Cutie Presents Her First Selfie

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

You know I have been posting a series of interviews with Adult Homeless Foster Cats. My interviews are to help them reveal their hopes and dreams for their purrfect forever home. Read here, here and here.

On one of Mom L’s photo shoots, she met this precious little dainty ladycat named Cutie. She was a bottle baby, abandoned by her feline Mom; but thankfully a member of Community Concern 4 Cats found her in their backyard and nursed her through her kittenhood.

Please meet CUTIE!

Oh hello everyone. This is my very first Selfie ever, so I hope I get it right. I know it was hard for the camera lady because I can be a little moody and when I get tired of rubbing against humans to get pets, I sorta, well…kinda…ummm…ok, ok…I take a swat just to let them know I am done. There, I confessed my true nature, please don’t hold it again me, please?

Where do I look?

Where do I look?

Oh, I moved my head and made it blur. Let me try again. I was  hoping to be able to show off my gorgeous furs. You see I am NOT white with black…I am white with CHARCOAL GRAY!!!

Hey camera lady, did you move that time?

Hey camera lady, did you move that time?

Let’s try again…

Too close

oh my, I am so sorry I bumped your camera

One more, I promise I will do my best.

*mwahhh* There! I gave your camera a smooch!

Hope you liked my Selfie, I think I did very well. And you know I am available for adoption to a human with lots of patience…but I do love to be pet on my own terms of course.

Savannah allowed me add this short video to prove I really do so enjoy humans to rub against and to pet me.

I get to join the gang of cats from The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfie blog hop…whatever that is. You can learn more about me at gemmaos at sbcglobal dot net.

We have a new scratcher which allows us to get our furs scratched whenever we want. No more waiting on the humans AKA Mom L and Dad P…to provide our brushies.

peeEss…I realize I have not responded to, nor visited, all of my pals who so kindly visited my tribute to Nerissa posted  last Friday. I will, promise. I have had my own health challenges and spent last week and yesterday getting all kinds of intrusive things done at my vet’s clinic. I am OK. But it has been stressful as you can all imagine. Thank you for your patience.

I Am a Famous Cat Model

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Do any of you remember when I posted this photo Mom L captured of me back in April, 2013?

What'cha lookin' at Mom?

What’cha lookin’ at Mom?

It was then and always has remained Mom L’s most favorite photo of me. She says something like it “captures your REAL SELF”…whatever that means.

I have seen many of my anipal blog folks showing up on their blogs with amazing pencil, pen, etc…sketches by this incredible artist Mr. Thomas Dalsgaard Clausen. Once Mom L saw one of those on my mentor’s blog, Sammy over at One Spoiled Cat…well..she just had to have one of me…and of course The Kid Sage.

Then just the end of last week Mom L and I received an email announcing someone had posted on her FB page. We looked and OMC were we shocked.

peeEss…please help my adventur pal Nerissa. He has been very ill during April, his only month to earn green papers for his chosen rescue, Anjellicle Cats Rescue in NYC.

Nissy has not been able to fully promote the sale of his first published work, his cat-o-biography.

Throughout the month of April, a portion of all sales of the book Rescued: The Stories of 12 Cats, Through Their Eyes will go to the wonderful Anjellicle Cats Rescue of New York, helpin’ them to help save cats’ lives.  You can purchase your very own copy at your local book store or on Amazon by clicking right HERE.  You’ll wanna stock up for holiday gift-giving for sure.
