and there is also a contest for best space suit I think. I’m just happy to be going, period!

Friday Frolics…Sage Style

Ummm…errrr…shy peek around Dad’s shoulders…

I AM SAGE!!

There!! I did it!! I started a blog post ALL ON MY OWN!!! I must thank Her Royal Highness Savannah (HRHS) for providing me this opportunity…I may not get many as she has yet to decide if I can stay…but I am very hopeful…*sigh*

I thought I would just share with Nana’s readers…(yes, she is often called ‘Nana’ by both Dad and Mom)…some of my frolics this week. It took Dad a bit of time to figure out how to run the video part of Nana’s camera…but I think maybe he did an OK job…what do you think???

I so love to play and chase stuff…and I am still very hopeful that HRHS will learn I mean her no harm. HRHS is very, very afraid of other cats, and people…I am so blessed that my early months were clearly spent with a very loving and caring huFamily…I know they just could no longer keep me and my sisfur Rosemary…you see…they became homeless, living on the street and so they left me and Rosemary in a box at a Pet Supply Store in Northern California…they did the best they could for us.
