Thursday Purrsday

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Most of my purrs this week are focused on bringing Dad Peter home from his month of being away from me, well, and Mom of course…*whips head around* “What Mom?”…ok, ok…being away from The Kid Sage too…”Satisfied Mom?”

I am also purring from some forgiveness… you see today over at The Tabby Cat Club, Gracie hosted an event…it was all about stepping forward with a ‘confession’ about something you have been wanting to get off your chest…you know…something that maybe a peep might call ‘poor behavior’. So I ~~refused~~ wanted to participate but I am such a good ladycat…I just ‘no can do’.

Then I was ~~rudely~~ reminded about that scab on The Kid Sage’s nose Mom found yesterday…so ok…I finally agreed to participate…you had to show a photo of yourself with your written confession…

Now I ask all of you…was this really necessary? What’s a little smacky paw to keep The Kid in line…na’ mean??

So on to other things…like today being Dad’s last day to be away from me…errrrr…’us’

I find that I have been trying to just nap my way through these last 3 days of no Dad.

The Kid Sage has been pouting and moping in our tower or in bed with Mom in the mornings…when I am downstairs BTW…

Will he ever return…*sniffle*

How long now…?

We do have some progress we are excited to share with Dad…check out The Kid and I yesterday afternoon, into the evening…

As long as she stays over there…

…for a really long, long time…

We have been spending more time, under Mom’s watchful eyes, together in the living room. Last night we even had dinner served at opposite ends…not much…but a little progress is better than none.

We are fortunate to have a family who loves us tons so we are ever so thankful and wish that for every homeless adult cat and woofie…so we are purring even louder for them.

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Oh My Cat!!! What a week…what a week..my recovery is not over…I have many more experiences to explore…my latest…sharing my lovely jelly bean pink toesies with Mom…

…as you know I have been so stressed by my sisfur The Kid Sage…you can see the toll it is taking on me…

I am so stressed!!

I am SHOCKED by the liberties Mom Linda takes with me…I just cannot stand it…you can see my ~~revulsion~~ pleasure at her intrusiveness…

No, no…don’t tough me…more more

She actually massaged my pink jelly bean toesies…and…ummm…ahhh…ahem…(shhhhh…*whispers* I likes it)

I was so totally stressed by her advances…I had to cover up my hind toesies so she could not longer ~~massage~~ attack them.

Aiiee!! I am so upset at such personal intrusion!

So…moving on…I also want to let you know that my very very special furriend and adventure pal Nerrisa has passed another incredible award to me…I was, secretly, concerned that no one would think of me to take along on a Pic-nik…but Nissy came through for me,,,

Now I get to include Nissy and ten others in my Pic-nik event…The rules for the Sunshine Picnic Award are super simple. Zoey…of the Island Cats…I am counting on you to bring along some ‘Island’ atmosphere…surf and sand!

Allie…from A Tonk’s ~~Tail~~..Tale…so Allie…can you bring along some of your very special cat claw covers, in multiple colors so all of us can try them out?? I like pink, but red might be good too…so bring your collection…’Kay??

Dinnermintz…from Fozzie Mum…well…I was thinking you might bring along some of that sheep furs so we can all have a sniff???

Katie Isabella…ummm…I almost hate to ask Katie I…but would you mind bringing along your Lion buddy?? We all wanna have a sniff…we purromise to not nibble or drool…just wanna have a look and sniff…

Diego Hamlet Moonfur…from Rumble-Bum…Hey Hammie??!! Can you bring along some water from New Zealand?? We are so dry here in Nor Calif…we could use some of your wet stuff so’s we can have green things this Summer…

Ashton…Sometimes Cats Herd You…oh Ashton…ummm would you mind bringing along one of those special T-shirts you just had as a give-away…size XL for Mom??? She so wanted to win…just askin’…no pressure…you can come without…no prob! Luv you!

Well, that is my guest list…whew…that was so hard!! I am totally thrilled to have been invited to Nissy’s pic-nik and to be able to have one of my own…MOUSES!! What an honor!!

Friday Frolics

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

We are waiting and waiting for Dad Peter to come home…late tonight…I am ecstatic with anticipation…

YEA!! Dad will sleep with The Kid Sage!

You see when Dad P is gone, Mom L goes to bed first with The Kid Sage…then comes back to ME…HRH Savannah. Now…Mom will just be with me tonight as it should be.

Last night, Mom came back to bed with me late…and so she went off to la-la land sleeping…and I saw my opportunity to get snuggled really close to her back…in a little slump she created…purrfect and warm…all you cats know that spot…right?

Well, you can just imagine my SHOCK!…at an absurd hour…5:00 AM…she tried to turn over…ON ME!!!

MOUSES!!…I can tell you I gave her a piece of my mind…I cannot even repeat my meows here as my blog is PG rated…but I gave her the what for and very loudly.

So then…she turns over and tries to make like it was ‘no problem’ and offer me her hand for some strokes…and I ask all of you cats out there…WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY THAN ME!!!

I…GAVE HER THE BITEY BITE!!!...surely you would all have done the same…then I eventually allowed her to touch my luxurious fur…only lightly…and I waited for her to fall back to sleep before I ~~succumbed~~ strategically placed myself in another warm position.

Seriously…what an invasion of my purrsonal space!…harrrummmppff!
