Tuesday Tunnel Time
Hiya! Savannah Here!
Well, thank Ceiling Cat that many of our furriends, family and others have not been harmed by the monster storm Sandy. I know some have not checked in yet, but paws crossed.
I spent some time just thinking about all that had happened over night…
…best place for getting my thinking done is in one of my tunnels…nice and quiet…
…OMC! what is that under my toesies?!!…MOM!…cut that out!…I was trying to think!…
She kind’a scared me…what with something moving under my toes and that FLASH and CLICK thingy!
Hope your Tuesday is a nice quiet, dry relaxing one…Paw pats, Savannah

Hi Savannah !
Did you catch that thing under your tunnel ??
Yes! It was my purple feather wand toy…the wand part! Silly Mom
Well, it’s ‘cuz you’ve got such CUTE toesies!!! Your mom just can’t help it.
That looks like a great place to think deep thoughts!
Play bows,
Zim
CHUCKLE…you are so right Zim, Mom just loves my toesies
Great pictures!! If it is a time tunnel would you please look for my BFF Rizzo? Miss him since weeks, hope he isn’t on the move in the direction of the trash can… :o)
Rizzo is missing!!??? OH NO!!!…quick, run and check your Mom’s shoes, her laundry…I bet she is moving him OTD (out the door)…catch her in the act!
Yes he is… hope he isn’t a victim of squeaky-toy-dumping…
ohhhh the shame of it…pawrents have no respect for our fave toys…
You look quite cozy tucked into your leopard tunnel Savvy…..I agree, tunnels are great places to get some thinkin’ done!
Kitty Hugs, Sam
If only the FLASH and CLICK would stay away…MOL
I hear ya….I think humans have an ABNORMAL attachment to those flashy/clicky things!
Sam
Well, you outta know Sammy, you have had to endure far longer than me! You have been blogging over a year now!
As if the first picture didn’t say, go away I am trying to think really hard! I see your staff are as good as mine!! When will they learn?? Keep up the training pal!
Dad is retaining his training well…Mom, not so much…sigh
Looks like you have much work to do *sighs on Savs behalf!*
Naughty Mom – scaring you like that! A tunnel is a very good place to stay safe and think.
and I have 3 of them!!
You know, sometimes the Humans just have no sense of propriety AT ALL. Here you were in quiet contemplation, and does your Human respect that?? No! Of course not! It’s always “Let’s see how we can get a rise out of the Kitty!” As if!! Maybe we should wait until they are thoughtfully immersed in their book or a quiet meditation and then sneak up on them and start meowing loudly in their face or paw at their page or….
Oh wait, we already *do* that, right? Never mind.
heh…heh…I get not r-e-s-p-e-c-t from Mom and her need for photos…Dad, on the other hand…well…I am his Princess…see my Wednesday post…purrrrrs Spitty
You are lucky to have such a nice tunnel for thinkin’ in!
Hi Daisy! So purrleased you stopped by! Paw pats, savannah
That tunnel looks like a purrfect place to do sum quiet contemplation. xoxo
Savannah your tunnel is leopard print like my tower!!! We should get together! 🙂 Love Cody
Why am I not surprised that you and I have something I common Cody?! Paw pats Savvy
One of these days I am going to get a tunnel and do some thinking too. But I will nap while I’m waiting. Enjoy pretty girl!
I WANNA TUNNEL TOO!!!!!!
Looks so much fun and soft 🙂
There’s nothing worse that having your tunnel time thoughts disrupted. We hope you attacked that monster so it never bothers you again.
Happy to hear from you sweetie. We’re heard from almost all of our friends – so far so good. That was a nasty storm.
no kidding! still moving north through upper US then into Canada and on to Arctic Circle
Glad you are all right Savannah. That was a bad storm and if you are on the internet, you must be kind of OK. Have a great evening.
oh, we live in the San Francisco Bay area on West Coast, we are totally fine. We had close family in the storm’s path, but it shifted a teeny bit and they are OK too, they live in Philly. paw pats, Savvy
penny for your thoughts!
heh…heh…as TS Eliot says…” When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
The reason, I tell you, is always the same:
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
His ineffable effable
Effanineffable
Deep and inscrutable singular Name”. See Misaki, we cats have 3 names, you only know my 1rst name, which peeps and other furriends use, I have a 2nd name as we all do which can only ever belong to ONE CAT and the 3rd name cats’ have is the one only THAT CAT will ever know…so that’s what I think about lots…my lovely 3rd name…paw pats, Savvy
You handled Mom’s scare tactic well, Savannah:) You are a brave kitty:) Glad your friends are safe from the storm. Nose kisses!
Mom is sometimes silly like that just to get me to do something she can take a picture of MOL
It’s good to know that many of our friends are safe. It’s one scary storm!
still is for many as it is now slowing down yet still dumping as much rain, still howling winds…all diminished, but it is moving really slow so will be around for a day or more before moving on…amazing weather system…but then of course, global warming does not exist
Could it be…a Tunnel Ogre?
you always come up with the bestest names! I could still do my Staircase Troll Job here cuz we have stairs, but I am not sure I want to, they don’t have very good sun puddles…BUT I could take on the job of Tunnel Ogre…Mom and Dad won’t know which tunnel I am in…heh…heh
We heard the storm was the size of Europe!!! Amazing. Hope everyone is safe xx
sounds about right. It was Sandy, a hurricane Cat 1, pushing on shore into the jet stream which moves south to north this time of year with winds of 150 mph, those two were pushed from the northwest by a huge winter storm front carrying ice, snow, cold rain, and those 3 weather condition met right about over New Jersey, NY, Pennsylvania and then it moves north from there to the Arctic Circle. More data than you wanted, but it was a fascinating and terrifying “perfect storm” never seen before here.
Hi Savvy
We are glad most efurryone seems to have gotten thru Sandy without too much of a whiff. *whew*
Miss Boo says to tell those boys she is very single and loves to mingle.
*teehee*

Hawooo deary! We’re high & dry in Wyoming, prayers and sibervibes to those in the thick of the storm,
arwooo back to woo RA! Great to hear from you. We are dry and sunny here in SF Bay area, but close family in upstate NY and Philly…they r fine we learned today, whew. Still a big storm. Hope you get snow soon, paw pats and play bows, Savannah
It was very very windy here…the car port snapped. We all sat by the fire and snoozed. The hurry cane arrives in Canada on Wednesday..we will be at the edges so we have to cross all our paws and say extra prayers for everyone who is in it’s path.
The Maple Syrup Mob
xxxxxxxx
PS Is Mom trick or treating your tunnel?
MOL about the tunnel! And I am happy to learn you are on the outer edges of this storm. It is inland now, but still has plenty of punch as it moves ever so slowly north
Touch wood Savvy, I think most of our furiends are OK, thank Cod. We’z mailed Texas , yep, they are alright, only ones with lecky in the road or block, should I say. It’s such a worrying time for us all. We’z just all needs to say our Pawyers every night. Love youz in your tunnel 🙂 Can see your shiny furs.. Your Alf xxxx
