All Alone Am I Today…
Hiya Everyone, Savannah here…sort’a..
This morning, Dad and Mom told me they will be gone alllllllll day!…I couldn’t believe my ears…I stared at them….say what???…gone???…what about me???…my play time???…my mid day snacks….my din din???…..
…then they told me they were volunteering to help my former shelter organization, Contra Costa Humane Society (CCHS)…at en event to raise money for all the doggies and cats that they save from the county shelter…It is called Dunkin’ Doggies.
All the money that Pet Food Express takes in today, from 9 locations in our county, will be given to CCHS….pretty cool, huh?!…this is their sign…
…had to do it in two photos so you could read some of it…
…I guess I will prolly take a morning nap in my Bird Watching Tower…third level of course…
…then I guess I will try to amuse myself and get some exercise chasing one of my balls….
…then prolly afternoon I will start watching for them to come home…
…I suppose I will end up waiting in our bedroom in the late afternoon trying to get some sun puddle time…sigh…all day is a very long time…….
That’s how my day is prolly gonna go…sigh…places head on paws…

Sweet Savannah we thinks it is really wonderful what your mom and dad were doing today, but we are sorry you had to stay home alone. We hope you had a fun day and kept your self occupied until they got home. Well no need to spend all day alone Savannah. Just teleport over here and spend the day with us. Hope your parents raise lots of money for the shelter. If we lived close by we would let them wash Fenris. MOL he hates getting WET!!!!!

Whoa! That’s how I feel when I’m left alone. But, who are we kidding. I sleep the entire time they’re gone then keep them up all night cos I want my playtime. You look so lonely. I shouldda teleported over.
hey CK…we could have spent the day napping together!!! I was REALLY hungry by the time they got home. Dad dropped everything and dashed to feed me…MOL…have that man totally wrapped around my paws…
Oh my sweet darling! That is so sad….I can totally sympathize because I was ‘bandoned for FOUR WHOLE DAYS last week and that wasn’t even for a good cause!!!
I am sure you will get extra food and lovins and playtimes when they come home–I mean, I’m sure they plan to stay up all night with you, playing and brushing you and stuff to make up for leaving you alone all day, right?
I hope you took some REAL good long naps today so you’ll have PLENTY of energy to play and stuff once they get home!!

uuummmm…well I did king of toss and turn lots more last night…I just couldn’t seem to decide who needed me the most, Mom or Dad…so I kept flip flopping between them…and when I change sides, I throw my body weight on top of who ever I am going to sleep with…all 13 pounds of me!!! awww…thanks guys…and they had a good day yesterday. “cuz they don’t have dogs anymore, yesterday gave them a chance to pet lots of different doggies and coo over them…fun
Savannah Doll, weee’s all’s selfish and finks we has to 100% attention, all de times. What ya Mommy and Daddy is doin is sooo great..If ya bored.. yooo’s go fix dinner, cos they’s gonna be sooo tired..Fish n chips,,,Yum yum.

well, I did not even have to pester them!…they usually come to bed about 9PM…we play in the bedroom, then we watch TV, them light out about 1030 11PM…Last night, they came back to our bedroom to be with me at 8PM! SCORE ONE for SAVANNAH!!! and they played with me and we all watched the Olympics…nice! I so hope Miss Stella O is doing really well…sending my special Savannah Paw Pats…
