Thoughtful Furriends…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

What a great community we have in the paw blog, Anipal Twitter and FB world! I am so happy to be a member of all and to have found such cool, talented pawtners!

Well, a couple of my furriends have gone and done it again…given me another shot of humility by passing awards to me…and both awards have been passed to me once before…BUT this time I want to take opportunity to ask some questions to help me think about my blog for 2013…so I can feel like I maybe deserve these pawsome awards…

First, my BFGF Cathy Keisha, Stunning Keisha, has passed the NEXT BIG THING award to me

…and she had such nice compliments to say…

” Savvy’s time is now cos she’s loved by everyone in the CB and beyond. She just celebrated her 1st Gotcha Day and has posted about her recovery as an adult rescue cat“…

How kind is that? CK like totally, totally ‘gets’ what I am trying to do with my paw tracks…leave a path for others to use to help them get to their own “recovery” to show as much as they can of their REAL SELF to their furrever families.

My question about having received this award: (anyone can leave a response in comments)

“For the year of 2013…describe what you hope to experience from visiting my blog that will have you reluctant to leave, hoping for more, and thinking ‘I (meaning you) can write about that too because it is impawtant’…”…and it is the NEXT BIG THING thing we all can post…

Next, a very new furriend, Angel Whisperer, from South Africa I think, pass the VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER award to me…

…Angel, at least I think that is her/his name…this is really embarrassing ‘cuz I couldn’t find anything about who she/he is on his/her bloggy…HELP??…

Monday Meowsie News…The Grand Total

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

OH CAT!!! Do I have some great stuff to share with you all today!! So, you remember my First Gotcha Day Pawty was last week, January 3…if you didn’t make it…you can take a look here…but sorry, everything is cleaned up so you have to wait until my First Blogiversary April 1 for more noms…

Anyway, I asked Mom and Dad to make it a Commentathon…and Mom said OK…I’ll chip in 5o cents USD for each comment; then Dad upped her play and said I’ll add another 25 cents…so now I was going to be able to donate 75 cents for EVERY comment to my former rescue group, Contra Costa Humane Society, for their vet care budget (we need lots because we pull adult dogs and cats from the kill shelter and sometimes they need medical help)…

Drum roll purrlease….

BABABOOM…BOOM…BADABOOM…TAPPITY…TAP…TAP…

TOTAL COMMENTS: 75…SEVENTY FIVE!!!

SUB-GRAND TOTAL DONATION AMOUNT: $56.25 USD

Well, that was so exciting for this 6 year old (we think) adult shelter rescue cat. I luvluvluv this paw blog community…and I cherish each and every furriend, doggies, cats, bunnies, piggies, horses, donkeys, parrots…every one of you mean so much to me.

Getting My Sunday Easy On…in a tent!!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am so getting my easy on…I have been sleeping on my Winter afghan…nice colors, huh?

But as you can see, I have to keep my paws around my nose to keep warm…

…then Mom made me this TENT!!…she always promised me I could have one like my Mentor Sammy…and finally…I have one…on our bed! And they turn on our electric blankie so my tent gets nice a warm….ymmmmm

…I tried to go back to sleep after Dad did the FLASH and CLICK thing…so he only got this blurry shot of me closing my eyes…

I am right back under here today…Dad changed our sheets, then remade the tent just like Mom did it…
