Saturday Photo Hunt…ADD

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I thought I would try the Saturday photo hunt…but it wasn’t so easy…but I took a hint from Sparkle’s photo…and thought…”good idea”…

Mom is definitely afflicted (VBP)…look at this desk…

She has paper piled everywhere…hoping for inspiration (VBP) somehow…(shakes head)

I…on the other paw…have no such affliction…I am always calm, relaxed…everything in purrfect order…

…ummmmm…except maybe for my current tissue paper pile…it is getting a teensy bit like, torn up…

But, just because sometimes I leave my stuff out after a play session with Mom…doesn’t mean “I” have ADD…

MOM!!!! STOP IT!!! DON’T SHOW THAT PHOTO!!!!…(stomps off upstairs, twitching tail…)

FROM MOM: Little Miss “I just don’t know what toy I want to play with today” is totally afflicted…maybe not with ADD…but with something else called “FPD” (finicky personality disorder)…hmmmm…maybe Savannah should have the title Sammy has…”One Spoiled Cat”…

He had to leave two comments because he ran out of space I guess…it was a hideous rant…I clicked on his contact info and of course, it is locked…he hides…

EXCERPT FROM HIS TWO EXCEEDINGLY LONG COMMENTS:

“FACT: Trap, Neuter, & Release (TNR) is an even bigger abject failure because these man-made ecological disasters cannot be trapped faster than they exponentially breed out of control, and they also continue the cruelly annihilate all native wildlife (from the smallest of prey up to the top predators that are starved to death), and the cats continue to spread many deadly diseases that they carry today — FOR WHICH THERE ARE NO VACCINES AGAINST THEM.”….”The ONLY difference between rats and cats these days is that people who own and love pet-rats aren’t severely mentally unbalanced and trying to hoard feral-rat populations on other people’s public and private properties — while also relentlessly petitioning all their lawmakers to do so. Pet-rat owners, and all other types of pet owners, at least have THEIR sh** together.”

I found his comments offensive and extreme…just sayin’…

Friday Recovery…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!!

…(whispers to Mom…shhhhhh…Mom!…not so loud…)

What a pawty…all my furriends are so incredibly(VBP) enthusiastic (VBP)!!!…And Loud!!

We are still waiting for the final total comments as we prepare this post…but Mom and I decided to take it easy today, Friday, January 4th…we had great plans to post all the extra cards, money (yes, I got MONEY), e-cards, etc….but Mom (sends direct message to Mom via ‘eye contact’) said she was “too tired”…WHATEVER!!

So…this is just an easy day for us…thought you might enjoy a couple of photos not published yet…and then on Saturday…we are gonna post all my other e-cards and stuff…hope that is OK…And purrlease, purrlease forgive me for not visiting any furriends today…I tried to make sure I replied to every comment…and Mom promises I can visit tomorrow and over weekend…

You all are the bestest ever…thank you so much for making this adult rescue shelter cat’s First Gotcha Day Pawty such a memorable (VBP) event! I am honored by your commitment to adult cat and dog rescue and adoption.

Basically, this is what I did to take a break today…when the sun came out…

…a ladycat has to catch some sun puddles when they show up, ya know??…

Ok Mom!…I am coming back to the pawty…ok, ok…sheeesh…what a nagging Mom!!

Wordless Wednesday

HIYA!!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!!

Almost wordless…

I had a really nice visit with Mom last night…first time in a while…I hopped up and had a nice biskit making session and watched some TV with her and Dad…

…ummmmm…my fave blue afghan…needs some fluffing…

…now for some TV…ok Dad…you have the control thingy…put it on the bird channel…

Tomorrow is a pretty big deal for this adult rescue shelter kitteh…it is my FIRST GOTCHA DAY…on January 3rd 2012, Mom and Dad failed as foster pawrents and I got my furrever home at last. I hope you will all come round…Mom and Dad have been busy getting my cakes ready…YES…two cakes…one for my Cat Furriends and another one for all my Dog Furriends!!

And, Mom made it a commentathon…she will donate $.50 cents USD for EVERY comment to the Contra Costa Humane Society, they run my former shelter Kitty Corner, and she will make sure it goes to their Vet Care budget to help with the cost of vet care for the adult cats and dogs they pull from our local county kill shelter.

AND…GET THIS!!! DAD DECIDED TO “UP THE ANTE” on Mom… “I’ll see your $.50 cents USD, and raise you $.25 cents USD…that makes each comment worth $.75 cents!!!
