Thursday Is For Thankfulness…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Mouses, can you believe another Thursday is here already???

I have decided to join the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop today…

This Blog Hop is hosted by Pepsi Smart Dog.

I have already posted something today, but it was a REBLOG from my Mal Pal Rumpy’s feline sibling, June Buggie…and he had something to say today that I thought was really impawtant. So in case you missed my earlier post, click here, and go see what June Buggie had to say.

Now, let me share some of my thoughts about what I have to be ever so thankful for…

First, Mom and Dad are home, with ME, and we have our tree decorated…I made sure it was safe for the ornaments by testing underneath…Can you see me????

…how ’bout now?…see me now??…

…now you can see me, huh?…

…I declare this tree inspection is complete…ready for ornaments!

So I am really thankful I have this furrever home for this Christmas.  Last year, I was just a “foster cat” during all of December.  But this year…this home is MINE, MINE, MINE!!!

I am also very thankful that Dad and Mom still volunteer at my former shelter home Kitty Corner.  I don’t even mind when on Thursdays they come back from cleaning KC and smell like the other cats.  I know they are just making those kitties feel as special as they can, just like they did for me before they took me to foster.

Something else to be thankful for is that my very good furriends, My Three Moggies, SAVED their blog!! AND, their Mum had an operation and she is home, doing very well, now being tenderly cared for by the 3 Moggies…of course, Archie (isn’t he cute!)…is keeping her the warmest ‘cuz he has lots…ummmm..ahhh…oh dear…how shall I say this???…koff, koff…well, there is a bit more of him than the two young boys so he can keep Mum even warmer…whew….hope I missed offending him…

My other thankful thought is that my Champion Jetty’s feline sibling, Puffy, is no longer in any pain. And I am thankful for Puffy that his furrever home was with  Miss Lori, his Mom, who kept her promise to Puffy and his brother Fluffy (he crossed to the Bridge earlier this year) that they would live like Princes, never go hungry again and always be warm and safe and that she would be right there with them at the end…and she was for both of them.  Run free Puffy and play with Fluffy…

Hope you spend a couple of minutes thinking about your thankful thoughts today…

Tuesday Telling…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

I am sure you are still wanting to see some more of Dad and Mom’s trip to Mexico…after all…they probably saw the whole country like 5000 times; they were gone long enough!

Mom asked me this morning…(we girls had a morning together working in bed)…”Savvy honey? What do you want to share next?”…

…and I was like…”huh??…I’m napping here!….what do you want Mom?”…

…just tell me which photos you want me to share with your furriends…”Ok, ok, how’s about the water stuff…now can I get some sleep?”…

Finally after I picked out some water shots, she let me snuggle back nice a close so I could keep her warm…heh…heh…

Here are some water photos…you can click on them to bigify…

…at first the ocean looks like this…all calm and inviting…

…then you see this swell…and notice the red flag?…it always flies on all beaches in Cabo…rip currents abound (VBP) and powerful under tow…

…then the wave reaches it full height…Dad thought the biggest ones they saw were about 7 feet (wonder how many paws that would be????)…

…and starts to break at the top…Dad was in one of these…thank Cod he is a really strong swimmer…

…Mom got scared when he was out there even when he was always with other people…but he was smart enough to NOT SWIM when the waves got this powerful…

…then that night, this is the view over the infinity pool all the way to the ocean…so calm again…

…”MOM!!!…I thought I told you what I wanted for today already!…what?…ok, ok…let me see the draft”…

…”now let me get back to my planning my Garden report for Jonesie for Thursday…I can use the iPad…just leave it here with me…now…go post, OK?!”…

Sheeesh…can’t she do anything without checking with me first???
